You can analyse the technical elements of a film (filmmaking/cinematographic techniques, acting, writing, structure) with a degree of objectivity, but to imply that one's perception of film isn't inescapably coloured by their individual perception is, indeed, moronic. You can try and look beyond your own perceptions and detach yourself from your immediate emotional response but you will never arrive at an objective view of a work of art.

3 was a fun but stupid slasher, really campy, 4 is an overburdened mess, 5 feels like an episode of csi with supernatural elements - but I honestly enjoyed that one, it was a bit more clever from a writing angle. The rest are absolutely unwatchable.
Actually hand painted, or collaged, rather than being entirely digital creations. I'm of the opinion the best results come from hand made source material that's then well edited digitally.
