In music, a cover is an artist singing another artist's song. It's exactly the same, just with their own voice. A remix is when someone takes a song and "changes it around" which I of course mean frick it up completely because I've never once heard a good remix in my life. Basically, Netflix is saying they're going to do their own story using the Avatar characters and they don't feel any obligation to adhere to the source material.
Covers aren't always 1:1. And sometimes the remix is the better version.
I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm saying this metaphor falls apart under scrutiny and that bodes ill for the series.
Funnily enough, if they're going to do an adaption at all, I'd rather them do it differently in some way and explore potential ideas or character developments that the original didn't.
It'll still almost certainly be worse than the original show, but just recreating the animated series shot-for-shot in live-action is even less than pointless.
>LE NETFUX ADAPTATION! THAT IS LE...GASP!...gayGED UP AND DIVERSIFIED!
>HOW CAN THIS BE!!!!!1111?
No one with more than two brain cells to rub together is surprised, or has a Netfux account. You get what you deserve for still supporting this shit company with bad ideas and DEI hires.
JUST MAKE AN ACCURATE ADAPTATION
I actually want the LA to fail. But unfortunately the universe hates me so it'll probably be good to spite me specifically.
R-R-R-REMIX!
>*beat drops*
>REEEEEEEEEEMIX!!!!
?si=rtbdYy7OSiSUn8hu
>Aang disappears in the first episode and we don't see him again until the finale
Zutara finally, the way it was meant to be.
God I can only imagine what they are going to do with Sokka.
I honestly can see it sadly.
They should've just picked some unknown avatar or made it further into the future tbh.
Whatever happened to that show with the Earth Avatar post-Korra?
Iirc it's coming out 2025
The hell does that even mean?

>it’s One Piece all over again.
fixed

Great. So it will be absolute shit just like literally every single fricking time people try to do this.
I actually would prefer this to a 1:1 adaptation. At that point I can just rewatch the original.
BTAS wasn't a 1:1 adaption of the source material, but it was still good.
What does FF7 mean?
homosexual Frickfest 7, a kult film classic in underground dog breeding gay circles.
I mean, Hojo was going to breed Aerith and Red 13 (a dog)
changed to him suggesting SOLDIERs instead, because it was obvious to everyone that his plan of using red XIII was stupid
>Hazbin has been a complete disappointment
>Now this
Just stop...
I hope it goes off the fricking rails like Rebuild of Evangelion, the original story didn't need an adaptation
I mean duh. Who was expecting this to be faithful adaptation when it's live action and episodes are a hour long?
As long there's no moronic time ghosts then we good.
>GASP!

Firecest bros get in here
They don't have the fricking balls.
If this were HBO, sure.
ZUTARA BACK ON THE MENU BOYS!!
>Aang dies and Katara is actually the Avatar
Azula will get redemption arc.
It's over
I'd prefer something different. Why bother watching live action if the cartoon is still there?
Make something new if you want something different. Zoomers are sick in the head.
>it’s Yu Yu Hakusho all over again
fixed
It's over.
So, how bad do we think it's going to get?
Rather than doing the Last Airbender, they should do some other avatars like the one with Dyke Island or whatever
