>I didn't go to 12 years of strange medical school to be called mister thank you very much
I knew that all sounded familiar.
It wasn't funny to me because they wasted Mads on this shit role.
>mad mikkelsen
>pretty much typecasted as a cartoon villain
>wasted
???
Aren’t they giving him Dr. Doom as well though?
I don’t really watch these movies, and I k ow you’re being ironic, but I really enjoyed the bit in Ragnarok with Chris Hemsworth talking about the snake
Rufus Sewell should be Doom
Would that be the first time the MCU has ever cast someone who already played a different character in the MCU? Also Hemsworth adlibbed the snake story which is probably why you liked it, because they didn't come up with it in a boardroom somewhere.
>Would that be the first time the MCU has ever cast someone who already played a different character in the MCU?
Amazing how forgettable she was in both roles.
He would have been perfect as Doom.
Eh, cast him anyway. These are make believe stupid movies anyway.
it's not like they ever have to see his face anyways
>bongos starts playing
these quips turn movies into forgettable slop
Mads elevated beyond the mere quip with his sincere unknowing banter, he deserves respect
Personally, I did not find this funny thoughbeit I don't think it's a bad joke or anything.
this is the only marvel quip I have ever laughed at
They’re just gonna keep shitting out this slop until every actor on the planet has appeared in the MCU huh
It's a naked gun bit, of course having dozens of 100 million dollar movies you're going to have at least a few decent jokes. Thor or Starlord probably the most times. They both happen to be good comedic actors. These movies would be better if they were just straight comedies. The forced drama and overdone action are what kill it for me. I don't care about Thor's mommy issues. Make him threaten to smite 12 year olds over video game nonsense.
>These movies would be better if they were just straight comedies.
Actually havn't seen that one. I was peer pressured into the last several i've seen. Isn't Bale some melodramatic devil character in this? Might try it out. My backlog is rough right now though.
Bale's character is the only time the movie is remotely serious. The rest of the movie is comedy, even something like Asgard blowing up is treated like a joke.
I haven't seen that one.
Did they make Jane Thor as unbearable as Whor in the comics?
Jane is surprisingly restrained in it, but they also completely rush her entire arc in one movie so they probably didn't have time to make her obnoxious and girlbossy like in the comics.
It was literally just ragnarok again but people got tired of taika waititi in the interim.
The last one already was a step down from the previous two.
Meant for
yeah but it came too close off the hells of the first two, probably could've used a longer break between films to write better material
Liam Neeson was supposed to play his son in a revival but I don't think that's going anywhere
thats a genuinely good joke
Except it’s not, it’s boring and has been done to death already
I really wish Leslie Nielsen would've done one last Naked Gun movie
a dumb joke that did get a laugh from me
>Are you ready to redeem yourself?
>Absolutely. My days of breaking into places and stealing shit are over. What do you need me to do?
>I want you to break into a place and steal some shit.
Jokes are fine, if they are:
1. funny
2. in-character
3. don't ruin the mood.
Mads has been in the MCU, Star Wars, AND Harry Potter, but he's still based.
How does he do it?
those just pay the bills so he can focus on his real passion projects
