Girl of the Week is such a shitty trope and needs to completely die. If you're going to introduce a new character to be a love interest make them into a regular character and not a one off. King of the Hill did the same thing with Bobby after him and Connie broke up even though at one episode ends with a girl asking him out on a date and another ends with the girl still as is girlfriend.
