I dont know how accurate his lawyering was but in the first season he always had some kind of fancy jargon that would catch the other side off guard and make them seethe. The next few seasons there was hardly any lawyering, it was just tracking down witnesses for their testimony. Everytime all seemed lost a new whistle-blower would pop up. Very lazy storytelling
