When I had short hair the process was:
- Shower
- Dry head with one swipe of the towel
- Done.
Everytime my hair starts getting long I don't know what to do with it to make it look non-moronic so I get it cut and deal with the situation again in 9-10 months.
Wrong. Learning to proficiently cut one's own hair, not an easy thing mind you, is most rewarding of all. Some of the best hair cuts I ever had were the ones I performed on myself. The least that is required I'd say is a trimmer with various guards, good pair of grooming scissors), and a hand mirror. It helps if you have any artistic talent but regardless if you're resolute you will get better and better at it.

Part 4 is one of the top favorites because by that time the series established what is the BEST PRIME slasher formula, and you could say Part 4 honed in on the more distinct magic and overall aesthetics, the spirit, of the Friday 13th series in particular. They had refined it since Part 1. I'm very partial to Part 2 which was a refinement of Part 1. Part 3, my top favorite, was further hybridization with a strong element of camp. Mostly everyone agrees there was a step down, an obvious stagnation overall, when Part 5 came along.
