Jesus Of Nazareth

This is undoubtedly the best depiction of the life of Jesus Christ ever put to screen. The filmmaking was impeccable, the music was serene and every single actor was masterfully cast and directed. I am in awe of what was accomplished with this utter masterpiece of the cinematic medium. Robert Powell is the definitive portrayal of the Lord.

It's fake bro. A blankey with the imprint of a person would look stretched and wide because of how it would have to wrap the 3d structure of the face and body.

I'm Catholic and I'm skeptical of the Shroud tbqh. The burial shroud of Jesus wouldn't have just randomly showed up with no traceable history prior to the middle ages.

One of the earliest sources is the local bishop complaining that it's a fake too. Taking things purely on blind faith isn't how Catholics or any Christian should believe.

If you spent even 15 minutes reading up on it you'd know that exactly zero people think it's real based on "faith"

At best, it is a perfect photo negative of a 3D projected image created 500 years before photography would ever have been invented. It's just as likely to be a haux as it is a genuine miracle.

There is a reason why even the Vatican refuses to say its authentic. If it was real he would also have freakishly long arms, try to do the position yourself laying down and note how far your elbows point out from your body.

There are zero serious academics who critique the shroud based on the dimensions of the person depicted on it. Please try even a little bit harder.
