I like Kitano's least-considered movies (Violent Cop & Outrage, which he said he only made to pay his bills) and don't really like any of his masterpieces like Sonachine or Hanabi. They're good, but not exceptional.

basically some mafia dude, got tired of his violent life, accepts death as an a releaf, and tries to spend time just enjoying the last moments of his life in quet childish way, defore going on his last mafia mission and dying.
