He being the strongest is like a big thing in the plot. Like everyone in the organization is always remarking how no one can beat him. Even the bad guys have to plan everything around him, and the momment he shows up they scram as fast as they can. As a powerlevel fanboy I really like that about the show.

That's why Togashi hasn't published a single chapter in years and keeps getting away with it.
If there's a comparison to be made is between nen and cursed energy for how similar they're treated, and that explains why hxh is superior.
-Togashi eases you into the power structure and explains to you the reader, and the main characters the basics so even much later in the story, those principles are still relevant, also making nen being available to everyone makes the story much more balanced, in the succession war, just this basic thing has become a big deal despite how advanced their techniques are.
-Meanwhile, gege starts jjk having gojo already telling you about a bunch of crazy shit, a lot of characters giving you lots of rules and applications but also a bunch of exceptions during that same exposition that make everything confusing, like

It's a show about fighting, the author read hxh and wanted a power system like nen but he wasn't clever enough to expand it properly or integrate it to the common activities of the characters, and he simply called it cursed energy and it serves for nothing but fighting
I recently watched JJK, it sucked, just hollow, meaningless action with no semblance of character or story. IDC how good the action is supposed to be, if you're not invested in the characters and the story it's all dross. The S2 opening was a BANGER doe and I love the heaven/earth line, that's about it

The main thing I like about JJK is that it actually kills off characters. That's my biggest issue with nearly all shounen, and JJK fixes it
It does feel like a breath of fresh air sometimes, especially as a one piece reader, because oda plays too safe most of the times, but gege tends to take it to the other side of the spectrum, by just killing for the sake of it and the characters have no time to develop so they are like cattle waiting to get sacrificed
