So did Amazon not do the same thing with:
Invincible (now forgotten)
Wheel of Time (who cares?)
Rings of Power (lawd of dam rangs?)
and perhaps other that have fallen to the wayside with barely a whimper.
Yet, they still need to place adds in their subscriber movies just to try not to lose as much money...
Something doesn't add up.
Amazon needs to lose x amount of money every year to avoid tax liability. They also get to keep most of the money they “lose” because the production is done entirely by their shell companies.
Those shell companies need to lose money or pay taxes too.
No, Amazon is losing money on their video services and series.
Not hand over fist, but enough that they keep cutting costs and raising fees and prices just to keep it under control.
This series is just another failure that they ate trying to gaslight into a success to not lose even more money.
Management covering their asses. Welcome to Amazon in a nutshell.
Another point in favor of the show being video gamey, Maximus and Lucy meanwhile are basically just noob characters with average scores in all statistics.
Amazon spent that on a gamble or for other ends, like getting people on their streaming platform.
The gaming studio is cashing in the revenue from the new gamers as a bonus.
I didn't like how quickly Maximus went from low tier military stooge to "omg you're going to be our leader now!" all in the span on like 2 episodes. But I guess it was very reminiscent of typical Bethesda quest progression.
>quickly
i thought his progression was paced well. Titus was a giant pussy and clearly didn't deserve to be a knight, Maximus stealing it showed ambition. and then when he fought the marauders to get his armor back showed his own bravery. there were a couple other moments specked throughout the show that illustrate his worthiness.
him and the elder clearly have a close relationship, and it turns out the elder wants someone who's a little more of a go-getter. Max has been doing wild shit just to be allowed to get out into the world, then he comes back with all these plans he's made, he's resourceful, and he is a killer. so the old elder sees him as a perfect tool for the new kind of order he wants to oversee. you might think, "why would he trust him?" but this is the wasteland. if you got a killer like max on your side, you give him some leeway

I enjoyed it more than i thought i would with all the cuckolding, IR sex and other pozzed shit, but it's not great yeah. Maybe a generous 6,5/10. Which is a passable grade in my country.
Yeah it was okay. Wasn't very good, wasn't terrible most of the time.
Lucy & Maximus were genuinely too moronic for me to get invested in their storyline.
The Vault goblin boy's story was great though. If they just ditched Lucy & Maximus for the manlet, the show would be a lot more enjoyable.
Plus it's always nice to see Michael Emerson.
i liked max, they let him be shitty and you dont usually see them allow the main protagonist to be a POS anymore. and he's black so its doubly weird for them to allow him to do bad things.
lucy a cute and the actress was good
only complaints i have is the writing for their storylines. couldve been more interesting (or the vault plot could have just taken more screentime bc it was indeed the best part, along with the prewar flashbacks)
I didn't mind him being shitty, but he was really stupid.
Like genuinely nothing going on inside his head. At least Lucy has the excuse of being a naive vault dweller, but Maximus was raised in the wasteland, and he still has the problem solving skills of a 5-year old.
Everyone says that he was very stupid and yeah he's not exhibiting deep thought at any moment, seems rather laid back - yet he's more perceptive than anyone else in the show and pretty much always right.

they had moron chemistry
i dont know how to describe it, i enjoyed watching them team up
i think you're making a connection that's not there. the ghoul meant that eventually if she kept drinking contaminated water she would turn and the robot attached the finger with science
I saw the entire season and i anticipate I would want to see season 2.
This make it better than most TV-shows that TV praises, I liked Shogun, but i'm not finishing it..I liked 3 body problem (US version) but stopped 1-2 episodes after they killed boat-man.
The production feels very cheap most of the times, the only beautiful things are the shots.
Everything feels like it's made out of foam and its constantly shaking.
Look at the massive armor, it's always bending around on the actors that use it, it has no feeling of weight most of the scenes, it feels fake af.
Imagine a version of this show without the coloured person and just the beautiful zoomerina and the based guy from The Shield. It would have been a 9/10
did the black dude steal the armor?
yes
just cause you see a black guy in power armor doesn't mean he stole it. well, he did steal that one, but not because he's black
Yea and he stole a fusion core to power it as well, though the white girl talked him into returning it.
*Hides shill thread*
AAAAH, much better
*teleports behind you*
NOT SO FAST COWBOY
painfully average, hard carried by the set designs and atmosphere
that alone is good enough to make it worth checking out though
Go woke go broke.
Not buying the next fallout or elder scrolls game either.
Go woke make millions!

Oh look, another shill thread
>*carries your show*
I can see him wearing a kippa
he stuck in vault 31 🙁
He obviously has no choice but to go into stasis. He might be able to burrow out if bugs are still able to get in somehow though.
his big bro is gonna bail him out obviously
i think he'll find some way to revive another vault-tec executive and that'll open the door
Or he could start killing everyone in the pods.
>carries your show
>while being 4 feet tall
What's his leg routine?
el rato de amerigvanas
Someone should make a vault story cut of the episodes, like a short movie.
It was the only interesting part.
Dude is built like the optimal minmaxed Fallout 1 character.
Another point in favor of the show being video gamey, Maximus and Lucy meanwhile are basically just noob characters with average scores in all statistics.
RICOOO
>spend $150m making a tv show to sell games
>sell 30k worth of fallout games afterwards
what did they expect?
Amazon spent that on a gamble or for other ends, like getting people on their streaming platform.

Maximus is cringe.
Id rather watch Kangaroo Jack 5 times
I didn't like how quickly Maximus went from low tier military stooge to "omg you're going to be our leader now!" all in the span on like 2 episodes. But I guess it was very reminiscent of typical Bethesda quest progression.
poor guy keeps failing up and his waifu is gone

He's got Bethesda MC syndrome
Fallout is an overrated shitty woke lgbt troony k1ke nigg3r homosexual racemixing cuck israelite tv show
from a white man, yes
I enjoyed it more than i thought i would with all the cuckolding, IR sex and other pozzed shit, but it's not great yeah. Maybe a generous 6,5/10. Which is a passable grade in my country.
This is how smart you have to be to think that this was good.
>I ate the oysters.
>I'm tumescent right now.
I thought that was a meme. Is this nonsense about oysters being an aphrodisiac real? lmao or AFROdisiac
Basically everything he was given to eat in that room was an aphrodisiac. There was definitely a cult element to vault 4
Yeah it was okay. Wasn't very good, wasn't terrible most of the time.

High PER, low INT.
he actually has very low perception in the Bethesda spec sheet, anyway this is pure autism treat him like a human not like a video game character
they had moron chemistry
i dont know how to describe it, i enjoyed watching them team up
Goggins carried the show imo
Did anyone else notice that Lucy is turning into a ghoul?
really? how so?
although the ghoul did tell her she would turn out like him after making her drink that nasty water..
she can't have absorbed enough rads to be turning already, even after drinking deathclaw piss
The ghoul told her and her sewed finger worked instantly like it would with Ghouls.
i think you're making a connection that's not there. the ghoul meant that eventually if she kept drinking contaminated water she would turn and the robot attached the finger with science

It's fine. I like that they clearly intended for it to be video gamey.

That homie needs to get raped anally by death claws
Shitty woke slop
GO TO Cinemaphile and have a nice day
>janitor application has been rejected
It's actually mediocre. It's only saving grace is that it's not utterly awful like rope.
Didn't watch. Anything produced by leftoids deserves to be aborted before birth. This we must simply abort post-birth.
jesus christ you're embarrassing
Diagnosis: late stage hyper polarization syndrome. One Nick Fuentes video away from not drinking water because only lefties drink water
Imagine a version of this show without the coloured person and just the beautiful zoomerina and the based guy from The Shield. It would have been a 9/10
I actually do not want to prove you wrong and watch it.
I just don't care.
It means lack of experience or innocente. Read a fricking book
