Seth is too busy shitting on bobs burgers.
Seth stopped writing for Family Guy since 2010 though
>South Park seethes at Family Guy
>Family Guy seethes at Bob's Burgers
Who does Bob's Burgers seethe to?
Jimmy Pesto.
Nobody because it's too timid and conflict adverse to point at anybody
Family Guy's digs at Bob's burgers to me comes across as light hearted and that they actually like Bob's burgers
That came later. When it first aired, they did jokes like how it looks like a mentally deraged moron drew it and specifically demanding they do the closing bit of an episode since their writing was suppose to be good. After it stuck around and mogged all third MacFarlane cartoons by winning the one Emmy they never have, the Family Guy writers started begrudgingly praising them in their "woe is me" self-deprecating way.
Brother, Family Guy only hits above their league, never down. The only time they did this was against The Simpsons, when they had Quagmire rape and kill their entire family.
They never did anything of this level to South Park, and much less to BB, with which they have a good mutual relationship.
I know this shit, I haven't skipped a single episode of this show
They have from time to time, but its underplayed

>Family Guy only hits above their league, never down
Then how come they referenced Rick and Morty? KEK! GOTTEM!

Bobs burgers rarely acknowledges anything in irl. No famous actors or anything. At most they mention obscure 80s movies
>No famous actors
may i remind you Teddy was a film star in his youth
Family Guy has a joke about Bob's Burgers having an Emmy and Family Guy not getting one though.
What do you know, it's the same thread as before. And like a simpering coward, OP will never defend his points of view because he knows Seth is nothing but a hack.
South Park already brushed FamGuy off its shoulder. FamGuy only goes after Bob because Bob's the only one who'll entertain its noisy yapping.
And like a cowardly internet troll, they slink off and disappear when nobody takes the bait.
>And like a cowardly internet troll, they slink off and disappear when nobody takes the bait.
What would you rather a troll did?
Do people not realize that 90% of their Bob’s Burgers jokes only happen when H. John Benjamin is on the show? There’s maybe three jokes in this whole compilation where he’s not there. And most of the jokes are just about them being more a successful show and having two Emmys.
?si=6NQfeOEbkiBsJbDT
It’s not that different from when they make fun of Robot Chicken or even Seth MacFarlane himself

seth is busy making money off cheap references. south park salty they can't do the same.
Family Guy goes after other shows all the time.
There was an attempt to respond to the Cartoon Wars thing but it was so lame that they cut it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=206Ov504_7A
>but as far as I know Seth never even knew SP existed
you don't know much:
>Yeah well you guys are GAY!
Kudos for correctly identifying Matt as the bottom.
Yeah, I didn't get the second one. What was Trey and Matt's problem with Ted? I understand Family Guy's writing, but what did they have against Seth's movie?
Probably that it succeeded financially and actual celebrities were interested in working on it. 20 years of success and they're still jealous he's on network TV and they're on basic cable
>Probably that it succeeded financially and actual celebrities were interested in working on it. 20 years of success and they're still jealous he's on network TV and they're on basic cable
>Caring about Network TV when you're millionaires making musicals on broadway in your spare time away from your hit tv show.
They are the biggest paid VAs of all time while also having the streaming rights to their show
Past Jim Cummings and past Tara Strong
Stone has like a 600mil net worth alone
South Park is very successful
It's not a good look to be posting on here Seth
Helps when their incredibly cheap show transformed Comedy Central from a 5th rate nothing cable channel barely anyone had to one of the most popular cable channels of all time.
Before South Park, Comedy Central was 99% old 80s movie reruns.
That's actually BS on the money part. It's well known/documented that Parker and Stone are only rich on paper not in actual money. They live on credit and renewals of SP, the later is why they openly hate the show since it's the only thing that makes them actual money.
Adding to this, Trey's first wife and heiress on an allowance had more money than Trey during the shows peak (hence why she didn't demand alimony since she was wealthier than Trey) and that Trey only married his stripper-hooker second wife because Trey's account had to give him the "it will be cheaper in the long run to marry your hooker and pay her alimony in the inevitable divorce than continuing to pay her $20,000 a week to frick you", after Trey beggared himself self-financing Book of Mormon
Every other show and movie Matt and Trey attempted ended in failure. Seth has 3 cartoons, a live series, and 3 movies under his belt. He is the better success in having other projects actually work out.
So Book of Mormon doesn't exist? It's one of the most successful Broadway musical of all time and it's obvious Seth wishes he had a famous Broadway musical
They beggared themselves to self finance it (hence their now open contempt for South Park as they basically can't continue their hooker and blow fueled frat lifestyle without South Park) and kneecapped BoM long term financial viability by rushing it into roadshow/licensing to try and speed up it making its budget back (Broadway musicals tend to require 10-15 years to make their money back with licensing and roadshow versions not happening until the main production wraps).
Also BoM is why we have literal cancer Dylan Mulveney, who killed Budweiser as a multi-million dollar brand. Seth never unleashed THAT cancer upon society like Trey and Matt did.
the frick are you talking about, team america was amazing
>Every other show and movie Matt and Trey attempted ended in failure
The only one that could really ve considered a "failure" is That's My Bush, and that's just a shitpost tv series.
>Seth has 3 cartoons, a live series, and 3 movies under his belt.
Cleveland Show was a failure
The Orville was a failure
A Million Ways was such a flop that it practically killed Seth's career and he has since went crawling back to Ted
The Orville was only a failure because Trekkies, like Pokemon fans, will run back to the trough to slurp up name-brand slop instead of trying ANYTHING different.
I know it's not relevant to the topic of flop or not, but I have heard The Orville is a good watch.
lol I completely forgot about a million ways to die
One cannot call a multi season series a failure.
People liked those shitty Ted movies? That shit was up there with Sausage Party tier stoner humor.
People seem to praise the new Ted series just fine. Was better than the movies apparently.
It appeared for six seconds in an episode because it was a current movie at the time
Seth makes fun of his own work all the time.
I know Cartoon Wars was back in 2006, but which show seems to be doing better nowadays?
Family Guy is still in production and Matt and Trey are releasing film length episodes of South Park, what, once a year?
Their current contract is 6 half-hour episodes and 2 TV movies a year.
The Snow Day game pretty much showed they're being somewhat spread thin. They're also now renovating the actual Casa Bonita
Casa Bonita's open, but in a "Join an email waiting list to get in" capacity right now.
It's strange, originally, they literally added only one south park reference in there because they wanted to keep the original experience, but now they added Manbearpig and it makes me think they'll slowly add more and more SP if it doesn't make its money back quicker.
Even then Comedy Central has fully imploded. If it was still a functioning channel that actually gave a shit, they might have bigger episode requirements of Matt and Trey.
Seth hasn't been involved with FG in ages outside of doing voice work.
Seth never considered a show that was not on a major network worth caring about. Anything on cable was third rate crap in his opinion.
Now Bob's Burgers, that shirt made him seethe.
Untrue. He was personally mad that Robot Chicken got the rights to do a Star Wars special before Family Guy did.
But that's why he was raging, it was some after midnight cable bullshit. When HIS show was the big amazing network superstar. He is still living in the 80s where Network association is king and cable is a dumping grounds for losers that could not land a network gig.
Didn't Draw Together shitted on South Park too?
That was the plot of their whole movie
Funnily enough Seth was involved in that movie
>Bob's Burgers made Seth seethe
>Implying that Seth writes the jokes
>Implying they're not all probably acquaintances if not friends with Bob's crew.
It's weird how you guys project your own contempt onto everyone else. Sometimes a joke at someone else's expense isn't due to genuine anger or hatred of that person. Sometimes it's an innocent ribbing.
they're not all probably acquaintances if not friends with Bob's crew.
Now this, is a pretty funny joke.
Plus doesn't the guy who voices Bob also voices a character for Family Guy
Yeah and he voices Bob in every Family Guy appearance.
I think there was a joke where the guy did a stand up routine where he does the voice of both Bob and Archer and doesn't change anything
>but as far as I know Seth never even knew SP existed
No Seth has actually gone on an interview and asked why they didn't like him.
Seth is always high on his balls, its a wonder he knows anything. Also why does this board have the need to pit everything against each other? Like a bunch of bitter old single women.
Cinemaphile has one of the highest populations of open femanons compared to other boards, if that puts things in perspective.
>Also why does this board have the need to pit everything against each other?
It's one anon who's been trying for years to put Family Guy over South Park, and he's probably been samegayging every response ITT.
Baseketball too.
>Simpsons accuses Family Guy of plagiarism
>Family Guy gets them back with a lighthearted joke that everyone can agree was respectful and done to show there were no hard feelings
Seth fricking SEETHES about South Park in the commentaries and all the attempts to get back at them get cut for not being funny.
https://ew.com/article/2006/06/13/the_family_guy_/
>The boys at South Park are absolutely correct. Those cutaways and flashbacks have nothing to do with the story. They're just there to be funny. And that is a shallow indulgence that South Park is quite above, and for that I salute them.
Honestly a funnier response than any actual Family Guy joke.
I think seth mcfarlane is probably aware of the existence of south park
Seth would KILL for a tony award winning musical but he's never be as talented as Matt and Trey lmao.
He's a better singer than Trey and that's really all he has
Trey has been in bands and has a career as a song writer too. He also does a few theme songs for other series.
Seth is more of a fan, and a fan of 1940s era crooners and musicals. Not really as relevant and he does not even seem to make an attempt to break into the modern broadway area at all. He just wants to focus on Bing Crosby of the late 30s more often.
Seth has 7 studio albums
And South Park has a shitload of video games. Your point?
And his albums consist of the same thing, 70+ year old songs that have a very dwindling audience. Nothing that is going to grab any new listeners or lead into a Broadway career by any means.
And he paid for those himself. He is recording his own albums.
Parker has 5 albums, 3 singles, and a broadway musical,
Seth knows about South Park, but he also knows shitting on South Park won't accomplish anything because Parker and Stone don't give a frick.
The writers hate Ted 2 for some reason.
wrong video
>The writers hate Ted 2 for some reason.
>for some reason.
Yeah it sucked
>Jhonen Vasquez seethes constantly about Butch Hartman
>Matt and Trey seethe constantly about Seth MacFarlane
Is this just really a betas vs chads thing under the surface?
Yes. Especially with Jhonen being that the only notable thing in his resume is Invader Zim
I guess putting Johnny The Homicidal Maniac in any resume is kinda weird
When has he ever talked about butch? Proof? Screenshots?
That's more Nickelodeon's fault for thinking the Johnny the Homicidal Maniac guy would be good at making shows for their network.
The latter wasn't even shitting on Seth. It was something you saw in the background during an entirely different gag. This is right up there with "normal words but a horse guy" in terms of 'not actually throwing shade at all.'
Both those shows should've ended 10+ years ago.
Matt and Trey made multiple episodes seething over how Phil Collin's won an oscar from 'You'll Be in My Heart' instead of 'Uncle fricker'.
It was Blame Canada that was nominated, since it was the only song from the movie they could perform on broadcast TV without getting censored.
>made multiple episodes seething over Phil Collins
one episode
Timmy 2000, Cartman's Silly Hate crime 2000, 200
One episode is in the same season and one episode is set years apart from Timmy 2000 and is nothing but a callback to that. It's silly that you think this is some kind of own when it isn't.
Can you name forced rivalries? I don't think I've ever seen an interview about Kevin Spencer without someone bringing up South Park
I don’t think I’ve ever seen an interview about Kevin Spencer
This is a forced Cinemaphile rivalry, but the Alex Hirsch and Luke thing.
When the frick is Bikini Cowboy 2?
Rick and Morty vs Xavier Renegade Angel
Rick and Morty vs Smiling Friends
>as far as I know Seth never even knew SP existed
When did they make fun of Ted?
a nightmare on facetime
He did call them out once for mocking his staff but apart from that he's doing bigger things. They came off as quite bitter when they tried mocking Paris Hilton too
>Seth never even knew SP existed
he literally admitted they were correct when he spoke at a harvard graduation.
They had Peter Griffin complain about cutaway gags in shows that had nothing to do with the story before cutting to Hitler on a unicycle and then later in the episode had Peter beat the shit out of unicycle Hitler going "SEE WE HAD A PLAN FOR THAT SOUTH PARK"
I watched the episode, he didn't mention South Park once.
>Twitter tourist dickriding Seth McFarlane
Piss off, you NPC homosexual. Family Guy literally had Quagmire rape and kill the Simpsons because Seth was butthurt at them calling him a plagiarist.
Nobody in the industry likes Family Guy, and the feeling is mutual for Family Guy writers.
why are homosexuals liking Seth now?
Contrarianism, though wether it's contrarianism to get a rise out of people who take this seriously or contrarianism in which they're one of said idiots who take things too seriously but need to be on the other end of a popular opinion even if it's correct is debatable.
>every opinion I don't like is contrarian
People finally realized Family Guy is peak after all these years.
>no milfs
Anyone else find it a little off that Sharon's described as having great breasts but Jimmy and Tweeks moms are drawn with big breasts. I guess it could be because they're showing cleavage and Sharon's just in a sweater.
>but as far as I know Seth never even knew SP existed
That doesn't sound right. SP being as big as it is, I have a hard time believing that Seth hasn't at least heard of it, even if he's never said anything.
>Family Guy is still really popular because their cutaway gags can be watched through youtube clips without missing the context because there's barely any, also it's big with the ironic meme crowd
>South Park is more irrelevant than ever, only smelly fujos still watch it
Family Guy won.
