To be fair, I think it was a good thing he was out of the picture quick. Otherwise he'd just be a tool for Ennis to keep pushing his cynical British take on the Irish Troubles

>cynical British take on the Irish Troubles
All of those young lives lost, just so they could turn around and push the same kind of globohomosexual as the British government
SAD!
And yet, after the last white Irish person is replaced, the troubles will restart again between the pakis and the indians
This. Why bother killing for your independence when you're just going to give up everything unique about your culture to become bargain-basement ice-cold Californians?
I'm not saying they couldn't kill him. I just think it was way too soon. It worked for the story, but it wasted a cool character who could've accomplished more.
>but it wasted a cool character
I don't know why you morons think that everything needs to go on indefinitely. It's the reason why comic books are shit. Things need to have an ending.
Are you daft? Where in my posts have I said he needed to be an ARCH NEMESIS to the Punisher or something? I'm just saying he could've done more than just miss bombing a diner.
>noooo! there must be more! more! more stories! a spin-off! a movie! a fricking movie! a movie is the fricking epitome of culture! you must tell me more stories about this character!
You are mentally moronic. There's no other way about it. You're just too fricking stupid to see a good thing in front of you. You don't need more. You need less.
>he needed to be an ARCH NEMESIS to the Punisher
Are you? Because that's the exact sort of thinking that leads to bullshit like that. Ennis' run of Punisher Max isn't about doing a 3000 issue run of total fricking abhorrent bullshit. It doesn't matter that think "OOOOH! HE COULD JUST BE IN JUST ONE MORE STORY!!1one" Finn Cooley served his purpose. He was cool, but he was no Barracuda.
Noisy brainlet. Overuse is annoying but having high-quality characters pop up again once in a while like pic related was awesome.
Again, Finn Cooley isn't Barracuda. There's just no mileage there, and two people surviving Frank Castle is simply unrealistic.
Nah he was soulfull, memorable. Cuda was in a league of his own for sure but Cooley was easily interesting enough for a return like the Man of Stone and that gay mafia guy. I think thats what Ennis was going for too after he talked about Finn surviving blasts in the past. Maybe he did, I dropped it after that weird one with the office guy and the weird looking Asian woman. Or maybe the psycho bathtub one, I can't remember.
Gay mafia guy and gay CIA terrorist guy both survived several close encounters with frank and neither were as memorable as Cooley.
Proving that there was limited room for recurring villains in Ennis' run is supposed to support your argument or something?
why'd they do it?
I hate the Irish so much, bros
I love the Irish.
America in a nutshell
Pandora for sure, if anyone still remembers her.
QRD?
How many times?
> for Ennis to keep pushing his cynical British take on the Irish Troubles
source for the comic? I hate micks.
Punisher MAX issue 5 or 6 or 7 whenever Kitchen Irish starts.
Revival Issue #7
That's all I'm saying
i am still waiting for a fricking other shoe to drop with that, like i liked Gert, and i didn't want Gert back, but again, at least we get whatever he wanted with it, Skottie's wild ride
How was he done dirty? In this same run Frank murdered some innocent Russian solders at a bar during peace time just to steal their clothes. Ennis may or may not be a giant cuck but there's no reason to assume a characters death means they deserved it.
You could really pick any X-men character. But Beast was always my favorite. And it hurt.
When do you think they first started doing Beast dirty?
Probably around just before the O5 came back is were it started to become really drastic. There was some stuff prior but that would have been easy to brush off. But after that mess with the O5 you could tell they basically turned him into the X whiping boy for the sake of whatever bullshit they were making other characters do.
For me? It's Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-Men: Utopia.
>ennis
How Garth is Ennis?
I don't know much about this guy pre-Guardians but everything after that point pisses me off.
>Shows up as a fun straight-man late addition to the group who made it to the end of the run
>Is one of several characters who just fricking disappeared after Benis took over and ruined everything about the team
>He languished in obscurity for a few years before getting killed in the beginning of the legendarily moronic Hydra-Cap plotline
>He has just been dead for like five years.
It sucks when a fun minor character is thrown into the grinder to prop up a lame event.
Zemo in the MCU
Such a waste and worst still we're getting robbed of proper Thunderbolts in favor of a bargain bin suicide squad
The MCU is terrible about making it's villains lame in order to make them more bland and normalgay friendly but making Zemo into just some fricking dude is probably the most egregious example.
I mean for how much they hyped Kang. But yeah. Zemo really needed to be more of a scary dude. Actually on that note I'd like Zola to make a comeback. His scene in Winter Soldier was actually pretty cool but I want his damn robot TV body.
she deserved nothing that happened to her in the series.
