You liked it, I would imagine. Also, Helly. https://youtu.be/xP7EvEMMUDo
In this case it's plausible, though, because Erickson wrote the pilot years before the show went into production. Could be bullshit, but there's a chance it isn't.
Worst offender so far is From. At least Severance was interesting and entertaining.
I watched Severance and From and I got burned by Lost back in the day. Severance had a strong first season, but these shows always do, still plenty of time to frick it up. However, there were wayyy fewer seemingly random mysteries with actual consequences. Worst thing anons can name is the room with the goats.
why do you guys come into every thread with the hope of turning it into rabbit hole...do you wake up every morning wondering how best to shit on another person
A huge issue with streaming platforms is that everything has to be a series now. The basic concept of Severance could probably be covered in an hour-long Black Mirror episode or a movie.
Agreed. They feel the need to stretch everything to 8-10 episodes and the product suffers. That was the point of streaming back in the day, you didn't have to play by the rules of network TV.
I love how the BBC and other brit companies aren't afraid to make a 6 episode show.
The North Water was only 5 episodes and it was perfect
I hate how movies are 2.5hr plus now days too. Oppenheimer 3h, Killers of the Flower Moon 3hrs, DUNE2 2h45m wtf is this shit?
Not for another year at least I think. Strike and some in-fighting with the creators delayed crap. They should get on it asap though one of the better shows in the past few years
Shit, I hoped to have it this year.
It's already been delayed too much.
I read journos that said it will come this fall, not sure if they are to be trusted tho..
"Severance Season 2, expected in 2024, faces potential delays. Conflicting reports about showrunner disputes and a strike add uncertainty. Ben Stiller denies issues, while fans await updates. Severance Season 2 is anticipated in 2024, but no specific release date has been announced."
Was a fun ride, but I can't imagine a need for another 9 or so hours of this shit. Sometimes the best resolution is just letting the audience fill in the blank.
-Bad writing because it goes nowhere every episode until the end where something happens, not much, but just enough to get you to watch another episode. And the process repeats.
-It also feels like they had no idea what they were doing beyond the initial premise.
-Feels like they had no idea what they were doing outside of the initial premise and one or 2 ideas here and there
-Utterly pointless and disgusting elderly man romance
-Ends frustratingly, with the fate of season 2 in limbo
>Good
Weird corporate wagie setting
All the women in the show are extremely attractive to me
>Bad
The dramatic mystery vibe they're trying to force toward the final episodes.
I don't care what's going in. I don't want the mystery solved. I don't want dramatic plots.
>what did I think about it?
I don't know anon, what DID you think about it? >is there gonna be another season or that was it?
Production on season 2 started, was then delayed for a long time because of the strike, and has since resumed. No ETA on release date last I heard.
kino and then they made some characters homosexuals for some reason.
and then they had one chance to redeem but then also made their outies gays. it wouldve at least been interested to be a gay innie and normal outie
Plebbit sloppa
No waffle party for you
there's gonna be more next year.
it was supposed to come out this year but le strike pushed it way back.
I dont understand why she had a temple in her basement
theory:
she's severed and her outie was somehow destroyed leaving only the innie alive.
innies were brought up on praising the founder.
These mystery box shows are never satisfying in the end. Ben Stiller claims they have a definite outline, but I doubt it.
Worst offender so far is From. At least Severance was interesting and entertaining.
>Producer whose job it is to promote the show says positive things in a promotional interview
Wow

She’s gay and that was a shrine to Melissa “Kier” Etheridge
She was raised by a Lumon orphanage and is crazy. Upper Management doesn't go through severance.
why should you care if people dont want to be Severance just get others would wants it...
>why
money
power
unrestricted access to user's mind
naïve people are a dime for a dozen...i'd get Severance if it was offer
you've already taken the vaxx so it's kinda the same
Cringe. Move on.
why do you guys come into every thread with the hope of turning it into rabbit hole...do you wake up every morning wondering how best to shit on another person
not your safe space homosexual, go back to plebbit and downvote me if you want
Cool idea for a show but it seemed like they didn't know how to flesh out the idea.

I still felt North Water overlong, but thats perhaps due to Ep 4
>what did I think about it?
Ask your innie
You thought it was Mystery Box garbage.
Don't know anything about the show but I want a gf who looks like that.
Season 2 is dropping soon, no?
Not for another year at least I think. Strike and some in-fighting with the creators delayed crap. They should get on it asap though one of the better shows in the past few years

Oh maybe they pushed it up a bit:

Why is Apple TV so based bros? Non stop kino out the ass
They're as bad as netflix.
Black person
You'll wait 3 years and you'll like it.
I forgot what happened.
Christopher Walken came out of the closet
My outtie goes inside the therapists innie
I got severance and succession mixed up when someone recommended succession. didn't like either show tbf
BOOBA
mega kino

I fricking liked it.
I don't understand the amount of people writing off season 2 before a single episode airs. I'm jaded but God damn.
+Good premise.
+Good acting.

This made me kek because I called it straight away and my wife told me that i was being stupid.
Pretty spot on with how I felt. You hit all the right points
