It's an Illumination movie, if anyone expected anything less than total lore destruction for modern marketability to what studio executives think brain dead children like that ultimately does included a dated early 2010s song guaranteed to either be TIck Tock or Part Rock Anthem that all the characters dance to in the end after burning Bowser alive in a lava pit then you're actually deluded.
Nintendo doesn't care about you or their "honorabu" of their franchises, they just want money.

>Nintendo doesn't care
They literally told the Wreck-It Ralph team their Bowser was too short. That's how much they care. They're definitely eyeing this film under a microscope, but alas, their standards are too low.
Pop music peaked from the late 60s to late 70s and again from the late 80s to late 90s, but even then most of what was being played was pretty bad. Those were periods where actually interesting music managed to bubble up from the underground and get real airplay though. The consolidation of radio stations in the late 90s killed the momentum it had at the time, and by the 2000s it was on a rapid spiral down into pure shit.
Pop musics has never been good. The 2000s destroyed media.
I know that all basically all pop music is shit but still, that dance music that was popular during that time made being a kid in the 2010s more fun I think.
People were trying to focus on the positives even though things weren't going so hot. It was soulless but at least it had an optimistic tone to it. I don't even know how to describe pop music from around 2016 and later though, it's like filler music. It's not pessimistic per se but it sure as shit isn't optimistic either. It's just there.
It was mostly party music for druggies, nowadays most people are incels and femcels though, no more fun.
I honestly started listening to these songs again as guilty pleasures. They really capture that feeling of being young and optimistic that I genuinely miss sometimes.
I'm begging for them to do another collab that isn't soulless radio garbage. They've done so much great stuff individually and I hear none of it in this song. Granted, it was early in their careers, so maybe they've matured since then.
It's like the Peanuts movie or Harry Potter where the rights holder has an iron grip to veto any dumb shit the studio proposes. Unfortunately Nintendo doesn't see anything wrong with celebrity voice casts.
Keshabros...
It's fake, virgins.
Kek
Booo
KOOPA STOMPERS IN THE HOUSE TONIGHT

Yeah but I like misheard lyrics

ITS CYBERBULLYING TIME!
And morons take the bait. Every. Single. Time.
Why was pop music much more fun and energetic just a few years ago?
It was poptimist schlock, now it's just schlock. Pop music hasn't even been passable since 2007 and hasn't been good since 2000.

John K was right. The world went to shit after 1970.
I believe he specifically said post 1965 lol

Cinemaphile proves time and time again to be the most illiterate board.
it should've been Despacito. at least I can honestly believe that has nothing to do with Mario bros
>ITT: Cinemaphile gets duped by a piece of fan art made by a deviantart user
Heh
I actually checked Spotify hoping this was real. disappointed
homies saying it's fake, but deep down you know it would fit the film perfectly
why would I be mad it's just a fricking pop song.
JUST LISTEN TO SIA SHES THE LAST GOOD ARTIST OUT THERE
>no pop music used in trailers whatsoever
What kind of limiter did Nintendo put on them?
Dunno but it's working
It's like the Peanuts movie or Harry Potter where the rights holder has an iron grip to veto any dumb shit the studio proposes. Unfortunately Nintendo doesn't see anything wrong with celebrity voice casts.
Peanuts movie had a pop song in the trailer tho
it's been a thing since time immemorial anon, just because you don't know Vincent Pryce doesn't mean he isn't a celebrity cast
THEY ARE ADVERTISING TO LITTLE BABIES!
Guess they got you than Anon.
have these leaked yet? usually story leaks come from those kinda books.
they all come out after the movie
Smart, I'm surprised Disney hasn't done this. So many movie plot details leaked out early because of those books.
The usual site I get early ebook releases from hasn't added any of these. They must be being really careful to prevent these from getting out
Name 3 more LMFAO songs
Oh my goodness, those absolute mad men have actually done it!
Not too far out
Movie too, better than hearing that same ol' dramatic theme song cover
Rowling literally picked Snape's actor because he made her wet.
I had absolutely no idea Illumination employees had such incredible taste in music.
ngl, I'd love to see a Mario Bros. dance-off with Wario and Waluigi set to https://youtu.be/MZjAantupsA
