It was bad and forgettable. Raimi's directorial flair only evident in a couple scenes, otherwise same old assembly line slop.
>Raimi's directorial flair only evident in a couple scenes
Why do people act like Raimi is all wacky camera angles all the time? Look at his Spider-Man movies, they're like 80% conventional blocking and staging.
That's not really what people mean when they say that. MoM is completely devoid of personality for like 90% of the movie, completely indiscernible from most other Marvel trash outside of the wizard fight near the end and Strange's awesome skeleton cape, both of which felt VERY Raimi without relying on wacky camera angles.
Most of the movie is just dull and the plot doesn't make much sense without having seen WandaVision and even if you have, it's a jarring change of character for Wanda after she gave up the illusion in WandaVision.
>most other Marvel trash
Sounds like you are already biased against it.
I was a fan until post-endgame. Everything after Endgame except Guardians 3 has been slop unfortunately. I don't want these movies to be 'Marvel Trash' but unfortunately that's all they are now. Modern Marvel films are exactly the embodiment of everything they used to be wrongly mocked for.
That's a natural consequence of having watched the films.
Yea no, that's called prejudice look it up
It's called pattern recognition.
>Raimi is all wacky camera angles all the time
Oh, that's not that I implied at all. Please don't put words in my mouth.
Then be clear about your meaning, you sensitive git.
You're a fricking moron.
it was mostly bad but fun at times. they should hire competent writers.
>Reed: "Alright Wanda, since you just want to be a mother, I'm going to use my stretchy penis to impregnate you."
>Wanda: "What penis?"
>Reed:
This movie wasn't crazy enough to call itself "Multiverse of Madness".
>It features the Multiverse
>Main villain is mad
I always did.
If you put it in mute, sure, it's a fun movie with great visuals.
The actual writing and characters are atrocious. Nothing makes any sense and everyone's an idiot. Things just happen because the script says it has to, it doesn't align up with the character's previous appearances and nothing of interest is done with the world or heroes in it. Notice how absolutely nobody remembers this version of America Chavez, not even fans of the movie talk about it, just about Wanda and Strange. That's because everything about that is absolutely worthless. The Illuminati scene is discussed a lot, but that's the least of this movie's many dumb scenes.
It's just a dumb stupid movie that takes itself too seriously and ends up embarrassing itself. Not having dogshit cinematography and visuals isn't a feat, it's the bare minimum, which most MCU fails to achieve.
>Nothing makes any sense and everyone's an idiot.
Characters not doing what you want them to do doesn't make them idiots.
No they're right. It's just bouncing from scene to scene and plot beat to plot beat bc the nonsensical plot demands it, a checklist. Not due to any grounded character choices or motivations.
Perhaps the same could be said of all movies.
