At that point it makes more sense to just not watch it. Watching an anime at 2x speed gives you only the story and the dialogue. You miss everything else that could make an anime good like music, sound design, tension building, some of the animation is surely missed too. Comedy also relies on timing which is fricked up by 2x speed. There's no reason to ever watch any show at 2x speed unless your job is to provide synopsis for each episode for some website.

At that point it makes more sense to just not watch it. Watching an anime at 2x speed gives you only the story and the dialogue. You miss everything else that could make an anime good like music, sound design, tension building, some of the animation is surely missed too. Comedy also relies on timing which is fricked up by 2x speed. There's no reason to ever watch any show at 2x speed unless your job is to provide synopsis for each episode for some website.
