It's not to the extent that you'd think, but they do overcompensate for having to deal with A LOT more mediocre men then men have to deal with any variation in women. Women are much more clustered together with less variation in traits. So most women, being moronic/shallow/evil deal with seeming abundance of mediocre/moronic men by setting up unrealistic and stupid "standards" like the 666 club or whatever it's called.
