I like Edmond. I probably saw it 15 years ago but remember when he punches the guy with the trench knife and finds happiness at the end.

He finds "happiness" getting raped by a Black person. That's stockholm syndrome.

I never watched it fully but I've seen a clip of where some girl ends up in a lab ran by a dude named Dr. Satan. that part seemed pretty cool and interesting at least.

I remember flipping through the channels and seeing the scene where he's on the subway and sees the black women wearing a hat and tells her his mother had a hat like that, and the black lady ignores him and he's like

    >FRICK YOU, YOU FRICKING b***h. WHY DON'T I JUST FRICKING STAB YOU?

I had no context for what was happening or why he reacted like that, so it was the funniest shit ever. Later I saw the full film and still laughed at that part. Thanks for reading my worthless post.

The movie doesn't provide any context. He's just an irrascible b***h lol.

        Spartan cringe or actual cringe?

No idea what Spartan cringe would be. Cringe that somehow eschews luxury? I guess it has nothing to do with that.

Oh, did you mean as bad as Meet The Spartans? Because no, its definitely not that bad. Its more like Donnie Darko cringe...

I like the random female roles. Denise Richards turns up as a stripper; Mena Suvari as a hooker and Julie Stiles as some waitress who gets her shit stabbed. Did these broads think they were going to get better acting roles appearing as prostitutes in a 'Mamet' movie?

        David Mamet, huh?

A good amount of movies I liked as a kid, I can't watch because they're bad. Some things should stay in your childhood and not be experienced again as an adult.

I never liked the 3D mario games, probably because I grew up with the original 3 on the NES. On the other hand, I prefer the Metroidvania Castlevania games over the original style you'd find on the NES games.

    >Mena Suvari
    >Julia Stiles
That's why I rented it, hoping for nudity. All I remember was the ending where the message was "racism is le bad" or something.

Stiles sure does love her blaxploitation films. If you told me both her parents are black, I'd believe you. That's how much she identifies as a black person.

Same here it's basically a nihilistic woke movie.
At least Taxi Driver had an ambiguous ending so you could make up your mind.
