As in the year of 2024 where parents actively cheer their kids into cut of their breasts with 15, I think the effect of Shinsekai Yori's gay parts are a bit less effective.
The plant episode was kino, the big fish episode was kino, the Yuasa episode was kino, the purgatory episode was kino, the ramen episode was kino, the episode with the orphan girl was kino, the high school episode was kino, the rock band episode was kino, the dog episode was kino, it only had a few mid episodes.

It depends but the medium has way too little 'good' stuff to justify it's existence. It's more of a pseudo-lifestyle.
