>This March, a new GHOST RIDER will set the roads of the Marvel Universe ablaze in GHOST RIDER: FINAL VENGEANCE! Continuing Benjamin Percy’s acclaimed and thought-provoking work on the Ghost Rider mythos, the new series will see the Spirit of Vengeance fall into the wrong hands and fans won’t believe who it is! Now, Johnny Blaze must embark on an epic quest to become Ghost Rider again before the newly possessed uses its demonic power for a dark purpose. Joining Percy on his latest hell ride will be Marvel newcomer Danny Kim, known for his work on last month’s GHOST RIDER ANNUAL #1.
>Fans will have to wait to find out who the new GHOST RIDER is but in the meantime, see Johnny Blaze enjoy his last moments as the iconic Flamehead in Greg Capullo’s cover for GHOST RIDER: FINAL VENGEANCE #1. Also available as a Virgin Variant Cover, this is the superstar artist’s latest piece since his grand return to Marvel Comics earlier this year.
>Who is the new Spirit of Vengeance? Johnny Blaze was bonded with the Spirit of Vengeance. Unwilling to be a monster, Johnny used this demon from Hell to do good as the Ghost Rider. But heroism isn’t what the Rider was meant for. So who will be the new Spirit of Vengeance? And what will it mean for the Marvel Universe?
>Check out Capullo’s cover now and stay tuned for the reveal of the new Ghost Rider in the coming weeks!

Hasn’t he given up the spirit on multiple occasions?
Yea. This is about as played out as ‘Death of’ stories
Whoopie Doo.
BRING ALEJANDRA BACC
Will he be replaced by a black man or a black woman?
Rent free
So Spawn with a motorcycle?
But there's like two or three other Ghost Riders active RIGHT NOW, aren't there?
No, it'll probably be his goth punk GF with all the facial piercings. Kind of getting that vibe from the current comics, anyway. Don't get me wrong Johnny deserves some fricking closure but on an infinite timeline that'll never happen.
Robbie is technically a rider, Danny is the Death Rider.....I think
>Stacked gothic punk Ghost Rider
PLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASE
I mean it feels like the direction they're going since they've really REALLY been digging into her background and building up her occult background. She has intimate understanding of the Rider and even though it's not the direction i'd prefer, it would make perfect sense to go that way if they're going to.
Isn't she a wizard already? Making her a Rider on top of that feels an awful lot like a hat on a hat situation.
Pretty much, but that can work in its own right. There was a short story in one of the recent comics about Johnny's encounter with a native lady Rider who was also a sorcerer supreme back in the time she was from (I think? I don't feel like digging back into it right now), and it basically showed "yeah but here's what would happen if the rider also had MAGIC bro" or something like that - I'm oversimplifying it due to shoddy memory. Again, it's another point in the column of why I think they'd go that route.
>stacked
Never happening. Americoids are scared of the titty.
Nah I think they're making Fantasma canon and the moon child they just created will morph into her.
>But there's like two or three other Ghost Riders active RIGHT NOW, aren't there?
Technically three
>Danny
>Some Native chick from Strange Academy
>Some WW2 guy Hulk is about to fight/team up with
Sadly Robbie got sent to limbo (not that one) at the end of Aaron's dogshit Avengers but that also means his safe from bullshit
Oh and technically Banshee is one too
So the new Ghost Rider will be the villain of the story?
After Kamala speed running death and revival in less than a month a while ago, I almost feel like we should be betting on how fast Johnny will go back to being Ghost Rider.
Think he'll come back before or after Marc Spector?
After since Spector is still alive
Why do they keep giving him Danny’s bike
Wait, so is the new Ghost Rider just going to be a short arc? Not really worth rebooting the series for.
New number 1!
AND outrage farming in the leadup with all the "new Ghost Rider" headlines.
>Possessed man
>Flaming skull daemon dude
>Monstrous bike with flaming wheels
Ghost Rider is such a good concept on paper but all his iterations have been executed extremely poorly. He should had been like Marvel's Spawn. They could turn him into a gay paki and I still wouldn't care because every iteration of the character has evoked no thrills.
I think the most fun I've ever had with the character is when they had Johnny and Danny and that hot nun lady teamed up, and fighting alongside all those other ghost riders from across time. That was a neat idea and the characters seemed to have decent chemistry to me. And then it never mattered again and everything got set to zero and next I saw Johnny he was fighting over his inner fricking demon again.
So idk just let the poor fricker rest.
Yeah. In the end Johnny isn't as integral to Ghost Rider's identity as, say, Bruce Banner is to the Hulk. They really could retire him.
While it's true that Johnny isn't integral, I'm just sick of minorities and women replacing white male heroes
If continuing to drag out the hero's story means bastardizing each and every bit of progress he's ever made then I could care less who replaces him. It makes me way madder to keep seeing someone who made so many gains reduced back to status quo just to squeeze out another book. If they want to make another character to take up the mantle and ruin them, fricking go for it, I don't care anymore.
What I will admit to hating is when they do this by bastardizing the old character just to make the new look good. If they let the old character go out on a high note and pass on the baton, fine, whatever. But that's assuming Marvel can ever fricking retire a character instead of keeping them around for fanservice points.
So does this mean that Danny can be ghost rider again? Or are we getting another diversity replacement?
His final, until the new guy fails to catch on and they bring him back in 5-7 years, taking all the fun new stuff they invented for the new guy.
You guys are getting triggered over a 5 to 8 story where Johnny has to get his spirit back.....
I legitimately don't want him to. I want the poor bastard to get an ending, even if it's just to fricking ride off into the sunset. But there's no such thing as an ending, just a "to be continued" that never comes.
>I want the poor bastard to get an ending
This is comics
I know, but I can't help but want what I can never have...
>killing Johnny Blaze
>killing Marc Spector
why is marvel doing this
Jesus frick are you people REALLY this stupid thinking it will stick? How many times have these two died already? Think, you dumb bastards
It's just an excuse for homosexuals to whine about minorities
