James Cameron thinks he's somehow an authority on submersibles because he paid engineers to build him one with his dirty Hollywood money. He should stick to making his movies and stop larping as an intelligent person.
He sorta kinda is, because he WAS the overall head of those projects, and even though he hired a bunch of experts, it was him guiding everything. His design philosophy was to be cautious, focus on safety and to focus on proven design principles. Very basic stuff but the polar opposite of the guy whose sub exploded.

Dumbass who gets an engineering undergrad then MBA, thinks he knows everything and anything engineering-related, his ego doesn't match his engineering skill even slightly.
