I hate it because within the DC universe Dick has always been held in high esteem by his peers for his work as Robin and Nightwing, but in comes the post-DiDio crew who him in these terrible events as a way of saying “see, unlike DiDio we get Dick Grayson.”
I believe the comic would get stronger sales if every issue featured at least 3 pages showing Dick's squishy cheeks getting plowed by the female character in explicit detail.
Because Hal sold extremely well. SCW was the only highlight during Countdown when Didio was shooting blanks with "52 done right". And DC with Blackest Night actually kicked the shit out of Marvel for once sales wise. So yes they pushed Hal becase he was a golden goose under Johns.

I’m just realizing they’re giving Dick the same push Hal Jordan got in the mid-2000s and all he has to show for it is Dark Crisis, Titans and his run.
They aren't even pushing Dick half as much as they did Hal in the Johns era of writing him.
