Kenny was also pissed about them not using many of his ideas while writing on South Park. I can’t remember if Parker and Stone dropped the show after one season or not
He was friends with Matt. They produced seasons 4 & 5 of KvS and during s5 Kenny went off and did Testees at the same time and was pushing himself way too hard. Matt didn't want him to do both, and they apparently had a few arguments. I believe they are still friends though.

Being aware that the person you're in competition with is no longer fully wearing the suit isn't bending the rules. It's an obvious loss for Kenny, that they both ignored, because they were busy shooting a scripted bit for their scripted show.
This was addressed by Kenny. They had an agreement to take the heads off while they ate and he got a phone call from Matt and Trey and kept it off while Jamie in the extra ape suit attacked Spenny for fun. It was funny so they kept it in and edited it to be continuous with Kenny’s previous ape attacks.

you can find little holes in every competition like this that don't matter at all. How did Spenny go to the bathroom in the "stay in the van the longest" episode? they probably took pit stops for both of them every few hours.
