Too much educational shit. They need to just watch some bad b-movies or something. I found myself muting the show.

80s B-movies have nudity, and that would get them permabanned by YouTube AI.

Yeah while we're on the subject of youtube's censorship guidelines, the bleeping everything out is kinda killing it for me too.

Wow can't wait for another video where Mike talks about Star Trek and Jay shits on the audience while Rich does another hundred 100 high pitched laughs. Everything sucks btw and you should buy our movie which was bad on purpose which we said was bad but we did it anyway.

So do we all agree that RLM peaked at Wheel episode 16?

I think 2017 in general was the peak of RLM, it's kinda been downhill ever since.

I feel similar. There were a couple of great episodes like the REM or Bullet Proof vest one since then, but they're so sparse it's not even funny. Compared to all the really great episodes and segment packed early on like Golden Road, Osteoporosis Dance, Miami Connection, Elves, Terrror in Beverly Hills just to name a few and the rest also held a pretty high bar, but the Surviving Edge Weapons was such a clear peak and outliar to me that it stands out. It even has a bit of a personal connection as I've seen the video before and when I've seen it on the wheel I was pretty hyped for them to watch it and it delivered way beyond my wildest imagination. Nowadays I don't even particularly feel like watching anymore.

Is that really a hipster opinion? I honestly wouldn't know. I just wish I could enjoy their stuff like I used to.

    >if we admit its a bad episode, then that makes it not a bad episode
RLM's disingenous life philosophy strikes again. Someone needs to wipe gen-X out already.

Why was the wide shot off-center? Why couldn't Mike be bothered to zoom-and-crop to center it in post? They capture at 4K and export in 1080p. There was more than enough video resolution to do digital zoom making the video look noticeably worse.

They just suck at composition and mise en scene, the VHS stacks is a good idea but then they totally frick it up by having 90% hidden behind the actors, if they just raised it a few feet so most of the shot is the tapes with the 'B O T W' at the top of the frame it would look infinitely better.

I've been watching these guys since around the 10th episode of HITB.
This was legitimately one of the first videos in that entire time that the crew, specifically Mike, felt off.
I feel like he's legitimately having a mental breakdown that his lifes accomplishment is some moronic youtube channel that he's more or less shackled to like a slave.

Mike's felt off for a while now to me. He used to be..funnier. It's hard to put my finger on it but he seems less self-assured than before.

After thousands of man-hours of RLM research, I have found the exact moment where Mike died on the inside.

I’ve noticed that for about a year, Rich has completely checked out. He knows the format is tired.
