This honestly. I get the appeal but personally I never got into the world and characters (the sitcom dynamic, even if it's a satire, is super uninteresting). Plus the dated references.
children cartoons are stupid and i dont care that your favourite show was canncelled, yes og TT was good but it was still a kids show
i genuinely do not like that a majoity of shows come out of america and france, and want more brit shit and other countries, GIVE ME BOTSWANA CARTOONS MOTHERFRICKER, give me TIBETAN COMIC BOOKS
mark fisher has also ruined any enjoyment of adult cartoons and comics ive ever had and made me sad but id still would never wish to have his great books erased from my mind
True, I’ve been online trying to find more SA, SEA, and African comics. Might have to be in person to find them, but the ones I found online seem promisinf

amen. although I'd swap britain and france, the british stuff's more in line with american comics and the french stuff is more unique in my experience.
France has a lot of interesting stuff, from what I’ve seen/heard. The only British comic character I know that’s pretty popular (at least over here in the US), is Judge Dredd
Comic books are for children and manchildren. There's some good cartoons out there but not since Over the Garden Wall. I wish adult animation was more than "we can say frick and shit and there's blood and breasts," it's all so fricking juvenile. I still come here for webcomics but webcomics are fricking dead.
3D animation at its best is better than 2D animation at its best. People only shit on 3D for replacing 2D because most companies cheap out and/or are full of talentless nepobabies so their work looks inferior in quality. 2D frame by frame is an archaic and unnecessarily time wasting effort and 3D can produce art equally as good looking in a faster time and without crunching the frick out of underpaid staff.
I confess I sometimes think most of the people in this board are actual morons who cannot even make the distinction between a confession thread and an unpopular opinion one.
I never finished the latter seasons or movie(s) of the Venture Brothers and am not particularly interested in changing that. I preferred the first couple of seasons when they didn't go so heavy on the overarching plot/lore and it was just a silly parody of Johnny Quest.
Their personalities change quite a bit later on in the series but I don't blame you and I'm not gonna twist your arm to stick with it either, despite the fact that you hate the parts I liked.
Man, this. The show changed for the worst after season 4. You can practically see AS wearing away at Publick and Hammer as the show went on. Bless them for trying to stick to their vision despite the network limiting them, but it just wasn't the same.
But heaven forbid you call it anything but a masterpiece.
i dont think the looney tunes are funny and i thought up until a few years ago everyone including myself saw them as historically important but anomalous in their continued success
I keep up with news about action cartoons and comics, and form opinions that I bring up in casual conversation.
I do this so my wife thinks I'm interested in comics and cartoons in general. It's a strategy because what I'm really interested in is comics and cartoons and anime and manga about little girls. This way, whenever she catches me reading or watching e-girl stuff she just thinks it's my eclectic taste and general interest in animation and art. I don't actually watch or read action comics and cartoons, I just pretend that I do.
>does your wife not have a vegana or something
Of course she does. And I love her, and I'm attracted to her, and we have a sex life, but I also happen to like little girls so I watch cartoons and anime with e-girls. It's called being a non-exclusive ped.
Groomers groom, they go after real children and harm them.
You see how this is not the same thing, right? These are drawings.
I'm well adjusted, thanks to my wife and thanks to this kind of art.
Whenever I feel sad I like to think about Kevin Spencer's nipples and how someone who worked on the show really had to say something like "what the frick are those raisins, give the boy some real nipples"
On tbharchive, if you sort by just ghost posts on Cinemaphile and no other criteria, it's all arguments about this Kevin Spencer cartoon. What the hell is this? Some zoomer analog horror thing?
I still think the Avengers are a lame discount Justice League and the X-Men were the real meat and potatoes of Marvel. The d*sney mandates to sideline the X-men for movie synergy and the MCU making them push the Avengers permanently ruined Marvel for me.
I’m not sorry, but I know this upsets a lot of people.
I keep writing green texts and making posts about lesbian characters because I want to create the perfect pair and I’m trying to feel out the reactions
I’m sick and tired of the way modern media uses gay couples for easy diversity points without putting in any thought, and since I have a chance to join the industry in a couple years, I want to eventually show them how it’s done
I wish mods would actually clean up the board from all the duplicate threads. It ridiculous that 80% of the Catalog is clearly underaged homosexuals spamming their shit yet nothing happens.
ive only read 1 cape comic outside of Cinemaphile storytimes. it was some random free avengers comic i got from a store my dad took me to as a kid. it was my first experience with a comic, and the fact it was a random issue with no context or anything made me dislike comics from then on. storytimes have basically undone that idea for me, a bit.
Garth Ennis writing on The Punisher Max is not as good as people make it out to be.
I’m not saying it’s overrated, I just don’t think it’s the best interpretation of Frank Castle’s character
I don't care for The Simpsons. Yes, even the good seasons.
What about it falls short for you?
Some people don’t like things.
This honestly. I get the appeal but personally I never got into the world and characters (the sitcom dynamic, even if it's a satire, is super uninteresting). Plus the dated references.
I think Hazbin Hotel is enjoyable but incredibly flawed.
That's just a fact really.
You know exactly what you are in for, for better and worse.
Wrong
I'm male and I self insert as Azula.
Why
she is cool and strong and royal
She’s also a massive b***h and had a mental breakdown

Cute cat
all cats are cute (yes even furless cats), but i get what youre saying and agree

I wish Arab comics got more love, there's some interesting stuff
POWERFUL KAZAKH FILM

Read tpoh its very good and lengthy and still going
I like Pibby
It was a cool concept, but the copyright
It's such a guilty pleasure of mine. It's a completely autistic concept that is guaranteed to have a horrible fandom but I would still watch it.
Same

I made it through the first season and lost interest BECAUSE the humor was puerile and Hank/Dean suck all the oxygen out of the room
Their personalities change quite a bit later on in the series but I don't blame you and I'm not gonna twist your arm to stick with it either, despite the fact that you hate the parts I liked.

I make 3D AI gens of Cinemaphile character models on civitai as IRL humans but I never jerk off to them
I can see why
i dont think the looney tunes are funny and i thought up until a few years ago everyone including myself saw them as historically important but anomalous in their continued success
I still stick by ships in shows I watched more than a decade ago... oh yeah and I guess I'm STILL a dirty shipper.
I keep up with news about action cartoons and comics, and form opinions that I bring up in casual conversation.

Cinemaphile complains about woke groomers then makes posts like this
Groomers groom, they go after real children and harm them.
You see how this is not the same thing, right? These are drawings.

I suppose so. I'm not one of those "drawings have feelings" spergs, I know fantasy and reality are different.
Not a pedophile
but also-a-pedophile

nah, you're right. I haven't really enjoyed Avengers stuff since I was a kid. and I agree, MCU synergy is ruining the comics and it fricking sucks.

I'm in love with Sussie from C&H.
I jerk it to cartoonies.
That’s not even a secret
I haven’t watched any cartoon since 2012. Cinemaphile theatrical films are the only thing I watch on occasion.
I wish mods would actually clean up the board from all the duplicate threads. It ridiculous that 80% of the Catalog is clearly underaged homosexuals spamming their shit yet nothing happens.
I actually do think john k blog is educational.
he has a few good points
I've always hated Rugrats and Klasky Csupo in general, their artstyle just looks disgusting.
ive only read 1 cape comic outside of Cinemaphile storytimes. it was some random free avengers comic i got from a store my dad took me to as a kid. it was my first experience with a comic, and the fact it was a random issue with no context or anything made me dislike comics from then on. storytimes have basically undone that idea for me, a bit.

I draw suggestive and gay art of obscure Cinemaphile dudes and will never share them
