The hell you talking 'bout. Soos is easily pushing 400lbs, he's unkempt, his teeth are fricked up, his job is a gofer/assistant for a tourist trap, and he's an absolute manchild. He's a great friend, but would actively repel romantically. She's somewhat overweight and needs to brush her hair, but is otherwise reasonably cute and has an innocent personality.
If anything, she's a great example of the kind of girl that would be hurt by this sort of dynamic/perception IRL. The nice, slightly chubby and geeky girl that you often find at a goofy function to enjoy themselves. The only difference is that the shoe would be on the other foot in terms of approaching, as gross weirdos think "oh we're the same and in the same league" while seeing her have fun at what they like, so she gets swarmed by morbidly-obese slugs thinking their chance has arrived, because someone in the same league would be as thirsty and desperate as they are.
Someone in Soos's league would have the same build and general appearance as Soos. Not that it's a bad thing either: people love fat old couples or the big ma and pa you'd find with bulging bellies running a local diner
