Not so much shit on, but had a heavy dose of reality thrown in. Murphy noticeably acts more human around Lewis, he just leans into the action hero schtick on duty because he sees it as part of his job and its one of the few things that makes his new existence bearable.
My headcanon is he acted robotic again in the sequel because he got recaptured by OCP off screen. They let him be "human enough", but not too much to where he disobeyed orders.
Before I call you an idiot. Why? Cool factor? This obviously bait though I give zoomers too much credit to even explain having mask on defeats whole purpose
It's a transitioning allegory. The end is kino because he accepts he will never be a woman and want to be called with the name he was given by his parents
I didn't get it. The movie established that Murphy isn't free, he will ever have his directives programmed on his brain, but as he answered what is his name( Alex Murphy) he is saying to the audience " I'm a human". But then the bastard Paul Verhoven came, immediately afterwards, and close with "ROBOCOP". that cretin
lol, someone has to make the webm where the old man asks what's his name and just as murphy finishes turning to look at him it cuts to the credits title card.
You know what? It probably is
>Nice shooting, son. What's your name?
>"Robocop want Oreo."
was RoboCop moronic?
No. He was Mechanical
Peter gets an Oreo.
Murphy 🙂
>My friends call me Murphy, but you can call me
>Robocop 3
Robert Cop!
The furniture of law enforcement!
sneed
Hitler.
>Android Cop
Too bad its completely shit on and ignored by the sequel

Naw
If you're not right, it's at least up there.
Agreed

>It's LITERALLY the greatest film ever made.
FTFY
Would have been better if he left his mask on for the climax.
would've been better if he climaxed mercury over the CEO's face
Before I call you an idiot. Why? Cool factor? This obviously bait though I give zoomers too much credit to even explain having mask on defeats whole purpose
>the bad guy was the executive, not the CEO who bought the police and commissioned the robot
Was he really Murphy resurrected or just a robot with Murphy’s memories?
Was Murphy moronic?
He's pretty functional for a guy who got his brains blown out.
True actually.
Just watched this Kino. Was not expecting Murphys death to be so brutal.

Seriously. Still the only movie death that makes me flinch to this day.

He looks just like troll face there
>"Nice shooting son, what's your name?"
>"RoboCop (1987 film)"
Reminder that Lewis was the reason Muphy was killed because she had to glance at the BBC
Yeah because it's finally over
