Why are marlels so obsessed with seeing DC fail?

      Anonymous

DC has been failing since 2013 or whenever the frick BvS came out. You could argue it's been failing since MoS split the fanbase.

Then why the frick did they set up a sequel in Flash.

That wasn't a sequel set-up, dipshit. Whatever the frick made you think Clooney was gonna be the new Batman? They actually CUT the Batfleck sequel set up.

What the frick was that then? It was very obviously staged like a cliffhanger.
They could've easily cut it out but they sid not. I thought it was setting up the future multiverse shit.

          >What the frick was that then?
Honestly? I don't know. I think it was an indication for a soft reboot. The Batfleck "AUGH HELP ME BARRY I'M STUCK IN THE MULTIVERSE" would have been a better teaser, and the OTHER planned ending with Supergirl and Keaton would have left the story closed but go against the message so...a kind of funny scene in a bad movie? The CGI tooth was fricking atrocious.

I think the OP is either false, or they'll recast Ezra considering him being a trouble.
It was kinda funny, but in-movie implications aren't really funny because it means Barry still fricked up the multiverse by the alteration that saved his father from jail, and is stuck in the Schumacher-verse.

              Anonymous

They should have ended the movie with Barry saying goodbye to his mom and going on a date with that reporter. I think the purpose of the ending was to show that even if he fixes the damage the timeline will never be the same like the Flashpoint comic reboot. But they way they executed that was so awful i don't even know anymore i think they said frick it uncook the spaghetti.

          >What the frick was that then? It was very obviously staged like a cliffhanger.
It's a joke ending that show's he's still got things to fix. It's by no means a cliff hanger, just an "And the adventure continues..." sort of ending. The same way the original BTTF ends with
          >It's your kids, Marty! We gotta do something about your kids!
But was never intended to be actual sequel bait

Marvel seems to have just killed this idea for modern audiences.

          >It was very obviously staged like a cliffhanger
That's like saying the dark knight rises ending was staged for a robin sequel. DC doesnt plan ahead, the idea is always the same "does this looks good?" and "let's add something like this as a plot twist".

dc's movies have been shit for so long.
nolans trilogy was last truly great one, since then there has been mos and maybe the extended bvs
disney mogged dc's stuff with mcu and x-men. even the later x-men flops are better than anything recent dc. its just a fact.

    Kal El, no...

For real though, I say frick it and "good".

The whole point of comic books was to tell different stories from different authors and constantly reinterpret spider-man or batman or whoever.

You should just shake that etch a sketch after a few movies with the same actors playing the same characters.

There are no stars anymore, the characters are the stars, anyone can play them. That's why they keep changing the Spiderman or Batman actor, and nobody gives a shit.

You're on the right track. But I'd argue that people actually do care about the constant DC recasting.

Sure there are no "new" stars anymore. But that's a result of recasting, not the cause. Make Cavill "Doctor Doom" and Ryan Gosling "Reed Richards" and your F4 film is saved. Probably reignite capeshit for 10 more years.

It's so surreal that this 'cinematic universe' has been around for over a decade, and yet it only has a handful of movies. It feels like there's been more movies announced then canceled than actually released. There was more production news and drama than actual movies released. Over a decade of failing.

Welp, it has to at least be reaching it's wet fart of a conclusion.

    Nice.
Now cast a non-gay for Flash, an actress who can act for WW, and a comic accurate Aquaman.

As a DCgay there's so many people to blame for this shit but god damn did they frick it all up everywhere.
I still think most of this should be blamed on warner for BvS and not releasing the fricking 4 hour cut instead of the shit theatrical cut we did get.

Same, but now that we’ve seen the closest thing to Snyder’s original vision for Justice League, I don’t believe there was ever any salvaging this. It was too long, added nothing and made Darkseid look like a pussy twice.

      Mogged by a cosplayer

I didn’t mind her not being blonde, but I mind her not having any personality.

That's idiotic. A superhero film shouldn't need 4 hours to be coherent

The “cinematic universe” is played out. The juggernaut known as the MCU is dying. DC was too late to the game, and no one cares.

As I am not a homosexual, I don’t care about acting. Actors are set pieces and I want them to look the part. Some of the best movies of all time have bad acting, like Star Wars.

Can’t wait to see them 15-20 years from now in a kingdom come movie (after the DCU flops and WB hides behind Batman for the next decade) just like how all the superhero flops from the last 20 years are all of sudden nostalgic underrated masterpieces.

As a Snydergay, how is this a surprise to anyone at all? What part of Gunn making a whole new universe did people not get? Was The Flash literally resetting the universe not enough of a clue?

Or are people just pretending to be shocked to own le evil sneeder pajeets?

    >Superman
Well cast, but suffered from a shit director, shit writers, and an old hag Lois lane
    >Batman
    Terrible casting 2/10
    >Aquaman
    Even worse casting, 1/10
    >Wonder Woman
    Worst possible casting, 0/10
    >Flash
Miscast but not as bad as the three preceding abortions
    >Cyborg
Who gives a shit? Should’ve been MM or Hal Jordan/John Stewart GL
All in all I doubt James Gunn will get DC back on track to make some watchable movies, but I’d be surprised if it was as bad as Snyder’s constant frick ups

This rarely happens in any of Gunn's Guardian's movies though. He knows when to let a dramatic scene play out.

Nah he's right. The dramatic and heartfelt scenes play out without jokes. Like when Yondu died or all the scenes with the animals in 3. Gunn usually breaks the action scenes with jokes though.

That's an obvious lie because the second Guardians was a fricking obnoxious movie with terrible humor that ran too long and because of it aways fell flat.
