thank you, i've always hated this shit, overdesigned, over loud, love-conquers-all, insisting-on-itself movie
> I'm gay for not liking zesty looking homies screaming annoyingly on screen
Lmao
Fifth elements gays are hopeless. Your movie is trash, and the only redeeming part of it is prime Milla dicky, accept it
I don't totally hate it but there are way too many Black folk.
>prime Milla dicky
That's why everyone like it.
>My autistic hatred for a good sci-fi movie is valid because I'm valid!
You fricking worthless loser.
>infinate jest is the best book I've ever read
you forgot one thing, chris tucker
what a miserable specimen. god have mercy on you
In after people who saw this movie when they were kids get mad at this post
Adults getting mad at children's movies and creating a thread on Cinemaphile is even more pathetic.
thank you
I wish love conquered all.
We live in very different time now
M-multipass…?
the only thing i disliked about that movie was chris tucker and the character he played
fricking obnoxious Black person
the movie that made luc besson's career that he never lived up to again
Leaving D.C. but it wasn't that bad
>Skin A' Ma Dink
I wanted to like it, but that shit is arduous
See, I really enjoyed Skinamarink. I just fell into a sort of zoned-out state and went along with it. I found it super effective and creepy as hell. But I really get why other people may not have liked it as much, or even at all.
Anything by Craig Zahler, especially Brawl in Cellblock 99, where Vaughn Lumbers around like Frankenstein's monster, Boris Karloff style, pretending to be a bad ass former boxer or something.
Yep.
I also watched Generation War because of /k/ and it sucked and was ridiculous, especially how it depicted Soviet occupiers at the end.
Mixed up with Generation Kill?
No. Frickers were actually talking about Generation War.
Tombstone.
Shitty movie.
Shitty real life characters.
Shitty 90s tropes.
It took me 4 days to watch it, and I watched two movies in between, including
Dragged Across Concrete, where a single heist turns ghetto basketball Americans into upper class people instead of ghetto Americans who blow it all drinking, snorting, gambling, whoring, and showing off.
the absolute worst taste this site has seen
Keep sucking the dick of ~~*Wells Fargo*~~ shabbos goys mercs and an overlong film where the most eventful part that should be at least an entire act is merely a montage and encourages leaving your wife for vapid hos.
Brawl in Cellblock 99 is absolute trash with comically bad gore and somehow is universally loved
i like fifth element but i agree with your post. the only thing of his i enjoyed was the second half of bone tamohawk
You should have a nice day I think
The Lighthouse
filtered by Eggers... classic Cinemaphile
>filtered by shit
Thank you, anon
B-BUT You LIKE ME MOVIE DONT YA LADDY?
This was equivalent to disney capeshit for millennials.
The Fifth Element, Blade Runner, Highlander and The Thing are the limitus test for soulful Sci-Fi, if you dislike them you have no idea what a good movie looks like
people are just homosexuals, nowadays
Can't expect zoomers to understand actual movies
Reddit is other way
Fifth element is fricking trash. So is blade runner. A bunch of girl power movies kill your selves old pieces of shit
You're a miserable, soulless wretch and I pity you
Enjoy your girls get it done movies.
>The Fifth Element, Blade Runner, Highlander and The Thing
>A bunch of girl power movies
PROOF that this board is now full of low IQ zoomer morons. Go kneel and watch your Fallout goyslop
>multitrash
i agree, this film is a pleb filter
>if you don't like disney star wars, you'll like Mumbledor!
Why won't they make 80s aesthetics sci-fi anymore?
Is this the official reddit thread?
Ok
I hated Drive, Pulp fiction, Alien, Commando, Batman: The Dark Knight Rises, Spiderman 2, Braveheart, No country for old men and The Departed
>Drive, Pulp fiction, Alien, Commando, Batman: The Dark Knight Rises, Spiderman 2, Braveheart, No country for old men and The Departed
All these movies are reddit
no country is a masterpiece. others are indeed reddit trash.
they've known each other for like 10 hours and somehow that is a love that can save the galaxy
kek
And it's beautiful, one of the best romances in film
Yes but have you seen her? "They really made her perfect."
This is a really comfy movie, it is something I love watching during the winter on TV while on my bed.
This guy simply is not funny. Nothing he does is funny.
On Cinema was consistently hilarious
Does anime count?
You're right.
>le hecking tough tomboy who likes GUNS and DRINKING and CUSSING
>and shy shinji who's a wimp just like me!
Star Wars
Back to the Future
Everything by Nolan
Everything by Spielberg
Everything by A24
etc.
>Star Wars
all shit, except the OT, og version only
>Back to the Future
kino
>Everything by Nolan
good until he jumped the shark
>Everything by Spielberg
kino until he jumped the shark
>Everything by A24
always shit
Cinemaphile tricked you to watch fricking Star Wars? In which literal shit hole do you live?
Akira
Good for the animation. But not for the story.
For the story you should read the manga
The original script was a lot cooler. The Diva had a bunch of psychic abilities, and there was a lot more spontaneous black goo from the Evil—even to the point of corrosively melting structures, which was supposed to happen at the end, as they’re panicking figuring out how to kickstart the elemental stones.
Frick budget. Frick producers.
>black goo from the Evil
What the frick was that shit anyway
chocolate syrup
Do you how good the special effects were for 1998? Some movies cant be fully appreciated without context.
This is like shitting on the super nintendo when you grew up with xbox 360. I can understand why some like it and you don't.
I watched it and thought, "Wow, the special effects look really good. Shame everything else is awful"
So you're a tasteless moron who doesn't like good things, noted.
I love 90s sci fi so much bros
It’s so surreal and unrealistic but I love it
did he leave a diary detailing that a woman randomly give him the idea to use the famous "now i am become death the destroyer of worlds" during sex, or did that movie seriously feel the need to plant the idea (in the viewers head) that a woman had anything to do with picking that quote?
also had 1 woman scientist in the movie commenting on that "they asked me if i could use a typewriter", an attitude that didn't feel realistic at all. can i assume she didn't exist either?
i saw a bunch of black people in Oppenheimer's class or science class in general (and some more women), which i also assume wasn't real in those days. at least not in those amounts.
would be fantastic if they could just tell history like it was without sneaking in woke stuff. this keeps happening so now i just automatically assume it's false history when i see black people and women in past settings. isn't it funny how forcing diversity and equality has ended up making me racist and sexist? i wasn't like this 20 years ago, can any anon relate?
also thinking about it i guess calling a "piece of shit movie" as is the thread's theme is taking it too far. but it could have jumped a lot less back and forth in time, and i wish it told more details about how secrecy was kept surrounding the whole thing.
i know it was more about the man than the project but i would have liked it if they mentioned that it was actually officially called "Development of Substitute Materials", which makes sense to cover up why they were mining such strange materials. and they should also have mentioned that the americans were very surprised to hear about deaths in japan from fallout/radiation since they didn't know about that side-effect before dropping the bombs. i think most people haven't even thought about that.
I’m gonna list shitty films /tv recommended that I never saw
Barbie was completely stupid
There are dummies in this website who will still defend this film.
I watched Euphoria then I cut my dick off
>bait: the thread
bait
You really think this kids movie is such a masterpiece that no one will dislike it?
oh yes, *wink wink* we all *wink* hate this terrible movie *wink* let's jerk each other off about how bad it is
some people dislike some movies for all sorts of reasons that have nothing to do with the quality of the movie
there isn't a movie created in history that at least one person doesn't like
and even then, contrarians will starting disliking it just because it was popular and that makes them seethe as demonstrated by this thread.
Perfect 90's movie. They don't make 'em like this anymore.
So this is star wars for the zoomers?
wtf? no, it came out before zoomers were born, and isn't a billion dollar franchise
it's Star Wars for the cool millennials
And the fifth element is ... drumroll ...
wuv.
Comically bad.
Worth it for some of the scenes, like the cool gun, and "Multi-Pass" Jovovich is hot but come the frick on.
hating popular things doesn't make you smart or interesting
