He thought it was going to be like the movies where they have a tense showdown to get as much info as K_.ller can get before N_.gger dies. He didn't expect the guy to immediately panic, pass out, and die.
>at the start
i just started it after seeing this thread reminded me i wanted to watch it. so thos monologue hes doing right now is just at the start? i assumed he was gonna be doing this throughout the movie, dexter style, but when dexter did it it was cool imo
It makes me want to go to Paris and just listen to the Hitman soundtrack and feel like a hitman
I don’t care if it’s cringy
I want to feel like a dangerous assassin instead of a fat has been
I regularly wear disguises to avoid being seen by past acquaintances. Things I would never wear, like a hoody, or a puffy jacket, or aviators. Not even my best friend would recognize me.
Just saw it yesterday and glad I did. Fricking zoomers can not keep attention for 2 hours. Tiktok brains.
While it was solid movie, I would give it 8/10 because it lacked something other Fincher movies had. But overall it was like billions times better than Reacher's second failed season.
Loved the fact that he never gave intention when he is gonna kill someone, especially that toothbrush b***h when she slipped and he just dropped her into the brains.
Too bad there was no sex scene with his dominican waifu. But good flick overall
I agree, it was good and worth watching, but not a great. I won't go out of my way to watch it again but if someone has it on I'd happily sit and watch it with them.
There's something about releasing a film straight to streaming that makes it feel somehow lesser than a film that's been in cinemas. It's like if they're not gonna make the effort to market and release it properly I don't want to make the effort to sit and watch it.

I just watched it and I understand what the actual plot was (seasoned assassin makes a mistake, heads home to lay low, finds assassins had been hired to kill him, his wife beaten, against his code he takes it personally so spends the rest of the movie removing all threats so him and his wife can feel safe).
But you could view this movie in a much darker way. The monologue lasts almost the entire first chapter and the main theme is he's ultimately bored by the work and wishes there was excitement again, a challenge that required creative thinking. If we assume that he actually cant give a frick about anything then it changes the whole movie. Now what happened to his wife wasn't an injustice against someone he cares about but an opportunity to get creative in the work again. Now he has multiple targets, the majority of which he has to first figure out the identities of while they know who he is and then he has to execute tailored plans to kill each. That's way more exciting than what he's been doing for a long time. Once he gets to the final one, he decides not to kill him. If we're taking the expected straightforward view it's because the client was the most neutral out of all the targets. If we're taking the psychopath view the reason he keeps the client alive is because he's a potential employer because he's fallen back in love with being an assassin. Then he goes back home and we get a short epilogue where he serves a drink to his recovering wife. He monologues about the need to feel secure. Again this works in both interpretations of the movie but apart from the client, she and her brother are the only ones left alive who know about him and his mistake on the job. The entire movie was essentially cleaning up loose ends really and she's one of the final ones. He might have poisoned her. He might have even missed that sniper shot in the beginning of the film on purpose because he knew the chain reaction would lead to all this excitement
>even missed that sniper shot in the beginning of the film on purpose because he knew
interesting take overall but this one specifically doesn't add up with the way he says "frick" in response
>smoking a cigarette >some Karen walks up to me >Hey you can't smoke here this is a school. >I. Don't. Give. A. Frick. >flick my cigarette into her face >miss and it lands in my pants >pants catch fire
I listened to a Smiths' song
so do i AND i also use a paslode framemaster at work
why would anybody asume that nailgunning someone in the lung would make them not suffocate

/thread. fricking mix the s/t up a little huh? They threw in a gratuitous Portishead song and it sounded great compared to the rest of it.
this fricking film. Hit man fricks up an easy job and spends the next 90 minutes whining about it to himself.
>killer listens to The Smiths
>doesn't listen to Morrissey's solo stuff
and they really expected me to suspend my disbelief
This. You have to listen to both, not one or the other.
“How do you do fellow Anons?” - The movie
>haha, he’s literally you, I’m still relevant right?
> Jesus Mark. You've really become THE K_.ller
Who writes this shit?
MISSED THE SHOT
Who called it?
>assume his incredibly pseudy cringe monologue at the start is meant to make him look stupid
>slowly realise it was meant to be cool
No, you were right the first time.
>at the start

listening to the smiths and saying this outloud: STICK TO THE PLAN DON'T IMPROVISE
>do as thou wilt shall be the whole of the law

I don’t care if it’s cringy

I could have done without The Smiths reddit gimmick but it was a pretty good movie

Kinda wanna see it but Netflix Film makes me think it will be trash
They all have this weird amateur look to them they don't feel like films
It's made by Fincher moron
So? Still made with Netflix crews etc.
It was released in cinemas first moron
A limited release for a week or two and then straight to Netflix.
The king of pseuds.

Honestly it's the same quality as all the other "Netflix Films". I thought it was okay, wouldn't specifically recommend it to anyone.
sometimes i removed the pickle from the cheeseburger from mcdonalds
You passed the npc test.
The Kii.ller?
