Her looking exactly like Jean was an issue from Day On and he added fuel to the fire by giving her no past or history, she came into existence when she woke up from a coma from a plane crash that happened on the day Jean died. From the Ashes was a big arc where Mastermind convinced everyone except Cyclops that she was Phoenix brought back to life and going to cause trouble again.
In hindsight, Claremont really should have revealed that Maddie actually didn't look like Jean that much other than having red hair, it was all an illusion by Mastermind, and that she did in fact have a backstory it's just that Mastermind altered her memories. That way the clone retcon could have never happened.

They would finally show Dick and Babs' first meeting in Robin: Year One (2000), and their first meeting as Batgirl and Robin in Batgirl: Year One (2003).
It was Snyder who made them childhood friends out of costume too. It's first referenced in The Black Mirror.

it makes sense though, the Hulk is an expression of the Banners suppressed anger and letting it out is cathartic for him, it's a release of his inner desire to release his anger.

Colossus decides "He's evil and must always be stopped!" and fights him. Juggernaut beats his ass, pays for the damages and leaves. Colossus b***hes at the other 2 for not stepping in. Wolverine rationalizes that one, Juggy wasn't doing anything and thus didn't need stopping, and two, Colossus deserved to get his ass kicked for breaking Kitty's heart. Early on in Wolfman Titans there's a spectacularly bizarre subplot of Raven having made Wally fall in love with her in order to help facilitate the reformation of the Titans to fight against Trigon. It mostly exists to be a source of drama and complicate Wally's desire, also driven by his powers... killing him or something?, to retire from Superheroing but being unable to help himself from jumping back in to help Raven. He also gets back together with an old flame during all this? Or a new one? Sorry, it's a bit vague in my memory.
Raven similarly feels pretty bad about it and never does much to actually take advantage of it, so again, it's pretty much just another thing hanging around to make everyone miserable.

they really did a number on her backstory just to force her into being Dick's "destined" lover. It sucks because beyond making her a weaker standalone character it made their relationship even more boring
to be fair, it was her fault and she admits it. She played hard to get for years and eventually he moved on. By that point in the story Dick had tried making a move on her many times and and was the one who didn't reject him outright but never accepted either
