It was so sterile and soulless though. It's a movie that sucks you in at the time and immerses you in the world but after everything goes to shit, you realise you don't care about the characters because they all act like wooden planks.
So utterly forgettable.
fat baron is kino, idaho is kino, paul is a bit of a dumb teenager but he's still kino
the weird reverend mother was awesome too and jocko was funny
the only main characters I don't think were great were Chani and Jessica
I think the main reason the movie feels forgettable is because it's only a part one so it didn't have some kind of grand conclusion
Fat Baron only has 1 three minute scene.
Idaho did have a bit of personality but I wouldn't say kino.
Paul is boring.
I don't remember laughing once in the film.
The conclusion meme is bullshit because I remember the first sand worm scene which was legitimately suspenseful and well-done but the final fight scene could've been tense but I just didn't care at that point.
It was a good movie just very safe and bland. No spice, if you will.
Cinemaphile has pretty abysmal taste, I remember in 2019 everyone was shilling goyslop garbage like Alita Battle Angel and Godzilla King of the Monsters then, like this goober
>2019
Parasite
Weathering With You
The Wandering Earth >2020
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: The Movie - Mugen Train
Sonic the Hedgehog
The Eight Hundred >2021
Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time
Belle
Drive My Car >2022
Top Gun: Maverick
Everything. Everywhere. All At Once.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Hint: All of the films I loved are either Asian, Hollywood/Asia co-productions, or about Asian culture.
I am either an Asian supremacist or a massive weeaboo.
2019: Parasite
2020: Another Round
2021: Titane
2022: The Northman
Northman sucked ass
You suck (big black wieners)
Dune? Really?
Dune kicked ass, the visuals, sound design, and immersion are second to none

so another valerian?
Yes, though at least Valerian had a bit more personality and charm.

Based. We have the same in 2020 and 2022. I'm
I liked Tenet too, which was 2020. Parasite was okay. I think it's overrated.
I remember enjoying Little Women when I saw it at the theater. I empathized with Chalamet's character. Really well done picture.
2019: Uncut Gems
2020: cats & Dogs 3: Paws Unite!

I don't know how much of your post is a troll but I can't stand the idea that someone would say that's their favorite.
It's easily the best animated film of that year that wasn't dumped on Amazon Prime Video.
I might have some alternatives if I brainstormed but that's a solid list
