Mutant mayhem is almost as bad as the michael bay movie... the fact that its plot literally has them repeating part of the plot from the first one is just mind bogglingly moronic.

It's painfully mediocre, but the fact that it's meant to launch a whole new clusterfrick of TMNT media and it has so little going for it downgrades it from inoffensively middling to exhaustingly bad.
Mark my words, it'll get greenlit for a cartoon though. I don't see them not trying to push it.
I really don't get what is so hard about making a good april, given fans have repeatedly told them just to give us the 80s version again.
>Mark my words, it'll get greenlit for a cartoon though. I don't see them not trying to push it.
They already said they've locked in one for two seasons, and they want to do villain movies, but all of that happened before the movie was out and before the strikes started. Greenlit doesn't mean it can't be quietly shitcanned, but they've overcommitted to worse ideas before. Viacom/Paramount will probably want to get something on the air again, because they badly want the TMNT to be a nice easy money maker for them and that requires having something on streaming and tv to promote the merch on store shelves.
If the strike continues on it's feasible they could cancel the project and blame it on the strike. If it doesn't then I expect them to do the one or two seasons.
I'm praying for it to happen and viacom has to sell off the rights to TMNT and just call it quits, but I fear who else could possibly scoop it up and how much worse it could be. Either way, the longer the strikes goes on, the more they're going to have to star canceling projects and seriously restructuring their future plans, because mid-budget movies that struggle to break even aren't going to cut it and aren't going to get reinvested in.
ATSV just repeats the same plot from NWH but the pretty colors means manchildren eat them up
As bas as the Michael Bay's movies were at least April was hot
>As bas as the Michael Bay's movies were at least April was hot
Yeh
Gotta always hide that big toe thumb, otherwise the illusion is broken.
Viacom will still get its money from nostalgia-bait TMNT 87' merch. They've already started pumping out cross-promotions, re-airing old episodes, and re-making old action figures for autismo collectors. They'll manage to recoup some losses and until they can figure out something more profitable, they'll keep Rogen and Rowe around to smash action figures together on TV.
Delete-gay is still at it, I see.
Based
Cringe
Just watched it last night, and her character wasn't bad. She just needs a summer makeover. Lose some weight, get a new hairdo, and ditch the hipster 50's glasses.
Give her a different name, too. Only reason she even had an interest in journalism was so the finale could have an excuse for every New Yorker to go from
>KILL THE FREAKS REEEEEEEEE
to
>AYYY YO HELP THOSE WONDERFUL LITTLE TURTLES BECAUSE THEY'RE HEROES AND WE LOVE THEM
Because the convenient giant 24/7 newscast that plays in Times Square told them the mutants are good guys.
>Because the convenient giant 24/7 newscast that plays in Times Square told them the mutants are good guys.
I mean, that's pretty realistic.
Pretty sure there's just the ABC studio building, not live news feeds on every giant screen with speakers blaring.
Nah, I meant that you can make Americans support literally anyone by using mainstream media. Times Square screen is just a convenient metaphor for that.
Ah, that's a fair point. Still think it was clumsily handled, but I also think the "KILL THE RAT MAN" scene was fricking moronic, too.
You don't need to repost this shit in every thread. We've all seen it.
what's funny to me is that they want diversity and representation, but didn't have an overweight voice actress. they still hired an adorable voice actress with a pleasant voice because they aren't actually committed to representation
Why are there markings and scratches that don’t make sense? It makes them look dirty. Even the milk in OP’s image looks dirty.
Yes, it is
Not only shit but souless too
EL OH EL
I'm suddenly reminded of the DMC reboot's art director and nu-Dante.
Would the left one. Ah, who am I kidding, I would've even the right one if she had good personality. I'm a broken man.
They are literally the exact same person
Why do people keep posting this? The girl on the bottom is saying how cool it is she looks like her and has nothing to do with the tweet above
Trying to bait homosexuals from /misc/ into thinking it was a self insert I'd guess, despite the tweet coming from a white guy named James.
Are they even "teenage" anymore?
They look like they're ten.
do you even know what teenagers look like
>that COVID joke
Jesus
Oh boy, what did they say?
I really liked it.
Then good for you? You don’t need the approval of anonymous people on the internet for you to enjoy something.
I'm not seeking approval. I just wanted to share my two cents.
Well you should have more than two cents you broke nig.
Frick off.
Polish Wingnut voice is pure mutant sex
>Rzut bombelkiem
you're still crying about this movie? pathetic.
it's a certified hit, move on.
The Michael Bay films were aimed at 27-year olds with the intellect of Beavis and Butt-Head. This is aimed at 6-10 year olds.
There’s a live action filmed aimed at fans since one was aimed at children moron
>Mutant ninja turtles wanting to be juwt wike nowmaw huwman kiwds
The frick was that?
Also nice message there about society accepting you only after proving yourself to them in some exaggerated fashion.
It wasn't that bad.
I liked the animation and art design.
Worst part was the jokes (every single one fell flat)
I thought actually having Turtles act like teenagers was a good idea.
>I thought actually having Turtles act like teenagers was a good idea.
In what way? Everyone keeps saying this, but I'm not seeing it. When they're all jumping around and talking over each other and spazzing out over little things, they feel more like 10 year olds, and when they're being socially awkward, it's more like the stereotypical TV writing. Less "real teens", more "Big Bang Theory theory nerds trying to talk to girls"
When the action starts, they're right back to moving with confidence. Jumping and flipping and fighting for the rest of the movie with a dash of typical quippy dialog and one-liners that have been common in TMNT since the first Mirage issue.
The animation was pretty neat.
I loved the villain.
Everything else was so, so bad. Terrible writing, terrible jokes, none of the turtles felt likable.
I bet this movie was good for kids. I probably would have liked it if I were 10. Too bad I'm not. Oh well.
Man, glad I didn't get into animation. Imagine pouring your heart and soul into something only to have a lazy bum like seth rogen half-ass write it and some forced SJW self inserts completely wreck it.
Animation is the most impressive art form ever created by man. Too bad the perception of it is that it's completely worthless and disposable and only good for entertaining dumb children and autistic adults.
Too bad the animation sucked for this movie. Jerky and skips frames.
It barely is. The framerate is higher than in SpiderVerse and is consistent throughout the film. It looks good and compliments the artstyle.
I overall don't understand the hate for Spiderverse inspired stuff. There's much more room in it to develop something new. Both this and Puss and Boots 2 are inspired by SpiderVerse but are also different enough to be quite original. The overall aesthetic in Mayhem is completely different. Surprisingly melancholic in tone too.
Well, this movie was made for dumb children and autistic adults. I don't know what quality animation you were expecting out of it.
>Rise's movie was a better done version of the 2nd bay movie
>Rogen's movie is a slightly improved version than the 1st bay movie
Kinda funny, not gonna lie
Can't slay the Bay.
Dude... Let the kids have their time, this still looks infinitely better than the 90s when I was a kid...They look like teenagers this time at least
Damn shame it's a painfully average movie and kids deserve better than Seth Rogen's masturbatory shlock.
