Watch other cartoons.
ghost guy imma be real with you.
my show, frog show, your show, the hailey show
it's all fricking disney slop. none of our shows were supposed to be the "best western cartoon ever made if they didnt frick it up so badly"
the tribe wars are over. move on bro
>it's all fricking disney slop
But I like my high standard Disney slop.
Did they make anything good after Lilo and stich?
Not really
I Don't agree with you about how they're all slop I think they were all special in their own ways, that being said I enjoyed shitposting with you guys while the shows lasted and I have never had more fun on this hive of scum and villainy of a site
>how they're all slop
cheap animation, lazy art style, generic premise, nothing unique about it, bad jokes, shallow characters and messages.
Those shows are literally made to be the cheapest and easiest possible to produce while being completely innofensive. If those shows aren't slop then nothing is slop.
Do pedos really
you could say that about any fricking cartoon
>i-is that a gay girl?
>AAAAH I'M GOING INSANE HELP ME IGER
Molly and Andrea should have gotten together instead of the shit they did to both of them
>the meatball in chief tries going after Disney for his own benefit
>Iger make Andrea gay in response
Don't mess with the Mouse.
>Subsequently loses millions of dollars
Yeah, you sure showed them.
>millions of dollars
Drop in the bucket.
Not when you keep losing millions and millions of dollars, moron.
Not for a company hemorrhaging money on all their projects
the show would be ok if her boyfriend wans't such a completely bland, safe character and there was a fun villain
>this show would have been one of the best western cartoons ever made
It literally is tho. The Chens aren't a big enough presence in Season 2 to ruin the whole show. We're still getting tons of charming, funny one-offs with the main and supporting cast already established in S1. I've been having a blast personally.
When the second season isn't being blatant esg slop it's being boring
Sharon is so fricking hot
They both are
Sharon's neat, but Leah tho... hoo boy.
God, imagine living in Brighton…
That delicious brown Israeli pussy
But she's Ashkenaz israeli American, not an Israeli. Darker skin isn't that rare in Europeans.
It's never clearly stated, but it's pretty heavily implied Matias is a narcissistic twat who left her in an effort for avoid responsibility. He never grew up.
She said it best: the man's a fool. He'd rather be absorbed by his life's work than have any truly meaningful presence in his daughter's life.
Why did they split?
This one frame single handedly ruined the show for millions of people
And they're all massive fricking pussies.
There is a reason why no kids or normal people watch this show
Kids don’t watch TV. Normal people don’t watch cartoons unless they’re a reboot or decade-too-late sequel of a familiar IP they can be nostalgic for. Molly McGee is neither, therefore it remains obscure.
Expect frog show and owl show were popular when they were airing
Yeah, but both still struggled with mainstream audiences. You'd think a cartoon starring LONDON TIPTON would be bigger, but odds are Amphibia won't have nearly the same lasting impact Gravity Falls still has. Same for Owl House. They both fared better than Molly McGee thanks to their more angsty overarching narratives, but they're still nothing compared to MCU Show #8 or Live-Action Remake #17 or some Star Wars spin-off.
Original cartoons have to BEG to be acknowledged by the general public.
I can hardly call Gravity Falls mainstream either now.
Gravity Falls is mainstream. It's just not relevant, for obvious reasons. The show's been over for years, but it still gets new fan art thanks to nostalgia. People also celebrated its 10-year anniversary back in 2022. Every once in a while you'll have a random viral tweet praising the show for being so edgy or for all the secret codes or just because it's the I EAT KIDS clip. Gravity Falls isn't brought up as consistently as, say, Gumball or Regular Show, but it is still remembered fondly even by casual animation fans.
I don't know if the same will happen with Amphibia or The Owl House. It was ONLY animation fans who watched those shows. I feel like if you told someone who grew up on 2000s Disney Channel that Brenda Song starred in her own cartoon not long ago, they'd be surprised. These newest cartoons really fell under the radar. The only one that got any buzz was Proud Family and that's 'cause it was a controversial revival.
Ten years ago, Molly McGee would've been HUGE and gotten official plushes and T-shirts and backpacks and whatever. You know why you're not seeing that right now? Because kids. don't. watch. cartoons. Disney will only invest in Star Wars or Little Mermaid merch because they're big IPs.
Owl House will be "relevant" as long as Twitter/X exists, aside from there the show was always less popular than Amphibia.
>as long as Twitter/X exists
So its relevance only has about 2 years max?
More like a few months
Historically Disney almost never made tie-in merch for their tv series. It's more of a rare occasion when that happened, and normally only when a show becomes huge enough to merit making merch for it like Phineas and Ferb or Kim Possible. Or they assume it will be huge like Ducktales 2017, which disappointed them in final sales.
But going back to the Disney Afternoon days, there was hardly any actual merch made for their series. Darkwing and Mighty Ducks got some action figures since they were billed as action series, but both sold poorly and were taken off shelves.
kp never got tie in merch
I literally owned a Kim Possible figure. The one with the wing jetpack
Impossible. Kim Possible never got that high ratings or is well-known enough to justify merchandise.
Sure anon, actual evidence that can be seen by multiple people are all lies, and you, a singular anon on Cinemaphile, are right. Every toy that comes up when you type "kim possible toys" is fake and a conspiracy created to specifically attack you. You are very important and special.
>kim possible
>never got that high ratings
>not well known enough
The one Disney show that had a fricking write-in campaign and in-person protests over its cancelation due to the 64 episode policy. The one show that saved in-house Disney TV animation and got a 4th season, multiple video games, an animated movie, and won Emmies for 4 fricking years in a row. The show that, to this day, is Disney measuring stick for success.
Anon, you are a moron and a zoomer.
No coco-moo for you.
Yeah, people forget how popular that show was for DTVA, Disney wouldn’t have a hit like that until Phineas and Ferb or Gravity Falls
It's so embarrassing seeing Kim's actress constantly tease it getting a reboot only to have it never materialize. After hitting the Wall, the woman is so desperate for work that she's been reduced to one of those "Make a podcast about my old show" YouTubers.
>Because kids. don't. watch. cartoons.
Skibidi Toilet is the most sucessful youtube series ever
Kids. Don't. Watch. Tv. Cartoons
FTFY
>You'd think a cartoon starring LONDON TIPTON would be bigger
Kids today don't remember the character, and adults who do don't watch children's shows.
Where do you guys even get these figures?
I know of only two things, the "TV ratings" that have such a minuscule sample size they are borderline irrelevant, and the "top 25 streamed Disney+ programs" which usually had TGAMM ahead of Amphibia/TOH and behind BCG.
>millions
Show doesn't even get 0.1M viewers anymore.
A cute and modern couple.
Tell me this isn't real.
its real
it isn't real if you close your eyes really hard and pretend they didn't ruin the best character for a stupid diversity mandate that only overrepresents one subsection of the LGBT+ spectrum anyways. stupid wokeism.
the mods here don't like me either. i wish it was easier to make friends.
I'll be your friend not even in a lewd way.
thanks, it's hksc#0000 if u wanna talk to me
>hksc#0000

i mean idk that's what it reads for me. i'll add you if you post your tag, sorry idk how to fix.
this photo looks like a fricking stereotype anyway
How about the gay ghosts?
So Andrea is gay? So her past interactions with Molly are flirting now.
Oh absolutely.
Girl was queer the whole time
Why is it always ugly lesbians?
Andreachads...we fricking lost...MtF hambeast chuds...we fricking kneel...
She was never going to fall in love with Molly or Libby, Andreabro.
I would've settled for Robin. I actually don't want canon ships anymore, they are normally fricking terribl.
I wonder how they'll ruin /our/ girl Libby.
>Robin
Robyn would have been a interesting choice. She's definitely one of the more fun out there ships for Andrea. I'd have liked if Andrea and Tammy got more notice.
this felt so out of left field that i thought this was a shitpost until i saw the episode and even then i had more questions of Who the frick is this, has she been seen before? did i miss an episode? I was thoroughly confused while watching that episode.
>mtf hooks up with ftm
beautiful
the 2 main characters are ok but every side character sucks, yes including not Fluttershy
the only thing they fricked up so far was the neighbor family
the whole ghost world subplot was terrible
>he forget they fricked up Molly, Andrea, and even Scratch to an extent
at least Libby was safe
Okay I’ll hear you out, what was SO BAD about how those three characters have been handled? I still say the only weak parts of the show are the Chens, which is like 10% of the show.
>It's crazy how this show would have been one of the best western cartoons ever made
No, it wouldn't have. You're just a pedophile who's only standards for "quality" is how many underaged girls he can waifu in a cartoon
davenport episode was a huge disappointment but the climate change one was good because libby was being based for 20 minute straight.
I think the only major problem is, they just don't know how to use their characters. Or for that matter what characters do audiences care about?
Tammy was a punky sporty girl that was in the trailers for the show and had an interesting story to be followed up on where she got cheated from her championship by ghost frickery and then scared by Scratch afterward... yet she never appears again.
Instead we get multiple episodes about old ladies love life or some musclehead gay ghost who has a running gag where he is overprotective and possessive of his black slave coded ghost.
Many of these mistakes were made in the first season but what kills me is that that Bastard and Benchod had plenty of time to read fan complaints, see what fans were responding to positively (Tammy got a shitload of fanart early on), and make adjustments to the then in early production stages season 2, but they were too lazy and insisted "We'll do it all in season 3" which became a false promise.
Chairman is another example... definitely the coolest villain design we've had in a Disney show in a while. Basically the grim fricking reaper. Gets murked in season 1 finale before we even really develop a reason to find he is bad. It was just a Game of Thrones Arya Stark "YAAAAAAAAAS QUEEN SLAY" moment where a 'good' character commits literal psychotic serial killer murder against a morally gray at worst characer, to the point where they had to retcon it was even Molly killing him afterward.
I just feel like the whole of Season 2 has been weaker than Season 1. Not to say it's been all bad, but it's like they threw in all their best ideas into the first season in case they got cancelled. Since they didn't, it sometimes seems now they're tossing in whatever plots were left over.
I'm disappointed we never got to see more of Tammy too. She could have made a great out-and-out rival to Molly (unlike enemy-turned-friend Andrea), but it seems the writers had no intention of bringing her back.
I do remember one of the people on staff was weirdly hostile to Tammy too. Bob/Bill answered a question about her saying they didn't have any plans for her in the near future, and then this other staff member jumped in like "Or AT ALL if I have anything to say about it!!!"
It's because they literally had one job for the character. She was made as a replacement last minute for Andrea. Andrea was supposed to be a turbo b***h, but the team wanted to go a different route and created Tammy for the sole purpose of replacing her in one episode.
>and make adjustments to the then in early production stages season 2
They've said they finished writing season two before season one began airing. Which sounds like a strange decision if viewer retention was the key to getting a third season considering this meant there was no way to see what worked. By their addition, they had no time to change anything.
That's the business of cartoons, greenlit 2 seasons and after that the network decides if they get more or not.
It's funny how people here think they know anything about how cartoons are made yet think their word is law
Yeah, that's the deal Disney seems to give all their animated series now a days. What I don't get is why some still seem to think that the writers could have taken fan opinion into account when it would have taken far too long to do anything like that in the series.
>What I don't get is why some still seem to think that the writers could have taken fan opinion into account when it would have taken far too long to do anything like that in the series.
They're schizos, anon. Their massive autism has infected their brain to the point that they're genuinely offended a comedy show...is a comedy show. They exaggerate the value of certain characters and storylines as if they were presented like a big thing when it was just a comedy show doing its usual gags. Lots of stuff they say S2 is guilty for is also on S1 but I rarely see any of them mention that. It's the same loonies who get upset a season made a character straight AND made another one gay.
I'd say ignore them but sadly they're the ones talking about the show here the most.
Too bad the show fails in comedy too. Maybe if it told good jokes you would hear less complaining, but alas...
Fair enough. I don't think it's worth responding to a lot of those posts but some posts saying the crew had time to work in fan reception to this season just feel so strange. I can get being upset about some of the choices, heck there are a few I'm not too wild about, but I don't think it's really worth posting about.
So you're telling me with a straight face they had stuff like Ollie written already when the show started premiering? What was the catalyst for this massive change in tonality for the show? The frogBlack folk downvoting Molly McGee's theme song's early release because they were butthurt about True Colors getting pushed back?
Crew members told us stuff like "Yeah, I went to blah blah and told them we should do a period episode and they were all for it" when do you think they did this? Probably around the time of Turning Red's release. So in other words after season 1 had mostly premiered.
If season 2 really was "already mostly written" like Baal and Beelzebub perjured then it probably still underwent a massive rewrite which still failed to account for what the fans actually wanted. They instead went by what Miraculous Ladybug youtube clips were getting.
Try being a showrunner and writer first before you spout worthless garbage like that.
>Tell me Dr. Goobermeister if you can, you have complained so much, what is it exactly that you have created? Can you show me even one cartoon? I thought not.
Anon, there would have been no way they could have rewritten anything. Animation takes way too long for them to have been able to have done that. Yes, I think they really did have stuff like Ollie written already, not just when the show started premiering, but long before it. Why they chose to go this route instead of the ghost of the week adventures that is frequently asked for? I have no idea. But this was their vision of things. Yes, I think they asked for permission to do a period episode long before season one started airing so yes, that would have been before that movie. All these decisions of theirs aren't that hard to believe I think. It just shows how weird the writers priorities were. Thinking about it, season one had some strange decisions as well which may have hinted at this direction they took. Now I'm not saying this was a good plan or anything to write it all out before they even find out if people like what they were planning, but they probably didn't have much other choice. If they waited to see how the fan reaction to season one would be then wrote accordingly from there then it would have probably taken over a year before the next season started airing. I don't think they'd have been given that much time.
>his black slave coded ghost
You the guy who headcanons Geoff and Jeff as a slave and his owner from the 16-1800s?
Geoff was like an uncle ruckus that was so racist even Jeff had a soft spot for each other.
They had a secret relationship until they were caught and killed
Freed by not being black anymore they were able to be together with only gay bashing going on
I fricking dig it.
Okay uncle ruckus
What?
>Chairman is another example... definitely the coolest villain design we've had in a Disney show in a while. Basically the grim fricking reaper. I had a feeling that we may never know any deep details about the Chairman and what history or character does he has beyond the stoic characteristics and I felt the writers would've at least try to dig deeper and put more focus about him, but no, they say frick it, kill him right there so we don't have to anything but more lore shit about him
It's not your shitty lore show. SHUT. THE. FRICK. UP.
ALL YOU buttholeS DO IS MOAN AND WHINE ABOUT STUPID SHIT NOBODY CARES ABOUT AND THINK YOU KNOW MUCH BETTER THAN THE SHOWRUNNERS ABOUT MAKING A CARTOON BUT GUESS WHAT? THEYRE NOT MAKING THIS SHOW FOR YOU SO SIT DOWN AND STOP COMPLAINING.
You know, I'm straight, but Vincent Rodriguez III's voice does things to me.
For me it’s Jordan Klepper
>this show could have been good it it wasn't bad
Are (you) mentally disabled?
Pedophiles have mental growth issues. Please understand.
Molly a shit
>how this show would have been one of the best western cartoons ever made
no, you are just a pedo
>[x] would have been great if it weren't bad
What kind of moronic-ass tautological thread is this?
>shitty side character being gay is what finally broke Mollypedos
lol
even lmao
It's just a handful of schizos and falseflagging morons blowing this out of proportion
It's an obvious Spumco Style cartoon and so it can't be better without drawing on that legacy.
That's what you shills say every time a show is criticized. "Everybody likes everything we make except the people who don't count as everybody" this is unironically how y'all think
So who actually hates this show? Honestly, I'd rather watch in than anything else Disney Channel has (Hailey looks like shit, Kiff IS shit).
It is just salty shippers and homophobes that turned on it? Is this another Lower Decks situation?
>Kiff IS shit
Filtered by the half hour I take it?
I feel sorry for your shitty, furry, unfunny taste.
I think this show NOT getting a third season is a testament on how high quaility it is in every departament (plot, characters, designs, animation). Usually, garbage that last forever like The Simpsons or way past their expiration date like the horse show do so because the team behind them (due execs pressure or sheer laziness) play it safe by doing the same jokes ad nauseam and resetting development (both characters' and plot's) back to square one every season or episode in order to keep a status quo friendly to new viewers.
>it was cancelled early so it must be good!
cute cope lmao
Self-inserters should get the rope.
>Bizmart guy is a one-off character
>his face reveal is a blink-and-you-miss-it scene in an episode
>but somehow the town has to deal with the consequences of his actions
The whole season is a mess.
I have no idea what they wanted to do this season, Andrea doesn't even get to meet Scratch.
>saving this all for a third season that will never happen
What were they thinking
>Andrea will never meet Scratch
>but Molly's cardboard cutout boyfriend has and he did so after a few episodes
I dunno why didn't they just give Molly a tsundere crush on an Andrea who's made ghost hunting her new MeTube schtick?
They had to score diversity points with new characters but also had to pretend their autism rep wasn't a one-off, so they made her a "major" character's sister.
If it wasn't for the pandemic this would have probably been the best series in recent year and Libby would have probably had a spin-off just solving crimes and dwelling deep into her schizo mind
This tweet made me realize what's wrong with season 2. All the plot points they've introduced had such shit resolutions or underwhelming ones.
Welcome to Star VS.
Season 2 is weird, because it feels like you can sense they believed they weren’t getting renewed, so they dumped every idea they had for the show in it, but at the same time, they somehow still had enough confidence that a third season could happen, so a lot of it feels really underdeveloped and half-assed just in case…
I can’t think of another show that gave out such energy before. There’s been shows that obviously been cut, and shows that went on longer than they needed to, but not this. It’s bizarre.
I get the same feeling as yours, I can kind of compare the experience to waiting for a punchline that never comes.
It only feels underdeveloped and "half-assed" because it's not constrained by ordinary writing conventions. We might be seeing Disney's first post-modern animated series.
Part of me feels that Hailey's on it! was written as a one-season show.
>Kristine breaks up with Scott a third into the season
>Becker develops a crush on Hailey in her intended introduction, not mentioned nor implied in any episode afterwards until the only other episode that involves her crush has her discarding her crush on Hailey and deciding to date her dyke-ready rival that was introduced in the next episode.
I haven’t seen that show yet, but that sounds super lame. Based on what I heard about the show, you could totally do a lot of fun scenarios with those situations, so hearing they got resolved those rather quickly is super disappointing, especially if the show does end up getting a second season.
Atleast S2 of Molly didn’t do that much.
To me, it feels like they put too much in one season and then realized they can only resolve everything if there was a season 3 and that's why they're basically begging for it.
>"We just need two and half seasons to finish the story." - BillyBob 1 year ago
I wonder if they got too confident that Disney was gonna greenlight a third, or a half season like originally envisioned.
They probably thought from their history with Disney that they would get special treatment or something.
They've already said S2 ending is fine as the true end if they don't get greenlit for a third, they probably just want to make more because they have more ideas. None of the plot points they've presented are big story arcs, you people act like this is a loreshit show when it's strictly comedic.
The most ambitious storyline so far is Scratch's memories, which was eventually going to happen with the question of "How did he die?" being present since the start of the show, and it's obviously being resolved this time.
>They've already said S2 ending is fine as the true end if they don't get greenlit for a third
Yet the writing is rushed and jumbled and they keep shilling for a season 3, so that's not entirely true.
>the writing is rushed and jumbled
How is it rushed and jumbled, its not a loreshit show owlgay. The damn comedy show doesn't need season long dramatic story arcs stretched out ad nauseaum, and if they did you'd be complaining they're taking too long to do stuff.
>they keep shilling for season 3
Yeah, no shit, they want their job and to continue getting paid doing something they like.
>its not a loreshit show owlgay.
You know it doesn't just apply to lore shows, right, moron?
>Yeah, no shit, they want their job and to continue getting paid doing something they like.
Production of the show is already over, yet Bob and Bill keep blabbering about a season 3.
Funny how you've yet to provide any reason as to how this season is "rushed and jumbled".
>yet Bob and Bill keep blabbering about a season 3.
There are people with shows that have been over for years who talk about revisiting their work, and Bill and Bob were told they have a shot. No shit they talk about season 3, it's the right business move.
>Funny how you've yet to provide any reason as to how this season is "rushed and jumbled".
People have explained exactly why in this thread and others. Go read, nimrod.
>I have no actual argument so read what others have said because I'm too dumb and lazy to speak for myself
Thanks for your concession
I'd rather you talk about than instead of pretending you ever gave a shit about Tammy, the business man or any of the other garbage you freaks keep screaming about.
>Thanks for your concession
More like yours since you admitted you're not even reading the thread to know what people's complaints are but still decides to mouth off.
You've already conceded once, no need to do it twice.
It's the way you people talk about it, you never see any freaks like you on Hailey's On It or BCG threads complaining about a one time character never coming back or some plot line being "rushed". You are a special kind of worthless b***h.
>you never see any freaks like you on [show that just started airing] or [show that does the format better and has better writing] threads complaining about a one time character never coming back or some plot line being "rushed".
You don't say... It's almost like the problem is rooted in Molly McGee.
Or maybe it's rooted in you specific cavemen since Hailey's On It, BCG, Big hero 6 series and Moon Girl also has tons of the same problems you talk about Molly, yet you only talk about it here.
Almost like...you're too obsessed with this show
>Criticize show.
>"YOU'RE OBSESSED!"
Seems like that fits your more since you seem really bothered by people giving some negative feedback and getting deranged over it.
Seething over minor details of a show and saying "IT'S BAD" without actually explaining why is not criticism, it's moaning. If you actually criticized this show you wouldn't spent hours talking about "wasted potential".
>SEETHING
Lmao.
To be fair, HOI has brought back just about every character they've introduced so far. Even fricking Joanne Droid has more appearances than Tammy now.
>I'd rather you talk about than instead of pretending you ever gave a shit about Tammy, the business man or any of the other garbage you freaks keep screaming about.
You mean stuff that is in the show? Wowzers, why would people care about that?
>long dramatic story arcs stretched out ad nauseaum
So season 2 with the Scratch lore? If you say it's strictly an episodic comedy, then it's fricking garbage since there are no interesting character dynamics left.
>So season 2 with the Scratch lore?
So which is it motherfricker, is it rushed or slow? I'd think you'd enjoy seeing a slow story if you are upset over them "rushing" things. But nah, you just want to moan about everything.
>it would have been good, if it wasn't so shit
Why can't an episodic comedy remain an episodic comedy after the first season? They always go deep lore.
Season 1 was not really episodic since most of it was building up to Scratch being sent to the flow. Season 2 on the other hand is just a disjointed mess of filler episodes with some occasional character development but without any overarching plot.
In this specific case it was because Bob and Bill didn't want to do the expected which was a ghost of the week series which would have been better in every way
Yes lol
The episodes where it’s Molly trying to defeat or help a ghost find peace are the best episodes, like the camping episode, or the ice skating episode. I always thought it would have been cool if they kept that up, just exploring all the weird and spooky shit that happens within Brighton.
Isn't this show almost exclusively viewed by pedos though? Who fricking cares.
>everything I don't like is for pedos
Or every time you see people discuss this show on here, it's to slobber over the little girls
Does anyone have a mega with all the episodes?
Oops I screwed up, here
https://mega.nz/folder/YOJSXJAY#_zk3ARUKrIRL7iEGrNzl_g
Every day it gets more annoying how you grown-ass dumbasses act like an episodic comedy show about a ghost is a crime against humanity just because they did things (you) didn't want to.
Employee harming children through cartoons is a crime, just not a crime that's illegal by civil law. But Jesus did prescribe a punishment which is being drowned with a millstone. Something to think about
If you really believed in Jesus you would know you're spending an eternity in hell, guy
>Ad hominem
>Being this moronic
If you believe you will be saved. Please don't speak about things you know nothing about (and cannot spiritually comprehend) again
This is one of your typical animation industry psychological attacks, you people don't know anything about much of anything, but you know how to make unformed young people insecure with your nastiness. Speak again for more emails
>replying to the wrong post
Can you do anything right?
Is this supposed to be some kind of ineffectual prank as the most your man child mind can do, anyway I'm going to go message some crew members on the show because you can't shut up
>message some crew members on the show
Go talk to your imaginary friends guy, they're the only ones who listen to you
More pedophilic responses, are you begging for more nails for Your grave
Charisma is a specific thing to mention - the mentally unstable don't get people searching for things to bring up
Apparently the most basic plot is something to obsess over. Even shows like Billy and Mandy had backstories
Your impact in this industry is 0 no matter how much you fantasize about the contrary. Besides, you sound too mentally unstable for anyone to take you seriously anyway since you have no charisma whatsoever.
Oh boy, looks like someone triggered the TGAMM ambassador in this thread.
>it's an EPISODIC COMEDY, not a loreshit show, you moron.
Explain Scratch's backstory then, nimrod. Or maybe the story with Oliver and the Chens? Or Scratch being the new Chairman?
You're not really all that bright, are you?
Motherfricker, sitcoms get storylines and development too, doesn't mean they're lore shows. When a show like Friends, Drake and Josh or Fresh Prince has a wedding episode, do you think that's a lore show? When two characters hook up in a sitcom, is that deep continuity? No, they're still episodic comedies, just because there is some story doesn't mean they have to abide by the rules of serialized TV.
The fact you don't even know the difference between two types of shows proves you fail natural selection
Molly is a sitcom that has loreshit elements and it's failing at both. Why are you unable to understand this?
What makes you say it's failing? Answer me, motherfricker.
>What makes you say it's failing?
The reception and no season 3. Like DUH, anon.
>The reception
It's getting higher than normal ratings and the main demographic is happy with the show, so you better shut your mouth and your baseless criticism.
>It's getting higher than normal ratings
Lmao. Okay, so where is season 3?
Bill and Bob have already said that they only need 2 seasons. How many times are we going to say this for you to understand?
So why do they keep asking for season 3 to answer everything, bucko?
>Why do showrunners want more seasons of their show
It's a mystery
To be fair, in todays climate it’s hard as a motherfricker to get more than two seasons, due to mergers, the implosion of the streaming bubble, and executives like Bob Iger cancelling shit left and right and trying to squeeze their studios for any penny.
Also people don’t know this but the reason few shows go past two or three seasons is because after those two or three seasons the show goes into syndication and you have start paying the staff more
>Molly sits in her bench
What happens.
Scratch and Becky get into a scare off
Behind the scenes look at your average molly mcgee critic posting on these threads
>Animation industry person drops by to say lame shit
Finishing my email. And if that's the way you want to use that SpongeBob episode I'll be going against current SpongeBob as well.
Sorry bud, chemicals aren't going to stop me from being a threat
If it was a real success they would green light more
anon I think you should take meds
Guy is a worthless schizo but so are the morons talking about "wasted potential" and making up names for the showrunners that nobody else uses, so maybe he found his flock
Oops didn't know that Outlook sucks so I have to write it again. It was good to write though, I'm going to enjoy this
>Is so desperate to maintain hold of his status in the animation industry he brings up what nicknames are used
Lmao. No my man if your industry wasn't parasitizing me you wouldn't have to try to whip me like a slavedriver. Your mind just can't grasp the horrific reality of what this relationship between me and your industry means, like that I can mess it up by sending some messages. You're starting to get afraid though
Are you trying to psychologically attack me with this garbage, 2 more emails then
Bro, you're delusional if you think your ass influenced anything but trauma in your niece, rapist.
Shut up boil
>Being a showrunner is a lofty ruling position and you are all my peons, stop criticizing and thinking!!
Actually hardly anybody even watches the shows, let alone likes them lol. Molly McGee had some popularity because it didn't come from the new generation of you spoiled brats, but that appeal is gradually dying off
>Molly
>spumco
Guy, Anthony, local lolcow, i know, we all know, you idolize John K. and even if you're a complete moron, at least you're right about Kricfalusi's talent. With that said, i must question:
ARE YOU REALLY THIS moronic?? Thsi is stupid even for your level. Unless you're really REALLY thinking this. In that case, you're hitting new lows, you're directly shitting on John K.
I really enjoyed the first season on The Ghost and Molly McGee, but gave up on the second season pretty quickly. Lackluster ideas plus wokeshit is not working for me. It's a real shame, the series had a lot of potential.
>wokeshit
Meds please.
>Personally attacking people who criticize your show
Just emailed
It's hilarious that you people think not enjoying Disney products is a medical condition, always has been and always will be
>Morality and God belief is autism
Ironically I bet you're on more meds than he's ever been
>muh wasted potential
Then kindly frick off and don't ever talk about Molly again, nobody misses you.
It really should have just stuck to the status quo, the show worked that way, I know people often hate on lore but in this case the lore actually killed it
I'm in this show just for Libby, while waiting on Leah's development as a character. Anons seething over Andrea having a girlfriend are weird and probably have some kind of autism.
>Molly gets boring boyfriend
>Andrea gets fugly girlfriend
At least it's too late for them to ruin Libby and Leah...right?
>ableism
Real smooth, anon.
has Andrea's letimof been recorded in full and posted anywhere yet?
meh i am special needs, not offended by that. i just think straight trans girls deserve representation, we've seen enough lesbians by now.
t. Every single cartoon ever
Is this worth torrenting or not?
Yeah it’s a comfort comfy watch, but not as comfy as Hilda
>comfy
by that he means not as boring.
Make more period episodes.
Stop exclusively watching children's cartoons on Disney Channel and you won't say stupid shit like this
It’s not like adult cartoons are any better
i dont watch this cartoon, please explain to me what went wrong
Nothing. OP is being a b***h because it's not a lore show.
This show would've been amazing if it came out in the late 00s, when the creators initially intended to pitch the show. Not that I'm totally disappointed with the way it came out or anything, I like what I got out of season 1, but I feel like it deserved so much better than to fall victim to "modern writing"
Yeah I agree, I like the show, and it’s top tier animation and character designs make it hard for me to hate it, it’s kind of like modern SpongeBob in sense, but I also wonder what the show would have been like had it come out in the 2000s and was a purely episodic horror show a la Billy and Mandy. It’s why I fell in love in the first place with the show, because it felt like a late 90s/early 00s/Y2K show with its angular UPA designs and with season 1’s more episodic nature.
I also don’t have an issue with lgbt representation, you have to be an actual homosexual to be offended by queer cartoon characters. I just wish it were done with more character development and in a more gradual manner, but of course that would take more than two seasons and it seems Disney wasn’t willing to give them more than two, specially nowadays, since it’s been so rough for animation in the last couple of years
If it had come out in the 00s it wouldve been a vastly different show. Libby would've been the token black genius friend, and Andrea would've never evolved beyond a bully. Also Scratch would be voiced by Gilbert Gottfried and the plots would be full of SB99 and TB tier fetish shit
molly getting skunked would have been used as a "reasonable excuse" to have (tomato) bath scenes.
> Also Scratch would be voiced by Gilbert Gottfried
I love Dana Snyder, but that sounds so ducking cool. Specially since Gilbert was actually a bit of horror buff and would do impressions of Dracula and Dr Frankenstein on Howard Stern
Sounds better than what we got.
Bringing in a copypaste chinese family was a mistake. Then kicking Andrea out of the main trio and making her a dyke were the second and third strikes
Nobody cares, it's not a lore show. Just enjoy the comedy and stop being an autistic moron about writing.
Comedy is about the characters, dipshit. If they suck, then it's not funny. Seeing Molly be a manic moron can only be funny so many times.
What S2 episodes did you like and what S2 episodes did you not like?
I did not like picrel, the first one, the one where Molly's thai family visits, any Ollie centered episode cause he's fricking boring, Sunnyland, and i think thsoe are all the ones i saw and remember not liking. The only one i kinda liked was tbe one about Scratch's soda. Afterna few episodes, id ropled it and just'vebeen on standby in the /trash/ general, drawing shit and making fun of the new episodes
>If they suck
How? Give us objective proof that the characters suck. Until then, you're just a crybaby schizo upset that he's not getting what he wanted.
>Molly need to learn about not overexerting herself for like 3 episodes
>Libby is just there, same as always
>Andrea is BARELY there, now working as propaganda
>Ollie is toned down male Molly
>Scratch is just a fatso eating shit now, not a force of chaos
I said objective proof, not your opinion.
Again, it's not a lore show. For all I care, the creators can do whatever the frick they want with the characters.
>I said objective proof, not your opinion
My opinion is that they suck. Those are objective facts.
>it's not a lore show
Well, BillBob are thinking in a different way than you, buckaroo. Season 2 proof of it
So why do you still hate it even when you believe the showrunners are making it a lore show? Isn't lore what you wanted, owlshit, or are you just here to complain?
Who even said i wanted a lore show, babe? Don't get your panties in a twister, now that you got put in your place
Give us objective proof it doesn't suck then.
My objective proof is the plumetting viewership ratings, and the lack of a renewal for a third season despite production for season 2 being long done.
Ratings and renewals don't mean anything in today's media landscape. Nor does it prove a show is bad.
However, IMDB scores are consistently high and notTwitter still speaks favorably of it.
Andrea was never a main character. Why do people act like she is? Fricking Darryl was more part of the gang than she was.
Darryl seems very irrelevant in this season.
The Andreahomosexualry seems to be the result of people wanting some kind of "Calamity Trio" with Molly, Libby, and Andrea.
They pair up the best girls with shit ugly girlfriends to frick with cartoon nerds and you’ll slurp it up anyway like a good cuck.
I don't want to stop until all girl shows are Yuri shows
Yuri is cool if the girls have good taste in women. The new trend is to have them lez out for ugly ass butch lesbians.
Amphibia is the only recent kino loreshow with a season 3 and beloved by everyone else.
The fact that they made Libby's feet look like THAT but made Molly's feet look like nondescript paws had to be intentional.
Well she is both a puppy and kitty girl. so the paws make sense.
I love Libby
I love Gibby
I love Pibby
Guys...
