I'll say. Cloth fabric does not work that way.
its pretty lame
Who said it was? I didn’t like it at the time.
It's considered a masterpiece, the "greatest Batman comic of all time".
That cover is fricking moronic and Alex Ross is a hack homosexual.
You're the first and last one to ever say this.
>Alex Ross is a hack
>You're the first and last one to ever say this.

That link doesn't say it's the greatest Batman comic of all time.
They said it on goodreads and reddit.
Yes.
>It's also a Batman book for grown-ups.
KEK!
What's kek about that? Do you think that's somehow novel? No kid should read Batman Night Cries.
His Batman run in general is patchy. His B&R is fun, but even that suffers from starting on a high note with Quitely and plummeting afterward. Return of Bruce Wayne is just okay. Batman Incorporated was a bit of a wet fart.
it only takes a dip in the middle, Batman vs. Robin and the finale with Frazer Irving are phenomenal
the art ruins it
i like paul dini's stuff better
It's impressive that Morrison managed to keep his run on Batman up to as high a standard as he did for as long as he did. It's unfair to compare it to a GN like TDKR or Year One
What high standard? Most of it stunk.
support your statemente to prove yourself. Cinemaphileourist.
How much Batman did you read before reading RIP?
All of Morrison's previous Batman comics, DKR, Year One, Killing Joke, a handful of Silver Age stories including Zur-En-Arrh, O'Neil, Englehart, Barr, Moench, Dixon.
>All of Morrison's previous Batman comics
Did this include Gothic, Arkham Asylum and "The Stalking"?
Gothic is an underrated gem
>millargays
?
What was it even about again? I tried reading it years ago but never finished it
It's end of phase one of the Morrison Batman Epic and a prequel to Final Crisis
TLDR is that Batman is targeted for destruction by the Black Glove (an evil group of elites/1%er types who do horrible things for fun and get away with it due to their wealth) and the super villain team they are financing (The League of Villains, filled with Morrison OC ethnic foreigner supervillains and Joker), in the days leading up to the murder of Orion. Batman is supposedly broken by the Black Glove but survives. But the head of the Black Glove, Simon Hurt (who is in league with Darkseid in a time loop scenario to kill Batman) "curses" Batman to die on his next case (Final Crisis).
Didn't something similar happen in Court of Owls?
yes, Court of Owls was basically a straight rip of Black Glove/RIP
>Grant Morrison: he's not that good.
There you go.
All-Star Superman is good.
I just said not *that* good. Didn't mean he wasn't good at all.
Coward. Why are you this wishy-washy on an Anonymous image board. Just pick a side, even if it's the wrong one.
I like you

Grant Morrison was always a hack.
Wrong. He wrote a few good comics.
