Is the anti-TV tape on-line for me to watch? My wife don't even speak English and even she undertood that the church lady is basically a living nightmare c**t.
Yay, another video where they watch low budget B movies, then sit around a table and discuss how bad they are... for an hour... >would rather watch 6 hours of low budget garbage in their smelly movie room than sit for 2 hours in a air conditioned movie theatre and watch a relevant movie to review

Honestly he is a perfect fit, an old busted critic that never broke into creating anything truly substantial who is a bitter jaded c**t, he’s perfect for their little group.
The problem is that Mike is already fulfilling the (actually) bitter c**t quota at the moment, Croshaw is a testy bitter little b***h WAY too often, which would ruin many episodes (just watch "Lets drown out" with him and other guy, Croshaw has so many b***hy comments and weird hissy-fits for no reason)

Is it 2005? Jesus Christ.
is yahtzee in this one
I very much doubt RLM would ever bring him on. Why not bring on EVERY z-list e-celeb while we're at it? Why not have JonTron? Kr1tical? Chris Chan? Having Doug Walker up there would be like going full circle.
But IF somehow Yahtzee makes it into a BotW episode, it'll be their worst episode ever (even worse than this one). Yahtzee is a complete sperg in front of cameras.
i'd refuse to watch it like i refused to watch patton oswalt
i also refuse to rewatch the first ken lasbanski episode, it's so awkward

The only RLM "star" guest that ever really worked is the Home Alone kid
Because the only reason to hate a bunch of inoffensive old drunkard schlubs who like kinos is if you have some sort of deluded obsessive "da israelites did this!" /misc/ worldview where you see everything as a plot against you and interpret a couple jokes ragging on trump as making RLM le brainwashed libtards
They've been doing this show for a decade now and Josh has been a regular the entire time, starting at the very first episode. How can someone still be surprised or upset when he shows up? Jesus Christ.
I'm watching old classic episodes, like literally within the first dozen, and Jay is FREAKING OUT because a safety video plays "jazz for the black family, latin music for the mexican family". Like this is literally unacceptable "racism" for Jay and aidsmoby.
Welcome to RLM threads on Cinemaphile, where reality doesn't matter and there's a whole elaborate drama going on under the surface of every RLM video that only the psychologists on Cinemaphile can truly understand
>any non-existent irl friends
I have a few irl friends but I still prefer RLM to them. I can't banter with my friends, any attempt I make at an RLM-esque banter joke is met "no, actually blah blah blah", there's never any "yes, and", just a stone wall. God I hate them.
I can banter with my friends, the problem is that I only have one left so it's friend, not friends. Sucks getting older and drifting apart from your childhood friends. I'd need one more friend, that would be enough
Do you know that youtube shows you of your video's views, where people click through from? Like a pie graph of 40% from youtube itself, 20% from a reddit link etc. They fricking know they get big views here
what the frick are you talking about saying you didn't know but then trying to one-up me with some google image? if you click on 'external' it breaks down into every unique domain and you can see that you got 40k views from Cinemaphile.org and 20k from Cinemaphile, right down to the sites that you got one single view from.

Haven't watched a single new video with him in it for the past two years. Never will watch one with him in it again. Ever since he injected his moron politics into a silly video about bad movies.
Joshsisters, I have finally decided to become a full on Wizard contrarian (Wiztrarian). I have reached the point where it is now genuinely more entertaining to watch the malding haters seethe over him than to actively dislike him.
Jay is the problem. He ruins everything. I can still listen to israelite Cucklassa but Jay is just fricking insufferable. Listen to the Matrix HitB and you'll see what I mean. That stupid fricking giggle and constantly saying dumb shit related to nothing. Get him off the frickin show.
>israelite Cucklassa
There's something deeply, deeply wrong with the shill's plan to fit in when Mike "Black personbeater" Stoklasa is the name he chooses to attack. Some outsiders just desperately believe that if they push the "jew" button they'll get Cinemaphile to like them cause "uh Cinemaphile hates israelites I guess?". Really shows them how much they respect your intelligence as individuals, Cinemaphile. Then they go and embarrass themselves like this.
>makes a living trashing on other people's work >Rides on the coattails of filmmakers more talented than them >acts smug and superior yet has only created trash comedy hidden behind 'it's bad on purpose'

Jay sounds like he's permanently stuck on sarcasm mode and his entire sense of comedy is to take whatever Mike or Rich just said and then repeat it in a rhetorical question with a sarcastic tone. It's very clear Rich has no idea about anything whatsoever beyond a very basic bare-bones of any franchise or IP- I think he's legitimately too busy working and doing construction stuff to be half the nerd the audience wants him to be. Since S1 of Star Trek Picard, Mike is lethargic and constantly tired and mumbles all the time and clearly wants to kill himself.

>by the virtue of being chill
Until someone does a Racism. >OH MY GOD MARJABEL THE MANNERS LADY ONLY HAD THREE CHILDREN OF COLOR AT HER DINNER TABLE! RACIST OLD b***h!
Jay would not stop harping on it all episode. He was the one constantly bringing up the race of the children and how Marjabel (or however you spell it) was a horrible old racist woman.
The only time Mike ever initiated racial shit was in Honorable Men where he kept saying "white police hero shoots black man in convenience store"

BOTW is tired, you can only go "haha bad B movie is bad" and overreact for the camera so many times. While on HITB they're just whatever and jaded now, and they literally make a joke in the last one about shows beating a dead horse and refer to themselves.
Creatively they haven't done anything new in ages and are stuck running through the motions with shows that have already run its course, cause it's all they have left. You can only repackage "guys talk about movies" as new "content" so many times.

I think back in 2018 or 2019 they had this HitB(?) episode where they veered off topic and spent half the episode just talking about how streaming is killing movies or whatever and how they see all the upcoming releases and just want to die. That felt like the last time Mike and Jay were actually sincere.
They really tipped their hand during the COVID era episodes because they kept trying to project "Business as usual! We're still having fun here at RLMland!" while all their material has dried up and had no guests. It felt like going through the motions. So now whenever they do this "forced fun" thing, it's instantly recognizable.
>t-they're still having fun! I still have s-so much fun laughing it up with my fake internet friends!
Either you see it or you don't. Personally I just find their schtick overdone. Their new stuff is just not funny like their old vids.

Well if you don't like them anymore, you could always just stop watching them. But no, it's better to continue to watch and then pretend there's some deep seeded misery and anger between all of them that only you can see and post about it on Cinemaphile. That's a very normal thing to do.
I don't think it's even misery (and I never said anything about "anger", that's the ACTUAL Cinemaphiletard projection you keep alluding to). They're just tired of doing BotW, and it comes off in the quality of the episodes.

Yup. The problem is that Mike is the glue that keeps this whole thing together, the load bearing beam of the whole show. That's at least true for BotW and the gimmick episodes, less true for the more interest-focused ones like re:view, Mike isn't strictly necessary there. But as soon as Mike is gone from the botw-episode (or when he's just not trying at all and seems to resent being there, like in this episode), it just falls apart.
Also, I think Rich and Bald should retry pre-rec, but they should try to rope in a third member. Maybe beardfat, maybe Jay, it doesn't really matter, but the dynamic just wasn't good enough with just Rich and Bald, they didn't play off each other well.

I wanted to like pre-rec, I play a lot of games, but the dynamic was just so bad. The episodes with Jay was good, but he didn't seem that interested, that's why I think maybe they could rope Beardfat into it. They just need another guy in there to shake things up a bit, provide more discussion and reactions during the streams.

Was watching an early BOTW episode and the watched a tape with a disappointing ending and Rich said "just like Mass Effect 3" and you could SEE the precise moment a wince of pain rippled across Mike's face for a split second. Just an instant of pure, concentrated cringe.

i doubt mike knows what mass effect 3 is. even with context clues figuring its rich he's talking about a game, maybe it's an obscure movie series rich has never talked about.

That's the joke. Mike could not possibly care less what a mass effect 3 is other than the obvious cursory recognition that it's a video game title. Rich bringing up a video game causes him physical pain.
Imagine if someone were to talk about anime in front of him.
I have them on in the background while I'm doing other stuff (programming, working out, etc), and posting about it here when there's something of note to say (which is rarely, but in this case I had to check here if other people agreed that this episode in particular was extremely low energy and bad)

Yup, I agree. The recent Nightmare on elmstreet video was a good watch, clearly better than this BoTW-video. Sometimes Mike just comes off as a c**t, I haven't seen it much before, but recently he seems to veer into bully-territory instead of friendly-teasing-territory more often. Maybe he's having some midlife crisis or getting low on testosterone as he ages
>It's another several-minute long anti-comedy intro where Mike gets to indulge his worst impulses because everyone is too terrified of his violent impulses to tell him not to.
I wouldn't be shocked if people had sent them gore or other shit like that over the years, disguised as spines or other things. They mentioned in their archive video that Rich looks over everything very quickly to see what it is so that kind of stuff probably gets weeded out.
In fairness he doesn't do any editing which takes hours. And the number of times Jay has had to edit star trek vids I would say the "grunt work" is pretty even.
But yeah he's the stereotypical workhorse of the three no doubt.
He probably didn't have much to begin with, and if he wears pants with tight legs, the rubbing probably took a bunch. My dad is the same, almost no leg hair cause he thinks it's still the 70s and wears low waisted tight pants. I have plenty of leg hair and never wear tight anything

This is what is known in psychological circles as projection. What we have to remember is that autistic people literally have no concept of the theory of mind; they lack the cognitive "hardware" so to speak to empathize with others, so in order to be functional in society they have to construct a mental simulation. They emulate how to look like a person who empathizes with others. They carefully use trial and error to make the reactions and responses they think would be appropriate to social stimuli. Inside, they don't really understand. It takes the mental energy of playing a chess match for them to carry on a basic conversation with others.

He literally has aspergers. I know words like "autism" and "sperg" have become punctuation over the years here but he is genuinely the kind of person who is uncapable of getting the joke that they're kidding when they groan about how badly they don't want to watch bad VHS tapes. He doesn't understand "bits" like that. He can only physically comprehend things that are explicitly said out loud to him, and he believes everything that is said must be someone's honest thoughts. These people have very difficult lives ahead of them and are often taken advantage of.
These guys could've been like corridor crew, making funny videos and improving their skills. Instead they just keep doing the same thing over and over, and obviously don't enjoy it ever since the woman left. They lost their youthful energy around then.
>These guys could've been like corridor crew
You mean having 75% of their videos be shilling for advertisers and promoting their own website and the remaining 25% of the videos being them overreacting to boring bullshit?
What the frick was wrong with Mike in this episode. All he does is ramble in an aggressive manner, and that opening skit was truly terrible, first time I've ever skipped a segment of RLM on first watch. Mike seems like he's done, he seems angry to even be there.
>This is just a cynical scam for men who like guns to force their poor wives to learn about them! >This religious lady trying to make the puppet be productive is an evil, judgmental b***h who just wants his fricking money!
The actress in "A womans guide to firearms" is named Lee Purcell. She seems to have been nude plenty of times on film, possibly even been pictured fully nude, pussy spread, in vintage 70's porn mags. The career checks out, she's was very active in media in the 70's and 80's, but I can't visually confirm that it's her even if the name is correct. Google "Lee Purcell nude" and there's tons of stuff
I can't recognize her in any of the photos, but I have nothing to go on. Someone better than me needs to finish this investigation, I just started it but I am not competent enough to provide answers

Fucl Liz. I wanna give Slick some DVDs of gore and fun.
>do not believe anyone would research and find stuff like this
It wasn't "research". The names of the people behind the tape are right there: Dale and Liz VonSeggan.
I just typed that. Barely any results on Google, and some videos on Youtube. Sadly, none of them is the Slick video.
I think the only clips of Slick we can get are from the RLM episode. I wanna see more of Slick.
>intro ends >beardfat mcwizard homosexual >dislike, closed the window, immediately come to Cinemaphile to complain
i guess that's another I'm not watching.
He's literally me. I also have a fat overconfident friend, who's taller than me, drinks more than me, fricks with every girl he sees and keeps on teasing me about shit while all I do is change my body weight and hair length.
With Mike Stoklasa, he became worse and worse. Even people who like RLM get annoyed with Mike (even those that want to have sex with him). Mike’s opinions and taste have become more and more terrible, to the point it feels like he has become more and more dumb. It is made worse by him constantly trying to virtues signal. And now the reading off paper of reviews and going on long tangents on how he would have made the movie make him a slog to listen to. Not to mention him defending Nepo babies and sucking off Hollywood. It is to the point that Jack is less annoying than Mike.
Post-Covid Red Letter Media just isn’t as good as Prime Red Letter Media.
Kind of agree. I think Mike is easily the strongest member when he's at his best, but recently he just seems more and more like an angry belligerent drunk. If Mike keeps performing this terribly (or leaves the show) the entire house of cards that is RLM will come falling down
Why does anyone still watch RLM? They had halcyon moments ("Surviving Edged Weapons" comes to mind), but now they're just a sad bunch of losers desperately trying to differentiate themselves from Collider-like goyslop slurpers.
Without even watching I know Mike interrupted someone by throwing a prop, to which everybody nervously laughed.
In my case it's intertia. I'm constantly in need of new videos/podcasts to have on when biking to work or exercising. They occasionally still have good episodes, but most are average and some (like this one) are shit
What the frick is the matter with Mike honestly. He's made a golden goose of a show, he gets to spend his time coming up with ideas and fricking around with his friends, and what does he do? Does he spend his time exercising, reading, watching new media he enjoys, eating healthily now that he has the time and money to do so, see new places etc etc? NO. Does he (seem to) sit in his fricking chair all day long drinking booze, growing fatter, dumber and more bitter with every passing moment? Seemingly YES.
Rich gets a pass because he seems to at least be a jolly fat guy that enjoys things and does things he likes
Even though they have a very healthy Patreon6, and also they don't really vote for a "best of the worst" at the end of each episode, Patton Oswalt killed his wife. Does he molesta his daughter? I'm not sure. Probably not, but he killed his wife.
The Patton Oswalt episode is the only one I will never watch under any circumstances. I'd rather go on a date with Max Landis than watch that pile of human garbage.
There is zero guests who are more annoying than Max Landis. Frick you for even insinuating the possibility. I mean, I fricking hate Patton too, but he's at least decent at conversation when he's not talking about killing his wife.
>There is zero guests who are more annoying than Max Landis. Frick you for even insinuating the possibility.
Nah. Max was cringey, but in an understandable, ultimately endearing way. He got a little taste of wholesome jaded midwestern schlub life and it was like an ice bucket challenge after growing up in pretentious stuck-up-its-ass rapemewood, CA.
Endearing is the last word I'd use to describe Max Landis. The dude jerk offd himself throughout the entire episode. Truly one of the most obnoxious egos to ever be filmed on camera. And the worst part is that Mike enabled him, so it never stopped.
Patton at least had the self-awareness to keep his annoying narcissistic traits off the episode, and mostly on his instagram/twitter.
>Endearing is the last word I'd use to describe Max Landis. The dude jerk offd himself throughout the entire episode.
It really sounds like you had no ability to empathize with the plight of the protagonist at all. Yes, he started out acting exactly like a stuck-up L.A. personality ego cultist. Then as time wore on he started to relax and cease to be afraid to share his genuine excitement and delight, to the point he wasn't even afraid to embarrass himself anymore. It's called a character arc, anon.
?? bruhh
it was hilarious, this was mike as his PEAK derangement. The entire climax of him being physically unable to string words together was hilarious
Mike's performance was the single worst thing about it, though. The guy isn't even being funny, there are no jokes there anymore. He's literally just acting like a drunk moron.
Haha sorry you didn't have fun! musta sucked watching 74 minutes of something that made you unhappy lol
maybe if you hang out in this thread watching other people be happy, you'll start being happy too?
I wasn't "made unhappy" by watching it, what are you babbling about? I enjoy discussing a show that I ultimately like, even though this particular episode was godawful and the show in general seems to be sliding downwards in quality

one chick posing for a picture is just advertising for the alienating amount of obese concealed carriers to show up
Oh you absolute fricking moron. So you want me to spam hundreds of pictures of women at gun shows now, huh? Is that what you want? Cause that's what you're asking for, homosexual. You REALLY thought you could post something that dumb and it wouldn't bite back?
i'm saying they're arm candy to entice morons to go to "gun shows". They're mannequins some guys hang clothes and guns on, not girls into guns. It's a photoshoot for them
The pic posted is obviously a model. You are a FRICKING moron if you think gun shows aren't full of gun nut wives and girlfriends buying their own weapons. There are literal ladies-only gun clubs that show up to these things. Have you even fricking been to one? (No, you have not)
I fricking hate beardfat so much bros. Whenever i see him i recognize myself. Just like him i can never quite fit in in the groups despite trying my best. Like, he's so desperate for approval with each worde he says, he tried being the angry guy in the past and he didn't fit in, he tries being super conformative now and doesn't fit in. >C-can i p-pick surviving edged weapons for best of the w-worst >You guys r-remember it r-right? They still joke about it on reddit >Oh, i can't, but Rich can, i am so not angry with this, just letting you guys, know, haha
I don't really get the feeling that he doesn't fit and and actually desperately wants to fit in. I mean, he doesn't fit in, that's true, but he does seem to just enjoy being himself and do the things he likes, he doesn't seem to give a frick. I have nothing against him.
>beardfat episode
no thank you
although It's still better than the moron Tim
Frick you don't be shittin on my boy Tim. He's the best autistic/possibly gay man on that show other than Jay.
Tim should drink harder.
he would literally die
You are homosexual. The Wizard is cool.
Tim is for AIDS, though. I agree there.

Dead channel.
>their channel is dead because they just uploaded a new episode of their most popular and most viewed series
You can't even be subtle with your contrarianism huh?
It is annoying that they pretty much stopped reviewing new movies. Half in the bag was always king to me
I wonder if they're even gonna review Oppenheimer
>nukes your metalbolic system
based take. hitb and re:view are far superior to botw
>they pretty much stopped reviewing new movies
Guardians of the Galaxy 3
Evil Dead Rise
Cocaine Bear
None of these were new movies when they reviewed them?
I agree, I hate that they used corona as an excuse to never watch anything that isn't on streaming.
can anyone suggest any good best of the worst? Some were 10/10 while most put me to sleep
Dr. Scientist is the most unfunny boring garbage Mike has ever conjured.

Is it 2005? Jesus Christ.
AIDSmoby moved to Escapist
Rich was photographed hanging out with Croshaw
Honestly he is a perfect fit, an old busted critic that never broke into creating anything truly substantial who is a bitter jaded c**t, he’s perfect for their little group.
The problem is that Mike is already fulfilling the (actually) bitter c**t quota at the moment, Croshaw is a testy bitter little b***h WAY too often, which would ruin many episodes (just watch "Lets drown out" with him and other guy, Croshaw has so many b***hy comments and weird hissy-fits for no reason)
Yahtzee is a complete sperg in front of cameras.
i'd refuse to watch it like i refused to watch patton oswalt
i also refuse to rewatch the first ken lasbanski episode, it's so awkward
i was always a james rolfe guy, couldn't stand how nostalgia critic was basically playing himself. very disingenuous and not "funny" or "epic" like he thought he was
The only RLM "star" guest that ever really worked is the Home Alone kid
it's okay, you can spell it. macaulay culkin
>Chris Chan
One time when I was really really high I somehow mixed up youtube videos and thought Mr Plinkett was reviewing Chris Chan's life
>Yahtzee is a complete sperg in front of cameras

trans rights and slava ukraine rlm homies!
Why the anti-rlm posters all obsessed by the culture wars?
Because the only reason to hate a bunch of inoffensive old drunkard schlubs who like kinos is if you have some sort of deluded obsessive "da israelites did this!" /misc/ worldview where you see everything as a plot against you and interpret a couple jokes ragging on trump as making RLM le brainwashed libtards
>It's a Josh episode
They've been doing this show for a decade now and Josh has been a regular the entire time, starting at the very first episode. How can someone still be surprised or upset when he shows up? Jesus Christ.
Don't care. Still hate Josh. Still hate Lyle. And I will never change.
Josh was good in the last BotW.
He was the one making sexist jokes while Jay squirmed uncomfortably.
I'm watching old classic episodes, like literally within the first dozen, and Jay is FREAKING OUT because a safety video plays "jazz for the black family, latin music for the mexican family". Like this is literally unacceptable "racism" for Jay and aidsmoby.
>Rewatch that episode
>"Freaking out" is just laughing his ass off because its hilarious that they're that on-the-nose with the music choices
Welcome to RLM threads on Cinemaphile, where reality doesn't matter and there's a whole elaborate drama going on under the surface of every RLM video that only the psychologists on Cinemaphile can truly understand
If you knew that the rumors had been verified you wouldn't be saying this.
>it's RACIST RACIST RACIST
They literally can't stop saying RACIST.
>he’s a balding white dude, of course he’s a child molester
Shut the frick up mike
Does he know something about rich and josh
>Bad video tapes are bad and shouldn't be watched
Wew
I'll never forgive them for not featuring "The Wizard" in every episode of all of their shows.
i prefer them over my bf, my family and any non-existent irl friends
there i said it
Watching RLM counts as having friends.
>any non-existent irl friends
I have a few irl friends but I still prefer RLM to them. I can't banter with my friends, any attempt I make at an RLM-esque banter joke is met "no, actually blah blah blah", there's never any "yes, and", just a stone wall. God I hate them.
I can banter with my friends, the problem is that I only have one left so it's friend, not friends. Sucks getting older and drifting apart from your childhood friends. I'd need one more friend, that would be enough
I have irl friends i've known since we were 12, most of us have kids now and keep in touch over d*sc*rd (lol) and we still enjoy RLM together
Do you know that youtube shows you of your video's views, where people click through from? Like a pie graph of 40% from youtube itself, 20% from a reddit link etc. They fricking know they get big views here
>dat delusion
I didn't
>external
wow it's fricking nothing (if you were implying you can somehow glance than Cinemaphile generates significant volume)
what the frick are you talking about saying you didn't know but then trying to one-up me with some google image? if you click on 'external' it breaks down into every unique domain and you can see that you got 40k views from Cinemaphile.org and 20k from Cinemaphile, right down to the sites that you got one single view from.

You'll watch it and be thankful. Josh is likable and calm.

Is that Wizard and Dr. Demento?
Joshsisters, I have finally decided to become a full on Wizard contrarian (Wiztrarian). I have reached the point where it is now genuinely more entertaining to watch the malding haters seethe over him than to actively dislike him.
>Mike calling Jay a limp wriisted, non-Masculine man
>Telling him to shut up in all new vids
Rlm bros, the break up is unavoidable at this point
>Mike keeps gaining weight
RLMbros, I'm worried.
>I take jokes very seriously
Let me guess, your school "friends" were "joking" about you, and only you, all the time and didn't let you "joke" back
>First edit Mike does in years
>Calls Jay a homosexual in it
It's so, so Fricking over
edit Mike does in years
If you don't count the literally hundreds of episodes he's edited in the last few years I guess.
Name all of them
During the trial it came out in discovery that since 2017, both Mike and Jay farm out the editing to a company in Mauritania.
Then they go and embarrass themselves like this.
>makes a living trashing on other people's work
>Rides on the coattails of filmmakers more talented than them
>acts smug and superior yet has only created trash comedy hidden behind 'it's bad on purpose'
why do you worship these parasite hacks
oh my goodness imagine actually being mentally unbalanced to not only type all that out but to actually make that image lol
is this what people do when they can't get girlfriends
Jay sounds like he's permanently stuck on sarcasm mode and his entire sense of comedy is to take whatever Mike or Rich just said and then repeat it in a rhetorical question with a sarcastic tone. It's very clear Rich has no idea about anything whatsoever beyond a very basic bare-bones of any franchise or IP- I think he's legitimately too busy working and doing construction stuff to be half the nerd the audience wants him to be. Since S1 of Star Trek Picard, Mike is lethargic and constantly tired and mumbles all the time and clearly wants to kill himself.
Jay is the best one by the virtue of being chill
>by the virtue of being chill
Until someone does a Racism.
>OH MY GOD MARJABEL THE MANNERS LADY ONLY HAD THREE CHILDREN OF COLOR AT HER DINNER TABLE! RACIST OLD b***h!
That's Mike's words
Jay would not stop harping on it all episode. He was the one constantly bringing up the race of the children and how Marjabel (or however you spell it) was a horrible old racist woman.
The only time Mike ever initiated racial shit was in Honorable Men where he kept saying "white police hero shoots black man in convenience store"
Slick deserves better

Icky ick, did you just see that!?
Now THIS is outdated, haha!
Drunk confirmed for mike
So this channel is on life support, right? I mean their last attempt at making something flopped, they’re sick of doing HITB, and are stuck milking BOTW which has also grown tired but is their most popular series.
If that's the headcanon you want to invent this week, go for it.
Who said anything about capeshit?
It's true. They should pivot to video games.
>IF RLM ARE TIRED OF REVIEWING CAPESHIT ON HALF IN THE BAG, WHY DON'T THEY JUST STOP?
>RLM stop reviewing capeshit on Half in the Bag
>WHY DON'T THEY REVIEW CAPESHIT ANYMORE ON HALF IN THE BAG OMG THEY'RE SO LAZY
you know its different ppl posting right
Yep. This episode was shit and the entire thing is just sad at this point. Literally AVGN tier now.
So now whenever they do this "forced fun" thing, it's instantly recognizable.
>t-they're just pretending to enjoy life
Go make some real friends, weirdo.
>t-they're still having fun! I still have s-so much fun laughing it up with my fake internet friends!
Either you see it or you don't. Personally I just find their schtick overdone. Their new stuff is just not funny like their old vids.
>>t-they're still having fun! I still have s-so much fun laughing it up with my fake internet friends!
>Either you see it or you don't. Personally I just find their schtick overdone. Their new stuff is just not funny like their old vids.
This is an actual post typed by a person on Cinemaphile that doesn't think it looks incredibly embarrassing.
You want them to have the same trajectory of James Rolfe so bad that you're just pretending it's there when it really isn't. Fricking weird behavior.
It is mostly Mike Stoklasa who seems bored. Jay and everyone else seem to be having fun.
>Maybe beardfat, maybe Jay,
I think the playlist with Jay is the most popular one. Anyways, Mike and Jay are the draw.
I wanted to like pre-rec, I play a lot of games, but the dynamic was just so bad. The episodes with Jay was good, but he didn't seem that interested, that's why I think maybe they could rope Beardfat into it. They just need another guy in there to shake things up a bit, provide more discussion and reactions during the streams.
yeah stick to the pre-rectums with mike or jay
>Also, I think Rich and Bald should retry pre-rec, but they should try to rope in a third member.
But Rich hated every game that wasn't from his childhood and Jack just laughed.
The only time they did anything remotely entertaining was when Rich was excited for Jack to struggle through Sierra adventure games
That's why they need a third guy so that there can still be a discussion about something when Rich gets too into the game or when Jack just starts to read the chat and chuckle by himself for an hour
>games
>"forced fun"
Exactly the issue I have with many of the recent episodes.
Yep. It's hard to properly articulate so autistic fanboys like
struggle to see it, but they are grown men pushing 50 still doing stuff that would better fit guys in their 20's.
I'd respect them more if they just drop all the "funny" series like BotW and focus on the boring talky videos they clearly still have some passion for.
>if you don't indulge the imaginary backstory I've invented for my fake internet friends, y-you're just a blind fanboy!
Christ are you 12 years old?
they're not fake
>Yep. It's hard to properly articulate so autistic fanboys like
>Either you see it or you don't. Personally I just find their schtick overdone. Their new stuff is just not funny like their old vids.
This is an actual post typed by a person on Cinemaphile that doesn't think it looks incredibly embarrassing.(You) struggle to see it, but they are grown men pushing 50 still doing stuff that would better fit guys in their 20's.
>I'd respect them more if they just drop all the "funny" series like BotW and focus on the boring talky videos they clearly still have some passion for.
This is an actual post typed by a person on Cinemaphile that doesn't think it looks incredibly embarrassing.
Maybe he's having some midlife crisis or getting low on testosterone as he ages
or maybe you're moronic
are they drunk in this
what the frick
they have always drunk alcohol during these
they are acting more moronic than usual though. not talking about the opening skit
Rich lost some weight. Good for him
Christ Mike really doubled down on the being an obnoxious killjoy this episode
Hi Josh. Still seething you had to watch wheel tapes? Why don't you go suck off Dr Demento again
I'm cumming. I'm cumming from it being up.
why is josh wearing some kind of weird söyman shirt in this episode
THIS episode?
yes
i mean an actual söyman on the shirt itself
as opposed to the shirt itself being something a söyman would wear (normal for him)
>It's another several-minute long anti-comedy intro where Mike gets to indulge his worst impulses because everyone is too terrified of his violent impulses to tell him not to.
>"we definitely didn't watch something that was terrifying that we will never ever talk about"
Wonder what it was.
Josh and Jack's CP collection accidentally got into the black spine pile.
I wouldn't be shocked if people had sent them gore or other shit like that over the years, disguised as spines or other things. They mentioned in their archive video that Rich looks over everything very quickly to see what it is so that kind of stuff probably gets weeded out.
>Rich looks over everything very quickly
based rich-kun does all the heavy lifting and menial gruntwork
literally the glue that holds RLM together
In fairness he doesn't do any editing which takes hours. And the number of times Jay has had to edit star trek vids I would say the "grunt work" is pretty even.
But yeah he's the stereotypical workhorse of the three no doubt.
workstallion
we can't ignore his girth
Beasel The Easel or whatever it was they accidentally put in, I think that would've traumatised me if I watched it as a kid
Mike shaves his legs
He probably didn't have much to begin with, and if he wears pants with tight legs, the rubbing probably took a bunch. My dad is the same, almost no leg hair cause he thinks it's still the 70s and wears low waisted tight pants. I have plenty of leg hair and never wear tight anything
Idk but the Slick puppet voice is just so funny, there were so much potential for great comedic series
Where's the discussion, it was a good
They should just stop. It's really not funny anymore.
>when RLM beats you to the anti-RLM shitpost
lmao
you played yourself
>rare "Rich got high before filming" episode
nice
In the first few minutes, Mike made me side with Beardfat. Thanks, Mike.
I saved up all this week's cum for this moment.
that was the most dementia ridden intro Mike has ever done, it was like a Christopher Nolan movie
>dementia ridden intro Mike has ever done
Wait till you get into the discussion.
He just aggressively talks random shit at this
I wish he would stop trying to be funny. Best of the Worst is serious business.
I don't understand how you morons find this entertaining or don't see it as the obvious desperation of a middle-aged man who's clearly out of ideas for new bits. Everyone in the RLM crew is visibly sick and tired of going through this bullshit for dwindling internet bucks. They obviously just want to stop with the stupid juvenile humor and have a "serious" movie discussion show about their 'memberberries.
But no, BotW (and specifically WotW) is what the audience wants, so like helpless marionettes they keep dancing for your amusement. In this episode Mike's officially crossed the line into "sad clown" territory.
Please, just stop watching. Put these poor souls out of their misery already.
>I'm not having any fun AND SOMEONE NEEDS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!!! REEEE
Nah.
you're sad, miserable, never will be happy or never have fun. Not my problem.
>Everyone in the RLM crew is visibly sick and tired of going through this bullshit for dwindling internet bucks. They obviously just want to stop with the stupid juvenile humor and have a "serious" movie discussion show about their 'memberberries.
Even if this is a pasta this is actually 100% correct. The fact they're all visibly ageing doesn't help.
I wonder why they don't just do it then, I think re:view is their best format at the moment, they seem to be into it. This BoTW was fricking awful.
>I wonder why they don't just do it then
Gee, I wonder
Because Best of the Worst is their most popular series, and Re:View is their weakest. If they stop releasing BotW (and topical HitB episodes about recently-released blockbusters they clearly don't give a shit about) their Patreon will bottom out.
>they're all visibly ageing
Yeah it's a weird phenomenon that nobody else on the planet goes through
The point is that they're all mentally and now PHYSICALLY too old for this shit now.
>say now twice in one sentence
opinion discarded
>dat autistic projecting and fanfic
Go outside
How can you homosexuals watch these guys laughing and clearly having a good time just goofing on old shitty VHS tapes and come away with the conclusion that they seem miserable?
Because they are visibly miserable?
Are you clinically autistic or something? Can't read facial expressions? Difficulty with identifying tone of voice? Always unable to "read the room"?
>Cinemaphile homosexuals pretending to understand human behavior
>they are visibly miserable
>Are you clinically autistic or something? Can't read facial expressions?
>visibly miserable
>making their profitable youtube show where they get paid to watch funny tapes, drink, and make jokes with their friends
Every RLM thread is almost exclusively depressed lonely homosexuals projecting onto RLM. It would maybe be funny if it wasn't so sad.
And we just can't get enough!
Watch any old Wheel of the Worst episode and compare it to any of the post-COVID ones.
Yes, they laugh and shit, but all their joking around feels forced and awkward. It feels like going through the motions.
>7. A tactic that drags on for too long becomes a drag.
>Jay decided to grow out his hair
I don't know how I feel about this.
You could just be normal and not feel anything about it because it doesn't matter
He's supposed to ask for my permission before he changes his look.
I don't know how I feel about not having my fingers running through it right now.
He looks the best when it's just a tiny bit longer than usual
> autist accurately describes going through the motions, but doesn’t recognise when a group of people are doing exactly that
It’s almost poetic
>n-no u
Falls flat.
Sorry spergy, but you’re off base again. A normie would ask some shit like “how? How are they going through the motions? They’re laughing and having fun”. You know, like an actual argument instead of a knee-jerk putdown.
And I would respond with did you fricking see the intro
Ironic that I’m probably more autistic than you, and still somehow more functioning. Desperation is an insidious killer.
>triple-line meltdown because he's mad people are having fun and making money doing it
lol
Whirr
Rich also seems fed to the teeth
I think Rich was just miffed that Mike was acting like such a c**t
Because they saw the old episodes
Like when they were laughing so hard about Mexican kids dying on a beach that they couldn't breathe
As opposed to this most recent episode where they joke about a little boy accidentally shooting himself in the face?
He literally has aspergers. I know words like "autism" and "sperg" have become punctuation over the years here but he is genuinely the kind of person who is uncapable of getting the joke that they're kidding when they groan about how badly they don't want to watch bad VHS tapes. He doesn't understand "bits" like that. He can only physically comprehend things that are explicitly said out loud to him, and he believes everything that is said must be someone's honest thoughts. These people have very difficult lives ahead of them and are often taken advantage of.
It's a fricking wake compared to the old episodes. They used to seem to have fun, these days they seem to be TRYING to have fun, and failing
Why are you so desperate for RLM to be secretly miserable? Some kind of projection of your own failings maybe?
I'm not, I wish they weren't, but in this episode they clearly were.
That's because everyone has grown to hate Mike Stoklasa.
>Everyone in the RLM crew is visibly sick and tired of going through this bullshit
Only Mike
I just always assume by that point he's just a hair above black out drunk
both beasel the easel and firearms lady were hot.
beasel obviously has a tight body under that spandex suit and firearms has sexo 80s hair
Firearms girl was beautiful honestly, also I wonder what grumpy grandma church-lady's breasts looks like, they seemed rather large
These guys could've been like corridor crew, making funny videos and improving their skills. Instead they just keep doing the same thing over and over, and obviously don't enjoy it ever since the woman left. They lost their youthful energy around then.
>These guys could've been like
nah stopped reading there
Sorry, you're right. I meant
>These PEOPLE could've been like
>These guys could've been like corridor crew
You mean having 75% of their videos be shilling for advertisers and promoting their own website and the remaining 25% of the videos being them overreacting to boring bullshit?
best of the worst isnt funny anymore
Josh is the only good and funny member nowadays.
that lady is exactly right about TV
What the frick was wrong with Mike in this episode. All he does is ramble in an aggressive manner, and that opening skit was truly terrible, first time I've ever skipped a segment of RLM on first watch. Mike seems like he's done, he seems angry to even be there.
>that opening skit was truly terrible
on par with literally any improv that attempts to include Josh
So what woke virtue signaling do they do in this one?
>This is just a cynical scam for men who like guns to force their poor wives to learn about them!
>This religious lady trying to make the puppet be productive is an evil, judgmental b***h who just wants his fricking money!
Flipping out over churches existing and wanting donations.
Your image is not of Lee Purcell though.
I can't recognize her in any of the photos, but I have nothing to go on. Someone better than me needs to finish this investigation, I just started it but I am not competent enough to provide answers
Every episode Mike edits is trash.
I can't tell if they're intentionally slowing Beasel the Easel's voice to make it creepy, or if that's literally how she sounds on the tape.
They're slowing it down, same with Slick the puppet. They drop it halway through
>new RLM episode 4 hours ago
>still haven't watched it *nor any plans to do so
guys, im thinking they jumped the shark. This would normally be insta-watch territory.
You ain’t missing much.
Why do they never land on the interesting looking videos?
>anything religious is mentioned
>Rich can't contain his pissbaby rage
Imagine having a movie date with prime 2015-2016 Jay
Is that where he says "Her tattoo glew!"
Why was the table framed off center in the wide shot? Did they not even check?
this isn't kubrick not everything has to be autistic and symmetrical
For me, it's the canadians. Why aren't they in videos anymore?
imagine watching these homosexuals
Liz is a c**t. I agree with Jay, Slick is a cool guy. I identifiy with Slick, and he was scammed at the end.
Fucl Liz. I wanna give Slick some DVDs of gore and fun.
I honestly do not believe anyone would research and find stuff like this. Jay, I know it's you
>do not believe anyone would research and find stuff like this
It wasn't "research". The names of the people behind the tape are right there: Dale and Liz VonSeggan.
I just typed that. Barely any results on Google, and some videos on Youtube. Sadly, none of them is the Slick video.
I think the only clips of Slick we can get are from the RLM episode. I wanna see more of Slick.
>intro ends
>beardfat mcwizard homosexual
>dislike, closed the window, immediately come to Cinemaphile to complain
i guess that's another I'm not watching.
For me it’s sleaze Jay
He's literally me. I also have a fat overconfident friend, who's taller than me, drinks more than me, fricks with every girl he sees and keeps on teasing me about shit while all I do is change my body weight and hair length.
This is a common phenomenon
Abbot and Costello, Waiting for Godot.. really the "fat angry A-type personality and the skinny B-type follower" are an ancient primordial archetype.
>Manlet has to put work in to even get a chance with a woman
>Tall man gets women with 0 effort. Manlet calls it "over confidence"
I see Jay is a fellow flip-flops enjoyer.
>leaning in
oh no no no
God that was so shit. Mike going full drunk mode didn't feel fun at all. It's like he's actually drinking himself to death.
Kino episode
>slick is a counter culture icon
>...
>Justice for slick
>Slick is a puppet
Why is Mike like this?
Mike does RLM full time. Rich works construction as his day job.
No way, for real? Don't bullshit me. I thought Rich, Jay and Mike all did this full time.
well idk about today, but Rich used to work construction.
>Rich works construction as his day job.
maybe Rich eats construction.
no way that fatass was a reliable worker
He literally builds all their sets and props.
another episode hating on religion, and quite literally giving a platform to Beasel(mon)
they can't keep getting away with this
He just wanted to watch TV! Frick Liz!
Frick her!
Liz was right. TV is degenerate.
James has a family
none of these obese oxy-hooked failures will ever contribute anything to society
>dat projection
Even though they have a very healthy Patreon6, and also they don't really vote for a "best of the worst" at the end of each episode, Patton Oswalt killed his wife. Does he molesta his daughter? I'm not sure. Probably not, but he killed his wife.
Takes one to know one!
The Patton Oswalt episode is the only one I will never watch under any circumstances. I'd rather go on a date with Max Landis than watch that pile of human garbage.
He broke kayfabe at the end. I don’t think they ever really recovered from it.
Same, I'll never understand how that guy got a career in Hollywood. He's not funny, he brings nothing
So, this is the Fabio's goose incident...lmao
Mike making controversy for the sake of it ain’t funny
It's a near decade long cry for help and everyone just keeps laughing anyway.
>Rich reconstructs his grandmothers house that was destroyed in a BLM riot
>destroyed in a BLM riot
I read that as "RLM riot" and then realized that's literally true, Mike destroyed Rich's grandmother's house lol
Why do so many morons here defend Josh?
Josh doesn't need defending, sweetie.
So I take it this was another terrible WotW episode?
Def in the bottom 3
i enjoyed it
?? bruhh
it was hilarious, this was mike as his PEAK derangement. The entire climax of him being physically unable to string words together was hilarious
Mike's performance was the single worst thing about it, though. The guy isn't even being funny, there are no jokes there anymore. He's literally just acting like a drunk moron.
>The guy isn't even being funny
Haha, I'm sorry you had a bad time and didn't have any fun. That's too bad!
>The entire climax of him being physically unable to string words together was hilarious
whoah, haven't seen that before!
God it was so good, definitely one of his best.
No, it was like listening to your drunk bitter uncle, nothing funny about it, just annoying
>I wasn't "made unhappy" by watching it,
haha lmao i don't really care, sorry you had a bad time dude, the rest is between u & ur god
>THIS TAPE IS FOR MEN WHO DRAG THEIR WOMEN TO GUN SHOWS! THOSE POOR SUFFERING WOMEN
Guess these gays have never been to a gun show.
You know as well as I do that they haven't
satan-sama
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Number_of_the_beast#%CF%87%CE%B9%CF%9B
one chick posing for a picture is just advertising for the alienating amount of obese concealed carriers to show up
Oh you absolute fricking moron. So you want me to spam hundreds of pictures of women at gun shows now, huh? Is that what you want? Cause that's what you're asking for, homosexual. You REALLY thought you could post something that dumb and it wouldn't bite back?
Do it or you’re gay
i'm saying they're arm candy to entice morons to go to "gun shows".
(No, you have not)
of course not, i'm not gay
Objection your honour
I WANT TO FRICK BEASLE THE EASEL
can someone please tell me if they lowered her voice or does she actually sound like that
They lowered it. There were parts were she had her normal voice they forgot to change.
frickin mister b natural shit
seven 7s
prove it
I fricking hate beardfat so much bros. Whenever i see him i recognize myself. Just like him i can never quite fit in in the groups despite trying my best. Like, he's so desperate for approval with each worde he says, he tried being the angry guy in the past and he didn't fit in, he tries being super conformative now and doesn't fit in.
>C-can i p-pick surviving edged weapons for best of the w-worst
>You guys r-remember it r-right? They still joke about it on reddit
>Oh, i can't, but Rich can, i am so not angry with this, just letting you guys, know, haha
I don't really get the feeling that he doesn't fit and and actually desperately wants to fit in. I mean, he doesn't fit in, that's true, but he does seem to just enjoy being himself and do the things he likes, he doesn't seem to give a frick. I have nothing against him.
>I have nothing against him
It's good that you accept yourself Josh
