It's okay to appreciate Miles Morales just as much as you like Peter Parker.

What if I think they’re both shit
t. Contrarian Ben Reilly fan
The only good miles is Spiderverse miles, if every version copies this one they would be good. Comic and games miles SUCK DICK.
the peter clones SUCK DICK too. Kaine is cool though
>The only good miles is Spiderverse miles, if every version copies this one they would be good. Comic and games miles SUCK DICK.
But they're all identical, are you sure all the other good character and animation aren't just letting you ignore how shit of an idea Miles is as a character?
>shit of an idea Miles is as a character
what? legacy characters have existed forever. After the first movie the special animation wears off and you are left with how much you enjoy the character interactions so of course I enjoy him.
Games mile was dogshit and almost every ps5 owner even the miles slurpers agree. He had nothing to him just living white bread. Same goes for comics miles to an extent.
And legacy characters have been shit ideas at the core since forever, except Miles also has the exponential shit bonus for existing only to be a race token and adding absolutely nothing to the IP while taking away a lot. Miles is a character that literally no one would use or pretend to like if he were white.
What are the significant difference between comic Miles, game Miles, cartoon Miles, and movie Miles?
I only keep up (kinda) with comic Miles, this isn't a rhetorical 'gotcha' question, I honestly don't know what his portrayal is in other media..
why haven't you watched into the spiderverse yet?
No interest. Same reason I haven't watched any of the Star Wars sequel movies yet.
you won't regret watching the first movie atleast. It is a very solid cape fiilm.
>The only good miles is Spiderverse miles
Except the second one went backwards and wrote him the same way other media properties write Miles, and now there is no good Miles
No, Spider-Man just sucks
t. Edgy Eddie Brock fan.
Yes, it is.
It's also okay to dislike Miles because being a legacy of Pete doesn't mean you have to transfer your emotions over to Miles. Miles has to gain favour based on his own merits and whether he's done that for you or not is your business.
I totally agree with you. You have the right to dislike Miles Morales as well.
im honestly surprised he inst the canon MCU spidey yet
MCU already adressed this.
Since they manage to reconnect Tobey's Spider-Man to Tom's Spider-Man (alongside Andrew's), they're hesitating between which one they'll add Miles in the next movie.
The plan was to add him in the Tom movies since Aaron Davis is there, but Tobey like the idea of becoming the mentor of a young Miles in an upcoming Spider-Man 4. So now Marvel who initially wanted Miles to be on the Tom Holland's dimension are now reconsidering making a "Spider-verse" relationship of Peter and Miles in a potential Raimi's Spider-Man 4.

Is this column that Miles is literally cucking Peter
Yes, but in that case you also have to appreciate Kenji Kobayashi, the nerdy teen who gets bitten by a radioactive spider, develops all of Peter's and Miles' powers but also the ability to control people and objects with his mind, who then takes Peter's costume and Miles' mask and says he made them himself and then fights crime in NY while calling himself Spider-Man.
Also in order for Kenji to get the much needed attention Peter and Miles die or frick off and retire in every movie and game and story so Kenji can be the only Spider-Man fighting the Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Venom, Lizard, etc, and interacting with Aunt May, MJ, Gwne, JJJ, Rio, Ganke. He also consistently beats up and lectures Peter and Miles on how to be Spider-Man and they kneel in respect and say "you are the real Spider-Man" every time they see him. You can either like both Kenji and Miles, or neither, you cannot pick and choose.
Didn't know about him. Is there Any way I can watch his comics, or maybe anime cartoons to learn about the character?
Sure, plug any piece of Miles media into an AI and tell it to replace Miles with Kenji
Meh, you were trolling. Shame on you.
There's Peni Parker anyway.
>describe Miles
>"you are trolling"
Yes the idea of Miles sure sounds like trolling, but he's an actually real thing that's being shoved into every single piece of Spider-Man media because Californians have scathing white guilt, amazing isn't it
Yep stop posting, you're getting worse.
>no argument
You already exposed yourself as a troll. No need to waste time and energy with people like you, thanks for the thread bumps I guess.
My advice is move on, and leave the thread. But since you're a troll and fishing for attention, attention you are clearly lacking, you probably won't and keep replying some nonsense past this post until someone falls for the bait.
>describe Miles
>"you're trolling"
Wow you admitted it again
No. Bendis makes money every time this homosexual is in something. So go frick yourself.
Miles is a pretty shit character though. Over a decade in and no good stories
I like Miles as an idea however my issue with him is how often writers feel the need to validate him as Spider-Man instead of just letting him be Spider-Man. I know Cinemaphile hates Bendis but I actually enjoy his initial Miles run. It's a really personal story about a young kid trying to live up to the legacy of what many consider the greatest hero. However over 10 years later it feels like 50% of Miles stories are just retreading the same shit. I get it's because of fans who hate his existence that feel the need to do it. But it's so fricking boring when a story has to interrupt itself half way through to have Miles prove himself. It's like the biggest thing I hated about ATSV.
>I get it's because of fans who hate his existence
You should never blame fans for the decisions of writers. If fans had any influence, OMD would be retconned out of existence, but instead the Peter misery-parade continues on-and-on. If fans haven't had an influence on OMD in 15+ years, they've had no effect on Miles.
Miles could have been interesting but they took the worst and most bland direction at every turn. His uncle? Instadead. Conflict with his dad over being spiderman? Goes nowhere. His mom? She's dead. Villains and friends? Just have peter's old shit. Not sure if he's really spiderman? Peter comes back, gives him a glowing review then fricks off to bang mj throughout the country. I didn't know much about Miles before reading the ultimate series but I was so disappointed without even really expecting anything. I don't know if he's gotten better since then but his debut is certainly enough to put off a lot of people. It's not a stretch to say at that point he had one of the worst starts for legacy character ever which is a shame for title as big as spiderman
Left needs to become Miles' canon hairstyle.
Miles is awful.
i prefer mila
He'd have been gone and forgotten ten years ago if he wasn't "Black Spider-Man". For God's sake, just like a black character that doesn't suck, instead of pretending this waste of space has any merit at all.
Right place right time
It's not like he was some happy accident. He was a marketing stunt that they stayed the course on until the market shifted
I want Bailey!
I know, it’s just that I don’t.
I know, I still hate him tough.
No, it’s not ok to support bendis
