not gonna lie, his movies are divided into two eras - "I'm on ER and everybody's mom knows me as Doug Ross so I've gotta try and get a break as a movie star" and "I am THE movie star and everything is now below me Obama please return my phone calls about Darfur"
neither era has very good movies, but From Dusk Till Dawn is a lot of fun
Yeah, one of my favourite comfy movies. I don't know whether it was chemistry between actors, or the setting but something about that movie feels so warm despite the tragic theme
this guy was just a trashy tabloid magnet. during the early 00s when the paparazzis were rampant, celebrity gossip and c-list relationship got huge following, he and Brad Pitt (cheating on his america's sweetheart wife) got the most benefit during that era.
Out of Sight (1998). If you don't see this film before everything else mentioned in this thread, you are an IDIOT. Also, Jennifer Lopez is an IDIOT. Blood & Wine, U-Turn and the aforementioned proved that she could not only act, but that she could act the SHIT out of it. And then the dumb b***h went and fricking sang, instead. Absolute DISGUST.
I forced myself to watch them (the modern trilogy) about ten years ago and I was pleasantly surprised, fun caper flicks. The thing had overstayed its welcome by the third flick, but that one wasn't terrible. Ocean's Twelve is boss.
first one is
second two have not aged well. not to mention that shite womyn spin off they did.
Terrible opinion. The rapport among the group develops well after the first one, the female characters have amusing turns, and Pitt's wardrobe is about the best of any in the whole thing. ALSO, the third one is just a boring casino re-tread of the first "hey let's have Al Pacino scream a bit this time". Even the hotel itself looks stupid.
>kino >Intolerable Cruelty
Intolerable Cruelty is the worst Coen Brothers movie I've seen and it's not even close, Clooney's sidekick is absolutely insufferable and the movie doesn't have much going on besides. Also, Hail, Caesar doesn't get enough credit, better than Gravity and Burn After Reading at least of the movies you mentioned, and I'd put it in the pper half of Coen Brothers movies as well.
I haven't seen The Ladykillers yet so I don't know about that, but I was really not impressed by Intolerably Cruelty. I don't think it's awful, but definitely nto among their better films. I will say though, I think I would have held it much higher regard if not for that character that's always following Clooney around, I seriously could not stand him and he's there for the entire movie, it's very rare I see a character in a movie I find that grating, the actor that plays him has to be one of the least charismatic actors I've ever seen. His presence on the screen was an intolerable cruelty directed at me.
>Hey Ethan I hear you're making another movie, I'm available! >Hey George, yeah no, this is a serious one, we'll call you for our next braindead comedy where you can play a fricking idiot again!
three kings
Fantastic Mr. Fox
from dusk til dawn and fantastic mr fox
he's only been in like three great movies and a handle of okay ones
not gonna lie, his movies are divided into two eras - "I'm on ER and everybody's mom knows me as Doug Ross so I've gotta try and get a break as a movie star" and "I am THE movie star and everything is now below me Obama please return my phone calls about Darfur"

did y'all ever see that interview where he said he played Batman as gay
I can't believe Michael Clayton invented this shitty trend instead of the moot movie.
His best performance so far, even though he again played himself
yo that movie is dope af, the scene where he tells his daughter is straight kino
this one is really comfy for some reason
Yeah, one of my favourite comfy movies. I don't know whether it was chemistry between actors, or the setting but something about that movie feels so warm despite the tragic theme
Ides of March is kinda respect-worthy in the way it criticizes "charming" politicians
this guy was just a trashy tabloid magnet. during the early 00s when the paparazzis were rampant, celebrity gossip and c-list relationship got huge following, he and Brad Pitt (cheating on his america's sweetheart wife) got the most benefit during that era.
He seems to be a closet homosexual though
Michael Clayton
literally anywhere
george only makes kino
don't know how no one mentioned o brother where art thou
Because it's pretentious shit masquerading as under the surface mythology for Americans to spot the parallels and feel intelligent
Clooney is the best Wayne to date.
the one with him and they were casted together when and it pretty much set the stage for all of them from the 90s forward

It’s a comfy movie my man and I don’t like Juno
This movie depicts the true nature of women
Watched randomly on television and didn't expected to like it as much as I did
I dare to call it kino
Gosling was so out acted by Clooney here
Are you all too good for Ocean's Eleven or something? Frick you guys
I forced myself to watch them (the modern trilogy) about ten years ago and I was pleasantly surprised, fun caper flicks. The thing had overstayed its welcome by the third flick, but that one wasn't terrible. Ocean's Twelve is boss.
Actually like twelve the most. Brad Pitt's character was really far more charismatic and they had better dialogue between them in Twelve
twelve is by far the worst one in the trilogy
Terrible opinion. The rapport among the group develops well after the first one, the female characters have amusing turns, and Pitt's wardrobe is about the best of any in the whole thing. I think Intolerable Cruelty is severely underrated and actually one of their best.
I also think Ladykillers is great.
