Barring the obvious physical appearance, I think he might pull it off if given the right direction. lobo isn't exactly a subtle character, and his aquaman was already closer to him rather than the actual aquaman in terms of temperament. my main concern for any adaptation is if and how much they are going to pussify him. hopefully they'll do a deadpool and just do their own thing and use c-listers that are expandable. lobo is pure chaotic evil and works at its finest when he doesn't have relevant dc characters that can't be maimed freely and force him to job

The role depends primarily on looks cause the acting is simple which is same point being made by other anon, a rockstar actor with dreddy long hair. If you really think momoa is better actor than you need to really dial into some of his scenes, dune for example.

I did check some rob zombie pics, and he looks too scrawny, plus he's almost 60 so there's no way he'd be able to get nearly as big as it would be required. I think most people are getting biased because of those pics in make up which admittedly look a lot like lobo, but that's it.
momoa with face painting and a good wig would be a perfect physical match. in terms of acting, I can't say I've seen any acting role of RZ that I remember, but I get the feeling momoa might pull it off. even if people complain that he's very samey in his performances, he still might be a good lobo because it isn't that far off from his baseline. take his aquaman and make it edgier and it's basically that
