Maybe, but in so far as the threads god, things are post political. If we judge things on the merits of the evidence, it doesn't make much sense to think that we are going to materially improve our lives by voting for X candidate or Y candidate. As such, it generally makes a lot more sense to have a much narrower, more personal scope.
