I'm happier when I'm consuming media. I've tried productive/creative pursuits before, but I have nothing to say. Trying to do something meaningful only leads me to disappointment in myself, so I stopped trying.
You're better off than me.
I've done nothing with mine but work hard and study.
Still poor, hitting my 30's and copying with the fact that I'll always be poor
Jesus, this is too moronic to be fake, and he's obviously lying at the end, probably trying to convince himself she was sad, which makes absolutely no sense. If a woman is interested and you ask her out on a date, she's not going to turn you down and shred you like that, saying that you aren't even worthy of the friend zone. What a freak.
The Wolfpack (2015)
Documentary about a bunch of brothers who were forced by their dad to stay indoors for most of their lives. They consumed kino the whole time growing up.
Unironically? Natural Born Killers. It's criminally underrated and it's in my top 10 favorite films. It has some of the best, frenzied pacing I've ever seen. It's funny, Tarantino's best picture is the one he didn't direct. But it still has some gratuitous foot shots kek.
Anon, you'll never run out. And besides, really great movies require multiple viewings in order to appreciate and absorb them fully. To me, a great movie is like a great album; I enjoy watching them over and over again.
I find it sad that so many of you refuse to have some sort of adventurous spirit. I feel bad that Im becoming more like you. The computer made you this way, made you negative about the world out there, about yourself. You need to find something to get excited about. Use your imagination. Im not trying to be mr self help guru, I know what its like to be depressed but someone needs to kick you up the ass and make you join the foreign legion or something.
No I think you are the one who is suicidal yet you dont have the balls to do anything with your life so you def wont have the balls to do that. So you rot and fester your life away, good for you!
>The computer made you this way
no, getting regularly smashed in the face with a brick as a kid made me this way. you're confusing symptoms with causes.
wait, i'm confused. if computers and the internet are the root of all evil and poison to the soul: wouldn't me suggesting you leave it all behind be the most caring and altruistic reply? i mean that's the advice you gave - does that mean you are hostile when you do that?

You can be in a computer rut that’s hurting you even if you’ve been hit in the head with bricks in the past, you don’t have to commit to ruts for things like that. You’re right I could probably do without internet too

sorry, but you really sound like a fedora tipping underage wannabe philosopher who watched a few jordan peterson videos and thinks he's wise now.
people are the accumulation of their experiences and a contiguous reflection of their past patterns - you can't just magically will yourself to be different or just forget about stuff that shaped you. even slight changes in fundamental personality traits are very rare and usually bought on by something very significant - not simply "choosing to be better."
i get what you're trying to say and i partially agree: but you're doing a shit job at saying what you mean and clearly lack experience with people or the world.

Yes you really can just use will to change your habits. I’m not saying you have to do it or anything but if you’re saying people can’t make decisions and control their life then I think you know you’re wrong

Up to a certain degree. With a lot of effort I managed to go from being destined to die at 24 somewhere in a ditch to getting an education and being self-sufficient. Liking people and having meaningful relationships is simply not in the cards for the foreseeable future. >but if you’re saying people can’t make decisions and control their life then I think you know you’re wrong
I agree with you, don't get me wrong. But willpower is not infinite, not completely abstract and it can help some things only so much - some it can't help at all. I'm not a nihilist: but toxic positivity just as fricking deluded as toxic negativity.

The world made me negative about the world out there. You're focusing on the symptom instead of the cause

Can’t you just be happy? You’re in such a privileged position that you can sit back and watch whatever movie or show you want. Why be bitter over it?
sit with the feel rather than escape it bc that's how you heal

The only happiness in my life is watching kinos so I dread what will happen when I run out of pre-SJW movies/shows

The "world out there" fricking sucks thanks to globohomosexual israelites, that's the problem.
>The computer made you this way, made you negative about the world out there, about yourself.
The world made me negative about the world out there. You're focusing on the symptom instead of the cause
Why cope and not do something about it instead?
And what can I do?
Join the foreign legion and buy kneepads
I make $60k a year but I need more, what do
Buy kneepads
More media is not the answer to overconsumption of media. Create something. But not in the "content creator" sense. Like, actually create something.
