I’ve always wanted to see an Elseworlds where Superman is completely alien in his demeanour. Not evil per se, just legitimately detached from everyone and everything. He’d turn into a dictator for life not because he’d want to “make things safe”, but because he’d get tired babysitting moronic uglies, and he’d just use Earth as his personal zoo, waiting patiently and breeding a new Kryptonian Empire. He’d arbitrarily genocide X groups and erase Y history/cultures for not fitting into his aesthetical taste. That kind of thing. No outright malice, just a material god basically treating Earth and its people as art supplies and trying to create a great sculpture to pass the time. I think it’d be a neat story.
I want to see one where he's a grey alien but still somehow has a convincing disguise
Isn't that just American Dad?
I feel like there has to already be a Superman parody where he's clearly an alien but he just wears glasses and no one notices.
The current Miracleman silver age basically
there is tons of ""superman"" comics about that like this anon said
>He's not evil. He just kills anyone who annoys him and enslaves everyone else.
But ethics only matter with your intent. You, in reality, made a legitimately more Evil Superman.
So Superman's body, Braniac's outlook, and Zod's long term goals?
Now here's one I want to see. Not "Superman....but EVIL!!!!" Instead, "Brainiac.....but good." And no, Brainiac 5 doesn't count.
>Brainiac.....but good
How can you spin an obsession with people zoos as anything remotely good?
Our soil is toxic, our air is full of soot, our oceans are full of plastic, our sun causes cancer, and we can't do anything about it because we're too busy grinding just to survive and make rent.
Fricking sign me up for a zoo.
the same way we convinced masses of people to go to real zoos, idk man
So Thragg
I half had an idea for something like that
>Clark's pod flies into the fricking Sun instead of Earth
>He ends up becoming far more powerful than his main counterpart, but at the same time far more detached from humanity
>What you have is a pure force of nature that is completely alien to humanity that's more or less an extraterrestrial cryptid to the eyes of the masses that sometimes pops up once in a blue moon because something disturbed it and it responded
basically him?
Apparently Cinemaphile is where creativity goes to die.
Unless cartoon asses or royalty free old superheroes are involved.
It sucks because I prefer boobs to asses.
It's for their own protection.
I can't agree with that, but I respect your preferences.
If anon had creativity, he wouldn't be here in the first place
Yes
Why do you say that?
>Not evil per se
E.V.I.L Heroes
An alien superman to me would be having a demeanor similar to the Zuck. Trying to emulate human interaction and behaviour but coming off eerily detatched and uncanny to those around him. I also imagine him being highly utilitarian to a degree that he has moments of coldness that can be deemed as evil. I.e:
>"Mayor the delinquent was neurologically impaired. Life long intuitionlised care would not prevent him from further transgressing the law, that is why I lobotmised him"
Or
>"Why yes I do own the prefecture of Smallville, I find my guidance and bureaucractic structure benefits its inhabitants better than federal mandates. I hope to expand my refroms to gotham too"
I remember you posting this before. It’s an interesting idea.
Stardust is pretty much this, an all powerful being with a complete belief in the moral certainty of his actions that will forever remain terrifying, alien and unknown to mere humans.
