I honestly want to spam this show so that Cinemaphile can hate Gym Partner. I am sick and tired of Cinemaphile acting like Gym Partner is one of CNs best shows ever made and I don't get why this is the longest running CN show
I blame this show for why I quit watching TV animation for close to 10 years, I was babysitting my niece circa 2008 and this shit was on and it made me want to hang myself, I used to love CN properties in the early 2000s until around when Fosters started airing, Gym Partner made me think it had just gotten worse from there and the whole channel should be written down.
God, so many shows then just came and went back then. People lament the state of cartoons nowadays, but it's just the result of a series of poor decisions that followed the good old days.
Always hailed as one of the best if not THE best of the 90's Nicktoons even though it doesn't have the timeless character drama of Hey Arnold or the still funny humor of Rocko.
Hated Rugrats then and hated it now, no idea how people could even stand to watch it. Also Rocko was awful, only Xoomers with nostalgia goggles like it
People praise it to high heaven, even though it was just another action cartoon and one that took itself too seriously for such an absurd premise. It was basically a dark version of Power Rangers

It's one of those shows I can't rewatch as an adult. It's extremely obnoxious with it's fart and gross out jokes. And it's LOUD. Mandy is very unlikeable with how invincible she is. Like a villain Mary Sue. Hateful fart cartoon is literally the best description of it.
