>still my favorite movie to watch and one of the greatest kinos of all time
probably the best example of a kino that runs off nothing but the feeling the visuals and sound evoke

lunchian
awful bait. the dialogue is godtier and the themes are discussed to this day.
/thread, have a nice day
>the themes are discussed to this day
>what does it mean to be.... Le Human?
most generic sci-fi bullshit ever, nobody watches blade runner for the story
see above. it's generic sci-fi trope that was generic in sci-fi decades before blade runner.
>first cyberpunk film
>generic
you are 16 years old
first cyberpunk is a visual genre more than anything.
the story genre is scifi, and the scifi themes of blade runner are in fact generic to the scifi genre
>first cyberpunk is a visual genre more than anything.
lmao what a moron
no u
Shouldn't you be in class, zoom zoom?
im 30
>I'm 30 but I don't know the meaning of generic nor the meaning of cyberpunk
So just moronic, then.
no, I do.
My assessment is correct. You're just a butthurt moron and arguing with you any further is pointless.
No you don't, you just made a claim with no form of back up. Said claim coincidentally is a quite clear tell that you know nothing about the subject matter aside from cultural osmosis because you are a brainlet pseud that can't enjoy things from the source material and you need them dumbed down.
You are incredibly moronic, the cherry on top is that you call the themes generic because you've only experienced the movie after being fed the tropes that it started through dumbed down and inferior versions of said theme.
Your sugar riddled ADHD brain got bored of the movie because there were no CGI action scenes or explosions like a Marvel capeshit, cry me a river.
lmao damn, look at all that shit you wrote im never reading
>im never reading
As if that wasn't already obvious lmao
You can’t call something that was one of the first to do it generic
But it looks like shit and the music is shit
>the dialogue is godtier
Like everything in this trash "movie" it's terrible. Either meaningless nonsense made up on the spot or meaningless nonsense the moronic writer thought was deep or misunderstood and included wrong
>the themes are discussed to this day.
This "movie" doesn't have any themes. It's trashy "a robot learns to love" garbage, a complete inversion of everything the story is supposed to be.
If the story is so trash why do 95% of all modern sci-fi films borrow so heavily from Blade Runner's narrative?
He's just a stupid person.
I...AM...THE LAW!
pic related.
I’ve watched it like 3 times each time forgetting that I had actually seen it before and still can’t remember a single thing about it, it was that boring.
>acting: trash
>story: trash
>dialogue: trash
>trash: woah
I'd say Alien. It does great in making you feel like they are actually far away in some remote solar system, far away from any help, that it would take years to ever get back to humanity. Everything is dark, cold, utilitarian, mysterious and spooky. It's very much like Bladerunner even. The more the follow-on films moved away from that, the worse they got. The alien creature itself isn't enough to make an alien film good. Alien Isolation did a fantastic job recreating that look and feeling.
Would the inclusion of Mercerism from the book improve or harm the movie?
the movie needed kipple
The movie as is? It wouldn't make sense. The andys in the movie are full emotional people which itself doesn't make any sense. There isn't room for the Mercer/Friendly conflict in the mess of a story the movie has
The thing about this movie is somebody read the beginning of a synopsis(bounty hunter whose quarry is androids) and wrote a movie based on that without even finishing the synopsis.
Give me some Cyberpunk kinos
Cyberpunk games are better. Play Observer.
