Was AAS the show who had an episode about stillbirth? I remember Shane’s mother being pregnant, Shane wondering why his new sister wasn’t moving when he went to visit his Mom after she gave birth, and his Dad telling him she was “born asleep”. It didn’t shy away from showing a tiny blue baby “sleeping”, either. Kind of Dark for a kid’s shows.

Yeah. Check out the audio commentary for the first season, the creator basically says he had a super huge crush on the actress since the 90s and pined to have her voicing a character. The character design was redone to resemble her once she was on board, though.
I love her so much, her Husband is so lucky, too bad we rarely see her and Gert interact.

You're fine with not liking AAS, it's target audience is definitely for younger crowds but have you ever tried watching shows in it's genre before it came along? Night and day difference.

You gotta admit her twitter battle with Thomas Astruc was one of the greatest shitshows ever seen on the internet. And all because she told a viewer to frick off and go watch Ladybug instead if she didn't like her show.
The shitstorm was pretty fricking entertaining, especially when she slipped up and called someone a Black person while raging at them for making a good point (despite claiming to be super social justicey), deleted the tweet, and tried to deny she ever said it.
At this point, I'm sure she either sold her soul to de devil, or is fricking one of Disney's head honchos. That didn't get her fired, nor that outburst when she dissed Sugar and Terrace by saying they sucked the right wieners at the right time. Although she seems very fond of Nefcy for some reason.

It's not the first time she backpedals on what she says. Back when TMAMM was about to premiere, she was very open about how working as a storyboarder for Spongebob was a delight and she initially brought the pitch for her show to Nick, but they were too busy doing the Nicktoons Unite cartoon and passed. Then in 2021, she blasted Nickelodeon saying that passing on TMAMM was a mistake and called the Nick execs a bunch of uncultured pigs incapable of recognizing talent.
And it doesn't help she's super friends with John K, remember she agreed to voice Egg Yolkeo for free on the Ren and Stimpy revival from last year.
She literally called anyone who liked Ren and Stimpy “rape apologist” and told them to choke a few days ago. (As much as Ren and Stimpy deserves the hate, the people who like it didn’t deserve to be targeted by her.) Was there a falling out?
Admittedly, I had no hopes on the Mushroom War prequel for Adventure Time, but that shit was spectacular. The whole deal with the Lich having been influencing mankind to war with each other since the dawn of time completely caught me off guard.
I think that's over the new cartoon, you know the one John K has no input in. So I imagine she's siding with him. And well, John K at least still has the George Liquor, Powered Toast Man and the Lummox Gang cartoons on Comedy Central, and Ashley voiced a few characters in those this year.
