The episode does nothing to address how the AI killed a woman nor the poor conditions of the workers. The show doesn't seem to realise that it has created a standard dystopian setting that can easily be interpreted as commentary on the likes of Amazon.

The corporation treats it workers poorly and it only has those workers because the government forces it not go fully automated. The villain does terrorism, which are being covered up by the corporation, to protest the lack of employment opportunities and the AI that runs the factory kills the woman the guy loves. The episode does nothing to address how the AI killed a woman nor the poor conditions of the workers. The show doesn't seem to realise that it has created a standard dystopian setting that can easily be interpreted as commentary on the likes of Amazon.
