James Spader was in a lot of kino in the 80s/90s but his career just died when coming into the 2000s

Yeah the only thing he does well is play an arrogant prick you want to punch. No charisma at all.

He's the only reason I started watching season 3 of True Detective. And I kent watching for Dorf. Not sure why people dislike that season.

Spader inexplicably got into amazing shape for the piece of shit movie Supernova when he was 40 and then just let himself go afterwards. If he had maintained this body and kept his hair he'd have Robert Downey Jr.'s career right now. I think he must have gotten sick at some point in the 2000s and never disclosed it publicly.

Hair loss. Also people like Spacey, Eckhart played in similar range of roles.

I think Eckheart would, and should, be a lot bigger if that Australian bastard didn't OD before TDK came out.

Aaron Eckhart toned down his career to spend more time with his family after he nearly died in a car accident.

I think he's a conservative which is partly why his career suffered during the 2010s

he looks a lot like Mark Valley, who coincidentally was in Boston Legal with James Spader

Boston Legal was good at times but it often got too preachy. If they kept politics out of it, it would have been kino

Sometimes I feel bad for actors when their careers take a slump but then I remember how much money they make. After a few movies even low level actors make enough to live off of for awhile. I would be lucky to land a few big roles then chill for the next few years

He had impeccable hair and then he didn't anymore. That's what happened and I agree its a shame. He still has a great voice and he can make pieces of shit look like gold. He carries scenes. I like The Mentalist in concept but man I get so bored when I try to sit through it. I think I hate the chick who is supposed to be his daughter.
