easy money
>we need more money so recycle old successful intellectual properties
Surprised Disney hasn't announced Toy Story trilogies.
>Randy Newman
Made me look it up ya bastard
disney has a suffered a string of flops over the past year so they're slamming that franchise sequelslop panic button like there's no tomorrow
Wait I thought Woody left the group. How is he back?
Somehow woody returned…
Moreover, are they going to sideline Buzz again because Tim Allen is to the right of center?
Because they are incapable of creating new stories
>Why are they making this
because you'll watch it and talk about it endlessly on the internet
This, I know more about these shitty movies from this website than I ever hear about on real life
Nobody talked about TS4
Imagine if they just set the movie in Japan
There was a Toy Story 4?
wtf
>Randy Newman dead
money. why are you even asking
>Who the frick cares
imagine being a grown man caring about their latest goyslop
>my soul: dead
YOU'VE GOT A FRIEND IN ME
I saw the first one, it was okay, kind of shocked to see there's a fifth one coming. It was novel with the first one now every animated movie has this smooth bubble look. How much longer can they do this. Soon it'll be AI voices of dead actors. They had 20 years or so to come up with new ideas. What's the appeal of this shit at this point. Tom Hanks? Give me a break. Was Toy Story so great parents will take their kids to this one? So yes I guess I'm confused as well.
That's negative but I can give credit to other franchises that I was pleasantly surprised by. That Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem was great, animation was good, funny movie. So maybe there is hope for occasionally an IP will get into the right hands.
The real Pixar died with Toy Story 3. Yeah nu-Pixar had some decent flicks, but nothing will ever match the run they had up to that point.
Now Pete Docter is cucked by his creative teams because he’s too scared to stamp his authority down because he doesn’t want to be Lasseter-ed. Pixar also changed the base skin tone so anyone who was ‘white’ is now on the brown spectrum. I’m being serious go and watch any modern Pixar.
3 is the start of Nu-Pixar. Toy Story 3 is an aggressively mediocre movie that completely hinges on nostalgia homosexualry.
>3 is the start of NuPixar
I watched TS3 the other day and I don't think there's a single black person in the entire movie. Woody and Buzz are very much the 2 leads, where as Buzz is quite literally demoted to a side character in TS4 so Bopeep can take his place
>Buzz are very much the 2 leads, where as Buzz is quite literally demoted to a side character in TS4 so Bopeep can take his place
You mean like how he speaks spanish as a joke character for the majority of Toy Story 3?
It’s not hard to see what happened to Pixar. The guys who were responsible for their creativity are almost all gone. John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Joe Ranft, Lee Unkrich, Brad Bird are all gone. Pete Docter is the only guy still there but can’t make his mark as a CCO, even though all his directorial movies have been great
because of the blind brand loyalty of marketing victims

Motherfricking money y'all
To correct the mistake of the last one
> TS3: we'll always stick together no matter what 🙂
> TS4: frick off buzz I'm going to go have sexual adventures with my new yoko ono OKAY?
>X Actor is dead
You know AI is a thing now right? You can have an actor say the lines and AI can make them into the likeness of the dead actor.
the toy story franchise is sentimentality porn. "hey remember this thing you liked when you wer a kid? well everyone who made it is dead and you are old. feeling fistfil yet?" dead celebs are good for the brand, like yeah they WISH randy newman was dead
>5
When the frick was there a toy story 4?
I envy you
They've still got John Ratzenberger
I'd be hopeful in a world where The Indestructibles 2 never seen the ligh of day, except it has..
