I don't disagree with you anon. In fact, I think Kingdom Hearts 3 was irredeemable dog shit and that the only good part of the game was Olympus.
I think with that one exception all the disney worlds they picked sucked and were huge wastes of time. Especially Arendelle, and Corona literally gets worse on subsequent visits because you lose a party member.
I think Monsteropolis and Toy Box were wholly overrated based on meme scenes, and Toy Box can frick itself especially for setting up that Verum Rex shit. I don't give two shits about Nomura doing a salty runback on Versus XIII and so if KH4 is going to be mostly that he can miss me with that trash.
I MIGHT have enjoyed the original worlds except oh wait they're not relevant at fricking all. We don't even get to visit Hollow Bastion in game? KH3 is 70% filler, 20% sequel hooks, and 10% actual good moments AT BEST, and the vast majority of those required you to buy additional DLC so it can go frick itself.
Now having said all that, I do think that of the 3d era of Disney/Pixar movies, there are two that would make for good worlds in a Kingdom Hearts game; Moana is one, because of that movie having a lot of coincidental parallels to Kingdom Hearts, and the other is Coco because I like the day of the dead aesthetics. So long as the world wasn't just a recreation of the movie I could see that being fun. I can't comment on the other shit because I haven't seen most of it. I don't think Brave would work but at least it'd probably have the same problem as Corona now that I think about it.
Would be nice to see them dive into the short films and package films. Mickey and the Beanstalk, Three Caballeros, Prince and the Pauper, Mickey's Christmas Carol, would all make good worlds IMO
