I always had troubles with this character cause my father has an older brother, less succesful, more bald and more mentally unwell than him, just like in the Godfather.
One day he even told us he was smarter than everbody else and has paranoid tendencies, he's of course not married at 60 and never had a girlfriend that we know of.
He has a great memory, he cares deeply about my father and I and would kill for us or any family member but I guess something went wrong when he was a kid, he had some kind of trauma from the boarding school.
Anyway it always made me feel uneasy cause sometimes I fear I will be the same at his age to be fair he doesn't deserve any of it.

It's pretty believable though. That something like this would happen in an end of the world scenario. To her credit, it was pretty safe to assume Rick was dead anyway and it's not like everyone would stop getting horny or making moves on each other. Hey man, a month in the Z-apocalypses is a long time. If anything Shane going for it so quick is the real crime. After all, it was Shane who said Rick for for sure dead when Shane never even saw a body, he just assumed. I can forgive a woman for being fickle, it's her nature. But Shane stepped out, for sure.
